I took 7 friends to this restaurant--I've been here many times, but this one missed the mark. The waiter messed up two of the ladies' orders and had to re enter their salad orders after the rest of our meals were already delivered. We all waited for their two meals to come out of the kitchen which made our meals cold by the time we ate them. It was a 20 minute wait for the last two dishes to come out and this restaurant wasn't even busy! This could have been remedied in so many ways--the waiter could have offered them a free cocktail while they waited or he could've offered them another crostini or whatever--But he offered absolutely nothing. A very meek apology was all we got. We were fully charged for everything even though it was pretty much a disaster. We ordered drinks and appetizers and left a 25% tip as per our usual standard. So undeserved. Never again.

Hi. I would "recommend" with a caveat because it seems, compared with prior visits, the food was just not up to par as usual. The mushroom croquettes have always been a staple of ours; this time, they were very "mayonnaisey" and bland; the fig and olive salad, usually a large and healthy-looking dish, looked sloppy and "thrown together and was drowned in dressing; I added salmon this time and got a tiny overcooked "filet" (piece). The Hamachi crudo was a real mess; the complementary citrus was just too much for the sashimi and it tasted to be honest, just awful. Separating the fish out from the rest helped but that's not the point is it? :) My friend's cauliflower was overcooked (some were actually burned) but neither of us made a big deal out of any of this (for example, returning any dish, which we probably should have) although we did make one or 2 comments to our server. Our thought was that the chef that night was just not with it and we would still receive the same substandard food had we asked for replacements. Oh well. I'm taking the time to negatively feedback because overall we do like fig and olive and have been there many times. True, the DJ music can be overwhelmingly loud at times (hint hint) but that said, its usually a good evening. This time it simply was not. GM.. and CHEF: are you listening?

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is always fantastic. The crostini starters are a must - especially the burrata! Wait staff gives just the right amount of attention. A favorite spot for brunch and dinner.

Loved the interior - waitress informed us the restaurant featured in Sex and the City as a brunch spot. Food was fabulous, loved the location and the service second to none. Not the cheapest but was certainly memorable.

The food here is very, very good. Which, if you’ve read anything about Fig & Olive, probably isn’t surprising. Their cocktails are also delicious. The ingredients are fresh and extremely high quality, the flavor combinations are nuanced and sophisticated, and there’s something on the menu for everyone. We had very good service, and the staff and kitchen were very accommodating when we told them my partner couldn’t have gluten or dairy. They were able to make risotto without cheese taste amazing (I had some of her dish). The decor can really only be described as tastefully swanky. Our only complaint was the music, which was decidedly less nuanced and sophisticated than the food being served. I think they can hit the young, hip demographic while playing a selection that is as high class as the rest of what they do. It certainly won’t deter us from returning, but will limit the kind of occasions we come for.

This was my third time eating at Fig & Olive Meatpacking and it did not fail to impress! My fiance and I brought his parents for dinner and they LOVED it! They especially loved the unique ambiance and interior design which gave an overall trendy, but still relaxed feel. The food was consistently delicious with a very large menu. I got the salmon with cauliflower and greens which came with an absolutely delicious sauce that really elevated the creativity of the dish. Another favorite that night was the truffle risotto which is always a winning choice. I would HIGHLY recommend Fig & Olive Meatpacking for really any and all dinner occasions from date night to dinner with family or friends to birthday celebrations. It always delivers high quality service, innovative Mediterranean food, and a really fun and beautiful dining environment. I can't wait to go back!

We eat here often! Open Table NEVER tells a patron when menu is prix fix!! Big problem! We don’t do prix fix. Service was awful, food was like eating in a factory! Complete wast of money, Great way to ruin a wonderful occasion!

Atmosphere was energetic but food was disappointing. Our waiter was very nice but seemed to have too many tables as he kept apologizing for being slow to get to us. I think there are better options in NYC to eat good food.
