The ambience was beautiful and staff very attentive and friendly. The menu had great selections for vegetarians and everything we ordered was presented beautifully with lots of flavor and taste . The portions were adequate and filling . Great wine selections as well we will definitely come back
I brought my boyfriend there for his birthday. I have been one other time, but it was his first. We arrived early for our reservation and we were seated right away. Our waiter and the staff were extremely attentive without being pushy or hovering over us. They all took into account my dairy allergy and provided me with the proper information for my order. For the special occasion, they brought out a dessert platter on the house and even took the dairy allergy into consideration as well. All in all, we had a lovely experience and can’t wait to come back!!
Great service and food for a late Sunday lunch sat at the bar.
Cozy place with a good jazz playing. The food is good, but nothing beyond that. Would I go again? Yes!
The bus boy and server lady kept hovering around our table, trying to take away the dishes even when we were still eating. There constant intrusion made the experience annoying. We felt super rushed even though it was not that crowded at the time. Wish they could be more polite and give people time to enjoy their meals and have conversation. Food was good, small portions though. Ambiance was great.
Such a great experience here from the moment I walked in! Can’t wait to go back
Loved it! Had the 3 crostini’s but next time I’ll get more!! The potato leek soup was amazing.
The ambiance at this Fig and Olive was nice. It was not crowded the day we had lunch. The food was good but the day we dined there the service was really not good. No one came back after our initial order to see if we wanted something, which we did. We had to flag someone down to add to our order or get something for the table. We were really disappointed in this aspect of the restaurant.
Everything was outstanding, everything !!
Great food and service - very good wine list also.
Honestly, we were taken in on time for a late lunch at 3:30.
The restaurant was very quiet. Some tables and some people at the bar.
We waited a long time for someone to come and take our drink order and waited even longer for our drinks.
The food came out and we were eating before the cocktails came out.
I think the bartender was distracted or uninterested and I think our server was very busy talking in the back.
Food is great. The service needs a lot of work. Timing is everything in a lovely restaurant like Fig and Olive.
I have been to Fig and Olive in Chicago and the service and food is amazing.
Outstanding, delicious food, beautiful restaurant, and the service was beyond any expectation, our server Noli was simply amazing, highly recommend :)
We had a fabulous meal. It began with cocktails and Crostini. Three came from the main selection and three were the Chef's selection. My husband had the Riviera Salmon, my son had the Balsamic Glazed Short Rib, and I have the Paella Noir, which was out of this world. All three of us were extremely happy with our choices. We finished up sharing the Fig and Olive tasting for dessert. Perfect ending.
Our server was fantastic. And we were in a wonderful side room that was very quiet and cozy.
The service was wonderful!! Great drinks and crostini!
Amazing food! Great service. I went three times in four days, including Sunday brunch.
The food and DJ was amazing.
There was a DJ and the music was very loud. I asked for a quieter table and was told the music is piped throughout the restaurant. Apparently others complained because it was turned down, but minutes later the DJ incrementally increased the volume. It was a very Sex and the City vibe in there, if you’re into that. Aside from that, the “Mosaic of Vegetables” appetizer was beautiful and delicious. I had it as an entree with the potato leek soup.
Had such a wonderful experience. The space is beautiful. The food and staff were outstanding. Highly recommend.
We had the three course menu, it was perfect! The service was good, the place lovely, I would definitely go again!
We loved the atmosphere, the decoration with the wall of wine bottles and the band that was playing this night. When it is cold outside, it is certainly a place of warmth and confort.
Some waitresses spoke french, good for us, welcoming was very nice.
The food was excellent: black paella, truffle risotto, though I would have expected the plates to be bigger. The olive oil tasting was very interesting.
A good night out, not to noisy so we could easily talk.
Will come again.
While no one was in the restaurant the waiter spent more time training another waiter than serving our table. My seat was to the back of the room and it rocked each time someone walked by. Food was delicious but overall not a great experience
Service was overwhelming ; we barely had the chance to relax and have conversation over lunch
Lovely Ambiance, impeccable service. Live Jazz was great! Staff was friendly, helpful and offered service with a smile. Brunch menu offered reasonable variety. Highly recommend for brunch.
Great food, service and ambiance !
Hostess was rude upon arrival. Food service was way too fast- we got our good before our drinks and the busser tried taking away our plates before we were even done. The food was very subpar and very overpriced. Cocktails weren't good and the wine selection was poor. I remembered this place being good back when it opened, but it has clearly gone downhill. It's too bad.

Since our last visit, they installed a glass wall which SIGNIFICANTLY helped with the noise. This visit was much more pleasant for conversation. The food was outstanding. We will definitely return.
Amazing food and service! One of my favorite restaurants for dates.
We had a wonderful time at your restaurant. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was so appealing. We would recommend eating there to everyone!
Great food and ambiance. Music was loud. Waiter rushed us a bit.
Food fantastic service in the bar area.....the worst I have ever experienced
Our favorite date night spot in the Meatpacking District. And an AOC sighting too! Thanks for another five star night of perfect courses, invisible service, and a feeling of extended family from everyone at Fig & Olive.
We had a reservation at 2:00 pm. We arrived around 1:55 pm and waited in the reception area. At around 2:05 another group of 3 arrived and were immediately seated. At 2:15 another group of 3 arrived and were seated a couple of minutes later. We were seated a couple of minutes later. The food was at best mediocre. Service was just ok. Very busy and loud atmosphere. I will not go back. Not recommended.
We were sat late for a reservation, it took 10 to 15 minutes before we even got water and an hour later before we got food
Lovely jazz brunch on a Sunday
Great everything! Every Sunday they have a live jazz duo at this location and their music is great...but the food is ALWAYS fantastic, varied and super yummy
Great service, ambiance and food was amazing! Had a wonderful girls night out.
I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. We waited a while to be seated; however, the staff was very welcoming and offered us complimentary champagne. There was a DJ which added to the overall vibe of the location. The short ribs were slightly on the salty side but generous in portion. The paella was spicy and the portion was minimal. The food was flavorful but not necessarily my preference. The lobster risotto was delicious; probably the best plate ordered. The Rosé sangria was delightly sweet; just how I like my drinks.
