My friend and I sat at the bat during happy hour. We had the crostini, truffle fries and paella noir. The crostini and fries were great! The paella noir was ok but could be better. The ambience was great and not very noisy. The bartender was very attentive too. A wonderful experience overall.
Our server East at the bar was wonderful. He was engaging, attentive and knowledgeable. By far some of the best service I have ever had.
Enjoyed this place, big room and full.
Wine was expensive at $18 per glass of white.
Service was not great to begin, ignored for a while, but the server got friendlier as evening went on and she wasn’t as busy.
Overall l, I would go again, good location.
nice place and good food as usual.
I didn't like the service, tight table in a small area. Too pushing and too stressing in ordering.
I understand it was Saturday , but we are still clients. they gave us the feeling they want us just to order food and wine ( 3 bottles of wine ) and go.
I found the food to be a bit under seasoned and I expected it to be much more exemplary for the price. If it was a cheaper place I’d have found the food ok - but I was expecting excellence.
Waited 1.5 hours for food, which came out wrong on three different orders. They only took off two of the dishes and offered nothing else in return. Extremely disappointing food and service. When food came out finally it was tasteless and over cooked.
Very noisy place. Food choice is very limited on entrees.
Food was good but nothing really surprising vs other restaurants. Didn’t get what’s your special thing.
Love love love it there!!!
Beautiful atmosphere. Great food. Music was a little loud! Truly enjoyed ourselves. Brought another couple. We will all be back!
Get the trio of crostinis for an app!
We had the fig and olive salad! Yum!
Also, the salmon burger w a side salad and matchstick fries! awesome.
Fantastic place. Even in the cold weather! (Last time I was there it was summer weather)
Great food and good atmosphere. A nice setting for a large group. Easy to hold a conversation.
The food was amazing and great teamwork on the service. I would recommend the whole fish. The mushroom pasta was second to none and easily was on par with any fine Italian pasta around.
They kept the doors open so we were freezing. The music was so loud we couldn’t talk. The waitress was disinterested in fulfilling basic requests like salt and pepper. My wine came out in a dirty glass.
We have been to this Fig & Olive many times in the past. We won’t be going back.
We always enjoy the food here. If you love Mediterranean style food, you can’t do better than this restaurant. The Meatpacking District location is open and airy compared to midtown. We appreciated the jazz brunch on Sunday and the saxophonist was excellent.
Very good food and service, a bit too loud for conversation. A good unique menu.
Delicious, creative, fun, wonderful ambience. Elegant crostini. Fabulous lobster ravioli. Generous portions.
Enjoyed the food. It was just noisy,. It was very busy,
Great food and table service, however we were not seated at our reservation time, we were seated approximately 30 minutes late.
Sabrina took care of us
She was amazing, making sure we were having a good experience
We will come back!
Wonderful! Enjoyed a perfect lunch great Rose sangria along with an amazing salad!
Fig & Olive never disappoints! Great for business meetings, friend and family or date night!
Always a wonderful experience at Fig & Olive! From the mouth-watering focaccia with balsamic and olive oil to start, to the delicious hand-crafted unique cocktails and perfectly portioned appetizers and entrees, you can't go wrong with this restaurant. We shared three crostini that were elegantly presented and full of flavor. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and gave excellent recommendations on the cocktail list. Overall, a fantastic meal and experience.
Enjoyed a wonderful brunch. Great cocktails and good selection of wines. Space is great.
Inventive and delicious salads, crostini and light bites - a real reliable favourite
Enjoyed the ambiance, decor and of course the food. Great spot near the High Line.
Good lunch, consistent good service, nice decor!
But no Open Table points for our dining?
I was so disappointed with this last visit. The drinks were overly tart. The service sucked for an empty restaurant.
Very nice restaurant, nicely decorated. Delicious food. Very good service. Food at the right temperature.
Came here on a whim, was totally worth it. Food is very good, a bit pricey but worth it. We opted to sit at the bar because Chauncey the bartender told us it was faster and he was definitely correct. I let Chauncey concoct random cocktails for us all night, the basil smash is amazing.
Great food as always at Fig & Olive and the service was great, we were sat next to the waiters station which was a bit distracting, but love the ambience and fun atmosphere. The Cosmopolitans we wonderful too !
Great food and ambiance, but terrible service both from staff and from the kitchen. Our waitress barely checked on us, and really should have because the appetizer we ordered never came out. (It finally came out at the end of the meal after asking for it twice.) We also asked questions about a couple items in the menu and were given the wrong info.
No one at host/reception when we walked in, had to go find someone. Waitstaff seemed wildly disorganized and confused. Someone other than our waitperson took order, didn’t write it down and didn’t put it in as we watched other tables who arrived later than us sit and receive their food. Food was excellent when it arrived, service was horrible, place seemed really disorganized.
I love you guys, but my out-of-town friends hated the noise level! We had to scream and still could barely hear each other.
This is my go-to in NYC. I love the crostini appetizers and I've never had a bad entree. The ambience is amazing, the staff are extremely professional and everyone I bring leaves very happy.
Fig and Olive is our "go to" restaurant for entertaining out-of-town guests. This was our first visit to the Meatpacking District location. We found the food to be excellent and suitable for every taste.
Tasty food and lovely jazz trio. we especially enjoyed the wild mushroom rigatoni and the burrata with squash.
Unfortunately it was rather cold in the restaurant and prices are pretty steep.
We had a nice table with a full view of the restaurant and bar. The service was attentive and professional. The noise level was surprisingly good; despite a full restaurant and live music, we were still able to have a conversation. The food choices were good and everything was well plated and tasty. Would recommend for lunch or brunch.
We were 5 people meeting together after museum. We had reservations.
Food was not very good. Our friends were not
That pleased with food. My paella dish was a waste. Dry small one scallop two small clams and 3 dry shrimp on bed of dry squid rice. Prices are not cheap. Not getting value.
Great! Everything was perfect.
We live close by in the neighborhood. It's a favorite. It's always hard to choose what to eat--everything is so yummy. The presentation is beautiful and also ample. And the staff are wonderful. A perfect setting for a truly perfect dining experience.
