FIG & OLIVE Meatpacking

Always great food and good ambiance - one always finds something for every diet - be it something light or more substantial like the rack of lamb beautifully presented under a "cloche" full of mediterranean aromas. Excellent dish!
My boyfriend and I came here for date night. Overall we had a great experience. We ordered the crostini’s, lobster salad and oysters to start. For entrees we had the Sea-bass and lamb chops with truffle fries. We loved everything except for the lobster salad and the truffle fries. The lobster salad was just chunks of lobster thrown over bib lettuce. It didn’t look very appealing and in my opinion was not worth the price. The truffle fries were also disappointing. They were very salty and covered in oil. However, all of the other items we ordered were delicious!
The service was great! From the moment we walked in we we treated very well. Also the music they played was awesome! We would def return and we recommend. If you do end up going just avoid ordering the lobster salad and the truffle fries.
I had dinner with friends that I had not seen in over 5 years. The food was outstanding and our waiter explained our appetizer selections as well as our entrees. A question arose regarding the olive oil and bread at the beginning. Without batting an eye, it was explained in detail. Very thorough and very professional. All in all, it was a wonderful evening and I would definitely come back as well as recommend the Fig and Olive to anyone interested in fine dining in a laid back atmosphere.
Wish that I ćould give it 6 stars instead of only 5
Fantastic service and food
This is such a beautifully decorated restaurant. I would imagine it gets busy for dinner, but lunch is a lovely way to conduct a business meeting or friendly lunch and enjoy the ambiance. The food is all fresh and creative.
Lovely lovely experience!!! Will be back!
I have never had a bad meal at Fig and Olive! Whether it’s at the 52nd street location, or Meatpacking, the food and service is outstanding! My filet mignon came out piping hot and cooked to perfection. My server was outstanding. Very friendly.
Great food coupled with a great ambience and fantastic service! We will be back
Thoroughly impressed with the vibe, quality of food and pairing of wine with our meal! Diego was great and we can’t wait to come back again!!!
Food was nothing special. Descriptions were more appealing than the actual food. Pretty ordinary. Ambiance was great-lots of interesting spaces and well laid out. Nice vibe.
Lovedddd this spot - clean, delish, loved the vibe for lunch or brunch option. Bravo! Would definitely return.
Very trendy and cute!
We had a great dinner. We LOVED our waiter Tony. He explained the menu options and made all the right suggestions.
Open, airy, contemporary & spacious feeling. The service was excellent! The food was very good with nice selection.
Fig and Olive is always a favorite for Sunday brunch!
Food was amazing. Waiter was so kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
My boyfriend and I went for an anniversary and it was lovely. There was a party going on, so they sat us in a quieter section and even brought us champagne. The meal was amazing. Would highly recommend the crostinis! We’ll definitely dine here again
I will always recommend this restaurant!
The gentleman at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. He even gave us a phone charger. We love this location.
We were seated after 25 minutes of our reservation. Hosts were clueless, lost and confused. It was a downer for our Anniversary dinner. Otherwise the food was good. Drinkers were ok (I think it needs revamp as some drinks Tate’s like lime juice).
We enjoyed the Mushroom Croquette and lamp chops were delicious.
A bit too noisy and food turn around could have been quicker. Portion size did not equal price.
The minute you walk into the restaurant, you are introduced to such beauty of the decor. Service was excellent, the food and drinks were top notch and the atmosphere was relaxing. I will most definitely come back again and again.
We had a lovely dinner but food and service could be better for the money.
Very spacious inside. This location is not as noisy as their mid Town location. I feel the food quality has come down compared to my past experiences at fig and olive. The server was helpful, but always seemed in a rush.
The crostjnis are always good. Best to try a variety. Salmon was good as was the mushroom rigatoni.
Food as always is right on the spot; innovative, tasty and nicely presented. Bass was done to perfection, cauliflower crispy and nicely seasoned, scallops were tender and sweet and finally the desert sampler just the right size and variety. All in a beautiful space where one can actually talk.
The only disappointment was a problem with my Open Table rewards which they declined because of their mistake (fixed by Open Table later). Also, good selection of wines but no craft beers.
Otherwise a great experience as always and I have been a frequent flyer at F&O
Everything I expected! A gem in the Meatpacking district.
Overrated food. Not great value for money. Bland taste overall. But thought the service was good, contrary to other comments.
Brought my staff here for dinner. The food was very good. I love the attention detail, and presentation. There was a jazz band playing great music. This is a good spot for a romantic evening, dinner with friends, business dinner. I love that each area in the restaurant has a different look and food.
We’ve been here multiple times and this was probably our last. Service was horrid.
Delicious food. Great service. Interesting ambiance. I ll definitely be back.
I went for dinner during restaurant week and ordered from the prefix menu. I was pleasantly surprised that the portion sizes were regular size, and satisfying. I’ve had prefix meals in the past, elsewhere that were completely skimpy and left me hungry after leaving the restaurant.
I ordered the salad, chicken, cheesecake, truly filling and delicious.
Will definitely be coming to Fig & Olive!!!!!
Waiter took 10 mins to greet us, drinks took too long, didn’t check in after main was served. Nobody at my table was impressed.
Great place! Great food! Good service
Food very good with especially outstanding appetizers.
Jazz band too loud making conversation difficult
The food which we usually love was disappointing. Very ordinary. None of the usual marvelous flavors we recall. Live music was ear shattering in decibels. Service was uneven.
Wonderful food and wonderful service every time!!
I love this restaurant. It is spacious, yet quiet enough for conversation, food is fabulous, service very attentive and solicitous without being obtrusive, ambiance is pleasant. Last time, we were allowed to linger for hours after lunch. In short, nothing negative. I've already visited three times in the last three weeks and plan to return again and again.
Was great, thank you for the best birthday lunch . We had a good time .
