Food was good. Had a nice selection of crostini’s. Carrot and ginger soup was so-so -a little bland. We sat outside which was a mistake because the valet park was right beside us.
Great service by Max
Excellent experience. Fantastic service by Jorge and by the hostess. Food was outstanding for the most part and creative.
Food a bit expensive!
Excellent food. That night we had very poor service. Had to ask for the check 3 times!!!
5 star everything! Our server Brian was excellent.
Food was outstanding and it’s a beautiful place.
Great place for lunch. Got their around 1130am on a Sunday so was able to self park in the parking lot out front. By the time I left though the parking lot was full and only valet spots available. I had the seafood paella and it was delicious but a much smaller portion than I was expecting for $32. The waiter was attentive. They had a changing room for my baby in the women’s bathroom. It’s hidden in the last stall though so you may have to wait to use it if someone is in that stall. There is a cute boxwood wall on the patio that serves as a good photo op!
Food was ok, nothing special, overpriced, will not return
The food is good and the ambience is good. Not a good value for the money. Slow service.
Very mundane is all I can think of to describe this place.
Beautiful location. There was a DJ so the place also felt like a night club. Drinks were good, service was great and everyone enjoyed their food.
Quite pricy for what you get
Beautiful restaurant with excellent staff and food. I will definitely go back.
The people and the food are amazing! Great management team!
Entree was good but I felt the service was really poor. Dirty entree plates left on the table for 15 min.. no clean... no one checking on us...
Every time they brought food .. never knew who got what...
Had the sorbet for dessert.. like bland ice.
Disappointed but pretty place. Won’t go back. Too many choices in Houston.
This was our first time at Fig & Olive, and it was just such and excellent choice for brunch. Outstanding service and wonderfully delicious food, light music playing in the background. It was fun. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back multiple times.
Very good birthday family diner
Great food great atmosphere and fantastic waiter!
Lovely time. The food and service were excellent and the band was very good. Great time.
We were caught off guard when we realized the restaurant was located in the mall. But upon walking in, we found the Thursday night band strumming to upbeat light relaxing music that made you forget where you were.
Greeted with smiles even when we were late for our reservations and seated at a clean crisp linen table . The waiter stopped, introduced himself as well as the GM who was walking around checking tables and service.
We were given the Restaurant week menu along with the regular one. Scanning them both I was overwhelmed with which one to order from. But since it is restaurant week, why not.
Started with the trio of their olive oils and fresh baked bread. Yum!
We ordered Tuna tartare, gazpacho soup, Salmon and mussels were all fabulous and perfectly tasty.
What I was very impressed was with no rush serving. They asked if we were ready for our next course before bringing it out. Our wine stayed perfectly chilled on ice thought our dinner.
Looking forward to getting back and trying many of the other dishes that read like a melted butter on perfectly toasted bread! You just want to eat it all up!
Early birthday dinner and to sum it all up, if we could like the plate we would. Everything was delicious. We will be back.
Waitress very accommodating, but the kitchen turned out food so slowly that it took us hours to finish our meal. One diabetic person started having problems because the food wasn’t coming. Ran out of the dessert that half our party ordered, although the chef was very nice and made a special dessert for us.We were then accidentally overcharged $40 per couple—-manager came and made it good, Took a long time. Also women’s restroom was not clean – don’t expect that in a restaurant at this level.
Went for brunch and was very satisfied!
awesome food. will definitely return. Also bought their own olive oil. I wished I bought more. I appreciate the fact that they don't sales talk you about what they're selling. It's just so good that makes you curious where it came from or what those bottles displayed are.
Houston restaurant week tradition!
Really good food - definitely coming here again. The ambience was very good as well
Our waiter was wonderful. The food was great and I will return. It was my first time but it will not be my last. Thank u
I tried their HRW dinner. Our server was Mag, and he was amazing. He made our dining experience just much better! Only thing made us little disappointed was they were out of two entrees off from their five entree options. And couple of food came out little cold and very blend. Maybe we should just come back for regular dinner next time.
Food was good - we did the restaurant week menu. Presentation on the steak could have used some work but flavors were good and service was excellent. We were sat in the "quiet room" which was nice but somewhat awkward
First time visit and had the Restaurant Weeks lunch gazpacho and Fig and Olive salad. The soup was perfect! Very flavorful and not too spicy. Salad was also very good. Since it was a special occasion, we splurged and shared the cheesecake with cherries. It not overly sweet. Just how I like it. Can’t wait to go back and try something else.
The place is nice but that's about it, food is edible...
For bottle sparkling water paid $9,- . Too much interference from overfriendly staff during the course of a 1 hour lunch.
Great food! Great service!
Excellent food and service. Really enjoyed it. Will be back for sure.
Service was slow and failed to remove used plates. Had to ask for help several times.
Our service was very slow, but our server was attentive overall. Our drinks came out almost 20 minutes after being seated. It was a late brunch seating the restaurant wasn’t busy and food came out very cold.
Great service and food. Contemporary pleasant decoration, with european flare.
The service at this restaurant was probably the worst I have seen in a long time. From the hostess to the waiter, no one was interested in actually serving the patrons. Food was actually pretty good but the experience was so awful that I won’t be back.
The food was fine. I'm the oils and bread brought to the table was nice. The service was good.
