Good food but too pricey (what’s new- it’s LA!) for what it is but great service!
Service was very slow. It was almost 20 minutes before they even came over to ask for my drink order. Food was mediocre at best. Chicken is as dry as cardboard. Lobster was tasteless. $26 for a tequila? At these prices service and food should be much better
Everything was good except for the high decibel noise level
We had a superb, flavorful meal in a lovely, warm setting. The menu options were so mouth-watering, it was hard to choose. The complimentary olive oil sampling to start the meal was divine. The bread alone that came with it was amazing! We ordered the crostini appetizer with three options, and each was delicious. My favorite was the one with manchego cheese and fig spread, but the smoked salmon and craime fraiche was also incredible. My boyfriend adored his chicken tajine, which was full of flavor and light spices. He would have licked the plate if he could have. I got the paella, which was comforting and bursting with various types of seafood. I was worried it would be a giant dish, but it was just the right size. I would definitely get it again. For dessert, we shared the chocolate obsession cake, which was infinitely rich and smooth with a bright spot of raspberry here and there.
The environment was energetic and serene all at once, full of warmth and gold-tinged lighting. Our waiter was very attentive and the busboys cleared the plates at just the right moment. This is a wonderful place to go for a nice dinner out or a special occasion. Highly recommend!
Nice setting and design, but the food leaves much to be desired. Dishes were not all that flavorful, though nicely presented. I could have cooked the dishes at home with ease, and at a fraction of the price.
Overall it’s our favorite place on the West side!

The only complaint is that the term Mediterranean fries is misleading.
I went here with my wife for our first date since our daughter was born and we were both very disappointed. We started out with the charcuterie board. It was very basic and mediocre. Next was the fig & olive salad which was also mediocre. For the main course we had the lamb and the duck breast (both ordered medium rare). The duck breast was overcooked, tough, and bland. The lamb was cooked well but also very bland. Additionally, the food came out extremely slowly. Overall we were both very disappointed with the restaurant and in awe of how they manage to stay in business. Top this off with the fact that the meal was around $200 (with no alcohol), suffice it to say we will never go back.

There were not enough servers and there was a special event there that relegated other guests to one room. The room was very cold and they were reluctant to turn it off. One of party ordered soup that was not hot and when they brought another one, it was also not hot.

The food was actually awful. We got a pasta dish, it was super basic, absolutely nothing special. Trader Joe's has better pasta in their freezer section. The yellowtail tuna was tasteless, my neighborhood poke place has better yellowtail. Lastly, we got the New York steak "medium well", but it came out as bloody as ever. Literally a pool of blood on my plate. And I wouldn't mind a medium or medium rare steak, but this was COLD, raw, and the taste was disgusting. The potatoes on the plate were also ice cold. Fig and olive should be embarrassed of the food they serve to their patrons. Never going back. Biggest waste of money and time I'll never get back.
Saturday night, it was extremely busy and they were behind and we waited at the bar for 10-15 minutes before we were seated for a party of 2. There was a live DJ and at first I felt like I was walking into a party, but it was nice and the ambiance was perfect. Service seemed a little slow at first, but we were timely helped by men in suits who appeared to be managers. They took our drink, appetizers, and entrée orders. Our appetizers and main courses came out pretty fast for as busy as they were. The managers and eventually wait staff were very attentive. Overall, the food, ambiance, venue, and service was excellent. Definitely would go back again!
Awful experience. The noise was out of control. I go to a restaurant to eat and enjoy talking with my family and friends. I do not go to scream at each other over music that is extremely loud. Totally ruined our experience. The pork was dry and over cooked. Will not repeat.
Beautiful spot, went at 9 on a Thursday so there weren’t the usual crowds.

Beautiful restaurant with "meh" food. We had heard such great things about this place and we were underwhelmed. Nothing food-wise was bad, but all was mostly just "fine". We won't be going back.
The outdoor rise cafe was perfect for our meeting!
Everything was terrific: carrot ginger soup, amazing mushroom truffle risotto, chocolate cake. Really good!
The chicken dish was ok but nothing special. However they have very good wines.
I had a NY strip steak that was just terrible. The worst meat quality I had in a long time. Half of it was just fat with not much meat. Tastes like the cheapest meat you can buy at Walmart or something. I usually never leave reviews, but here I had to. Service also was terrible. Our server didn't know what he was doing. Never be back again. And funny thing I really liked Fig and Olive in Newport Beach that I visited couple months ago.
Great service at dinner, less so for brunch. The noise level is a bit annoying, sounds like you're in a gym in the main dining area. Esthetics are good, service was great at night. Food was good so no complaints at all.
Our waiter was charming and the interior is beautiful. My paella was terrific!! Nearly perfect. Just a little slow on water and asking if we needed more. But, I absolutely looking forward to dining there again on my next trip to LA.
We love this restaurant for the food and service! We have only had the opportunity to have lunches there but love it! We also make sure that we pick up our favorite Blood orange olive oil every time we go.
Reserved a table for lunch with my wife and was blown away by the food and the service. Our waiter was super knowledgeable about the food, how is was prepared, where the ingredients originated and what he would recommend. We had a selection of crostini along with a smooth carrot ginger soup and a lobster salad. Never felt rushed, enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and just relaxed for the two hours.
If you can make time to lunch and enjoy then I say book Fig & Olive. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

The Riviera Salmon was unfortunately, nothing to talk about and I thought, rather tasteless.
Fig & Olive is a wonderful place for a special night out with your special someone.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Our waiter was attentive to our needs, the food was great and the space is very open and inviting with lots of natural light. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic brunch!! The yellowfin tuna and the steaks and bellini’s and the croquettes-always impeccably made. A work of art, the chef is outstanding and the service is a s always perfect. Ask for Herschel (misspelled) what a gentleman. One of the nicest servers ever and a dedicated father. We go there every few months when we are in California. Don’t leave without Sunday brunch
The staff was amazing and the food was remarkable! We had many food restrictions and they assisted us every step of the way!
Great food as always. The only issue is the service. No sooner do you put your utensils down, and the bussers ask if you're done with your plate...regardless if there's still food on it or not. It's part disconcerting, part annoying. I get that you need butts in seats, but I don't want to feel rushed if I'm paying for a good meal.
Lovely room, food not stellar and was given a hard time when I did not want to take the remainder of my meal home with me.
