Overall very good. Our clients enjoyed the experience provided by the restaurant.
Excellent meal with good portion sizes.
Took my family to dinner on a Sunday. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They came out with complimentary bread and oil, which was a nice surprise. We ordered the scallops as an appetizer to share and they came out perfectly cooked. We all ordered individual salads. I got the shrimp and salmon and my mom and aunt got the Fig and Olive salad. Both were well portioned, entree sized salads. The side order of roasted carrots was also well portioned and very good. The restaurant atmosphere is nice. Feels fancy without being overly done. It's a great place to go to for family occasions or business meals. I would definitely go again.
The food is ok but the service is too fast , rushing with approximation and mistakes
I will not go back
Had reservations for 5 but had 2 people bailed last minute. So we sat at the bar and had dinner. Juan and Ivan were awesome! They made great cocktails, were really on top of things, and made great menu suggestions. Loved the jamon iberico. The crostini were really good, as were the mushroom croquettes. Drank some very nice cava with our food. Will definitely go back next time we’re in the city.
Fig and Olive is by far my favorite restaurant. Every cocktail is beautifully constructed, the food is unique and fresh, and the service is top notch. I would highly recommend to anyone!
Food and ambience were perfect. Service was a little spotty.
The food was tasty. The service and server attentive and professional. It was a bit too noisy and frenetic for us. Not relaxing at all. Entrees were on the small side but tasty. Overall, food was good but with so many great places to eat in NYC, it doesnt really stand out for me.
The food is outstanding and has improved over the years. We had the crostini appetizer that was beyond terrific! Main course pasta dish was also superlative.
Most importantly the waiter (Italian-American) was exceptional!
Excellent service . The food was great and the staff very attentive.
Everything was perfect
The food was great. Very good service. I will definitely return the next time I visit NYC and would recommend.
Although I thought the food was very tasty, 3 people out 7 (including my husband and I) got sick with the food. I really can’t tell what was that got us sick as e everything seem to have great taste and texture. It was really unfortunate.
Phenomenal experience ! Server Jennifer absolutely outstanding at creating hospitality experience. The chef’s culinary experience was beyond expectations with every bite !
Food , drinks and service were great!
Amazing as always! That’s why Fig and Olive is my favorite restaurant in NY. Thank you so much for the delicious meal, the great complimentary treats and outstanding service! We had an wonderful dinner!
I am back very soon! Compliments to the chef!
Order the lamb chops!
It was perfectly fine for the business occasion.
Outstanding food and delicious wine. Overall great place for lunch
appetizers great...hamachi, zucchini carpaccio, scallops yummy...main dish of branzino and paella totally average...bummed
Birthday- very nice!
We had to wait to be seated, even with our reservation, and the place was pretty empty. We did 4 sharing courses, cauliflower and mushroom croquettes were very good. Scallops and Brussels sprouts we only OK. Pretty expensive for OK food. Ate at the Fig and Olive in DC and we enjoyed our entrees.
Our first visit, but surely not our last. Pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, very good food. I had the chicken club. I was surprised to see that it came with a generous serving of roasted potatoes and lovely green salad.
The food was delicious, the portion sizes were very generous which, made the prices worth it. A little disappointed by the lack of GF substitutions on the menu especially if half of the "notable" app choices are crustini's. Also, we were seated by the front door so, we didn't get a feel for the ambiance of the restaurant or know what the dining area looked like. When dining out, I want the whole experience so all in all, a little disappointed.
We both had appetizers (carrot soup and scallops) and entrees (Branzino) as well as a dessert. Everything was cooked and prepared perfectly, especially the Branzino. I've been here a few times and I've always been happy with my meals, but this meal was probably the best. The staff even went above and beyond the call of duty when they called me to let me know that I left something behind. I really appreciate their honesty.
Innovative & delicious crostini & salads, in addition to more substantial plates, make this a great spot for a light meal, great for sharing.
Five friends with different nutritional needs and tastes could all find something to enjoy on this menu. Food was excellent. Wait staff could use a little polishing up. Don't just throw the wonderful bread and three olive oils on the table without some explanation. If the wait staff shows little enthusiasm, the diners won't appreciate what they have been given.
Great service yummy food consistently good place for special lunch or brunch
Fantastic please to celebrate a friend’s birthday!!
Outstanding food and excellent service. A bit pricey but it was worth it.
Great midtown location for a casual get together with friends.
Convenient mid town stand by. Decent food but very loud. Still good and convenient for a meeting
Sat us late despite rez but sent us app to make up for it.
Dishes are inconsistent and quality depends on night.
A person in our party couldn’t join so they asked us to switch tables to one with an extender so that they could free up an extra table (literally one more person). The squished 5 of us at a smaller table and then proceeded to sit a party of 5 at the table they asked us to vacate. Felt rushed and like they wanted us to leave the minute dinner was over. Waitress immediately dropped the check and they kept Coming back to check on whether or not we put our cards down.
Food was okay.
Good place for lunch, nice menu with good salads. A little bit noisy
Food not impressive but still expensive. Made mistake with entree order and no apology or compensation.
Everything was wonderful!!!! The Octopus Carpaccio was our favorite!!!
Favorite lunch in midtown
Amazing from start to finish!
