Been here a few times for lunch - first time for dinner and definitely not the last
Celebrated our co-worker’s birthday during lunch here. It was great! My only note is that the server was a little quick to judge on what we were ordering and assumed just the salad, soup of the day, and crostini’s was the meal, picked up menus and offered us dessert. On the other hand, Food was very good and presentation was beautiful once we did have our entrees ordered and served. We ordered Chicken Tajine and the Traditional Burger after having their side salad, carrot-ginger soup and crostini (forest mushroom, beef tartare, burratta). Server brought out complimentary dessert for the birthday girl! The chocolate mousse like cake was very decadent yet light and was a sweet ending to the birthday lunch. Overall a great experience and would come back.
Try the filet mignon entrée topped with scallops and shrimp. You won’t be sorry.
We celebrated our friend’s bday party and we had a blast! Jarmone was very attentive and all his suggestions were right on target. It was a great meal from appetizers to the dessert. We will definitely be back soon.
We celebrated new year eve . Ordered beef carpaccio, foie gras, the famous crostini and whole fish! Loved everything. Great ambience. Fog and olive is my most favored restaurant right now!
Would have preferred to know we were expected to leave before midnight because of the time. When we made the reservation, we weren’t told, and they made it sound like if you reserved, you got to stay for a party, which was never really produced. We did get to stay, but the fact they rushed us through the meal took away from the enjoyment. They said this is a French restaurant, and no self-respecting French person would fly through a holiday meal in an hour. My ex and all his family are French. I lived there for more than a decade. If you’re going to put yourself out as a French place, which is what I searched for when it came up, then you can’t rush meals. It just doesn’t happen.
Thanks for the amazing service and being so nice about taking our picture by the beautiful flower wall. Can’t wait to come back here again!
Great atmosphere! Cute & romantic
Great place! Good food - cool atmosphere - super service.
Ambience , food and service and music combined to create a fabulous experience.
We ordered crostini, beef tartar, fish entree, apple tart as dessert. Enjoyed everything !
Amazing place for Lunch and have a break from shopping or intentionally enjoy good service; great to have a meeting or long meal with friends.
We were at a table by the door on a cold night so every time it opened we froze- asked to move but couldn’t.
Everything was perfect thank you
Very good and the food is delish!
Incredible atmosphere. Incredible food.
We were celebrating my dad’s birthday, my mom had ordered a soup that was never brought. We ordered a side Parmesan rissotto for my filet mignon, and they brought us a main dish Kobacha risotto. For deserts, we ask for a candle for the birthday boy, and it did not happen. All in, worst dinner at fig and olive in years
Love fig and Olive! Always my fav!!!! 💯💯💯
Service manager Jose GONZALEZ wooow
Brian, waterer Wowwwww
The meal was very tastie. However my husband and I both ordered the truffle fries. We got them in a white bowl his was twice as much as mine. Spilling over the top mine was considerably smaller potion. There was spiders crawling around the back of me. My husbands seat was dirty with crumbs. I thought there would be live music like everyother time but no. My fault I should have phone ahead before I made the reservations. I asked the guy who brought our food for balsamic vinegar and he never returned . Not j. I got my cheese cake to go. I was told that you guys didn’t have spoons ( I couldn’t imagine that) overall I do love the place and have a number of friends who visit often. I will be back.
Food was good. Had a nice selection of crostini’s. Carrot and ginger soup was so-so -a little bland. We sat outside which was a mistake because the valet park was right beside us.
Great service by Max
Excellent experience. Fantastic service by Jorge and by the hostess. Food was outstanding for the most part and creative.
Food a bit expensive!
Excellent food. That night we had very poor service. Had to ask for the check 3 times!!!
5 star everything! Our server Brian was excellent.
Food was outstanding and it’s a beautiful place.
Great place for lunch. Got their around 1130am on a Sunday so was able to self park in the parking lot out front. By the time I left though the parking lot was full and only valet spots available. I had the seafood paella and it was delicious but a much smaller portion than I was expecting for $32. The waiter was attentive. They had a changing room for my baby in the women’s bathroom. It’s hidden in the last stall though so you may have to wait to use it if someone is in that stall. There is a cute boxwood wall on the patio that serves as a good photo op!
Food was ok, nothing special, overpriced, will not return
The food is good and the ambience is good. Not a good value for the money. Slow service.
Very mundane is all I can think of to describe this place.
Beautiful location. There was a DJ so the place also felt like a night club. Drinks were good, service was great and everyone enjoyed their food.
Quite pricy for what you get
Beautiful restaurant with excellent staff and food. I will definitely go back.
The people and the food are amazing! Great management team!
Entree was good but I felt the service was really poor. Dirty entree plates left on the table for 15 min.. no clean... no one checking on us...
Every time they brought food .. never knew who got what...
Had the sorbet for dessert.. like bland ice.
Disappointed but pretty place. Won’t go back. Too many choices in Houston.
Very nice place. Food was delicious and presentation was outstanding. Loved the ambiance.
This was our first time at Fig & Olive, and it was just such and excellent choice for brunch. Outstanding service and wonderfully delicious food, light music playing in the background. It was fun. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back multiple times.
Very good birthday family diner
Great food great atmosphere and fantastic waiter!
Lovely time. The food and service were excellent and the band was very good. Great time.
We were caught off guard when we realized the restaurant was located in the mall. But upon walking in, we found the Thursday night band strumming to upbeat light relaxing music that made you forget where you were.
Greeted with smiles even when we were late for our reservations and seated at a clean crisp linen table . The waiter stopped, introduced himself as well as the GM who was walking around checking tables and service.
We were given the Restaurant week menu along with the regular one. Scanning them both I was overwhelmed with which one to order from. But since it is restaurant week, why not.
Started with the trio of their olive oils and fresh baked bread. Yum!
We ordered Tuna tartare, gazpacho soup, Salmon and mussels were all fabulous and perfectly tasty.
What I was very impressed was with no rush serving. They asked if we were ready for our next course before bringing it out. Our wine stayed perfectly chilled on ice thought our dinner.
Looking forward to getting back and trying many of the other dishes that read like a melted butter on perfectly toasted bread! You just want to eat it all up!
