The food here is very, very good. Which, if you’ve read anything about Fig & Olive, probably isn’t surprising. Their cocktails are also delicious. The ingredients are fresh and extremely high quality, the flavor combinations are nuanced and sophisticated, and there’s something on the menu for everyone. We had very good service, and the staff and kitchen were very accommodating when we told them my partner couldn’t have gluten or dairy. They were able to make risotto without cheese taste amazing (I had some of her dish). The decor can really only be described as tastefully swanky. Our only complaint was the music, which was decidedly less nuanced and sophisticated than the food being served. I think they can hit the young, hip demographic while playing a selection that is as high class as the rest of what they do. It certainly won’t deter us from returning, but will limit the kind of occasions we come for.

This was my third time eating at Fig & Olive Meatpacking and it did not fail to impress! My fiance and I brought his parents for dinner and they LOVED it! They especially loved the unique ambiance and interior design which gave an overall trendy, but still relaxed feel. The food was consistently delicious with a very large menu. I got the salmon with cauliflower and greens which came with an absolutely delicious sauce that really elevated the creativity of the dish. Another favorite that night was the truffle risotto which is always a winning choice. I would HIGHLY recommend Fig & Olive Meatpacking for really any and all dinner occasions from date night to dinner with family or friends to birthday celebrations. It always delivers high quality service, innovative Mediterranean food, and a really fun and beautiful dining environment. I can't wait to go back!

Very fair experience for the price. Would not repeat for a special occasion as it seems to be a hectic place.

We eat here often! Open Table NEVER tells a patron when menu is prix fix!! Big problem! We don’t do prix fix. Service was awful, food was like eating in a factory! Complete wast of money, Great way to ruin a wonderful occasion!
Thanks Open Table. This is something you always do!!!

Atmosphere was energetic but food was disappointing. Our waiter was very nice but seemed to have too many tables as he kept apologizing for being slow to get to us. I think there are better options in NYC to eat good food.

Food is always very good, the "vibe" is also very cool BUT this particular evening our waiter had too many tables to serve and the experience was lacking because of this....

Nice place but is to noisy. We went to have diner at 9:00 PM and the noise was similar to a night club. We couldn't talk without yelling. The host was unpolite, not a kind person.

This restaurant was outstanding. I am particular about entire dining experience and generally leave most restaurants with a minimum of 3 complaints. I have absolutely none. Fig & Olive was truly a dining pleasure. We shared several dishes and each item was phenomenal. I would highly recommend.

I’ve had excellent lunches here but dinner was mediocre. It took a long time between 1st & 2nd courses. It appears our 2nd course was sitting under hot lamp in kitchen for quite a while.

I love the place , the front desk people were amazing, I loved the table we were seated at, I only had a salad the salmon and shrimp and the shrimp were not fresh they were dry , I asked for my salmon well done it was still medium rare. I ate it , I don’t like making a scene .My sister had the seabass and side order of brussel sprouts, I wouldn't have them again the sprouts were alittle on the vinegar side , we had 2 glasses of Prosecco, the bus people kept asking if we were done while we where eating and talking I guess people don’t eat as slow as were , 4 times to be exact they came to the table at one point I thought they need the table back. I was alittle surprised that our bill was $137.00 but it’s New York our waiter was great . I actually like the restaurant, but not sure if I would dine there again, the food really didn’t move me . This is becoming something of a trend in the city. I wish the business well all the same

An enjoyable restaurant week lunch experience, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. (The RW lunch deal is a steal at a nice place like this.) My friend is gluten-free and I am vegetarian, and they were able to accommodate both restrictions without any fuss. The risotto I had was absolutely amazing -- rich and filling. I also loved the pot de creme for dessert! Will hopefully return in the future for a date night or cocktails at their appealing-looking bar.

This was our first time at this restaurant which was recommended by friend We went as a family of five and it was top notch from start to finish. My husband and son had the octopus appetizer which was tender and delicious. Daughter had fig salad which she loved. I had the risotto as a main dish which was off the chart. Both boys had the filet which were tender and perfectly cooked. Will definitely go back.

Great ambiance and amazing tasting food for the value ($29 tasting during Restaurant Week). Definitely will go back to sample the full menu, even though the tasting menu picked a lot of the most tempting dishes of the menu.

Er wordt wat gedaan met de informatie bij het boeken van de reservering. Dat geeft een heel goed gevoel . Gecombineerd met de gezellige sfeer zeker een punt waardoor we er graag zullen terugkomen.

Very pleasant overall experience. Restaurant week menu was ample and all we had was good. Portions more than ample. All persons we came in contact with were very gracious and accommodating. Wines by glass worthwhile. Reservation was for 630 and being somewhat elderly we appreciated the relative quiet. By the time we left around 815pm it was considerably louder but not overbearing.

Nice hip place. Warm personnel at the entrance and serving. At first it seemed noisy but the space is big, and the three of us were able to have a lively conversation without a problem. The space between tables was very good, chairs were big and comfortable. We went for Restaurant Week, and tried three different plates from the menu. Everything was beautifully presented, cooked perfectly, and tasted unique. The duck looked like filet mignon and tasted almost buttery. The wine was superb. Service was attentive and not overbearing. We stayed until closing with no problem. Excellent high-end restaurant. Worth every penny.

It is a great restaurant, no doubt about that. The problem is that it is an overpriced one, in my opinion. I spent $165 for two people (with wine and coffee) and feel that kind of money is much more worth at other restaurants.
