My 5:00 PM reservation on 4/13/18 was cancelled due to a gas leak, however not one person from Fig & Olive reached out to inform me of this on the day (and they had all day as a friend who went there for lunch informed me of them being closed as of 1:00 PM on 4/13/18). It’s now Monday 4/16/18 and I received an email from Open Table asking me to give a review of my experience. This far it’s going to take a hell of a gesture from Fig & Olive to get me in there again. So disappointed at such an egregious oversight, not a text, not an email, no follow up. How do you close for the day and not reach out to those who booked time there. Unreal.
Place is very nice inside. Waiter was very pleasant and efficient great experience
Great location, ambience and food was amazing. Highly recommended.
Loved our meals, nice ambiance, friendly staff. we will return.
Way too loud, could not hear my guests talk,
Food was good but not great. Service was solid overall. It’s a bit pricey for the food provided even for New York.
The best part of the restaurant is the extensive menu options for vegetarians.
Went on a relaxed early weeknight. Took forever to get the server’s attention, while the table next to us that was seated much later was being checked in on much more often. Ended up having to send three reminders just for the drink (wine, not even a cocktail). Decent meal, poor service.
Delicious food and great service. Our waiter was really understanding and accommodating to our food allergies.
Wonderful birthday meal. Our waiter Brandon was the best. Great suggestions, wonderful selection, perfect timing.
Four friends and I had dinner after a Broadway Show. Food from appetizers to dessert was great. Wine Wonderful. Staff very helpful, attentive and courteous. We would return.

Great atmosphere, impressive wine selection, and ludicrously delicious food.
The food is excellent, and the service is on par. The only issue I have is that some of the table arrangements are too close to allow for private conversation.
Amazing food and service and fig and Olive 5 ave
Love Fig and Olive for brunch, afternoon and dinner. Great to stop in for lunch in the middle of a busy shopping day!
It took a while for the waiter to wait on us and get us what we needed as well as give the check. The food was alright. Not as flavorful as I thought .
Waitress Fabricio took very good care of us. I did recommend this restaurant
Food was good without being exceptionnal but attentive but friendly service and nice atmosphere made it a great experience.
This was a farewell dinner with a friend and wanted it to feel special but the overall experience was just fair.
The food was disappointing, the crostinis were good but the mains were quite subpar. The service was average at best. Definitely would not go back.
Food and service was great. A fun atmosphere. We were seated on time on a very busy night. Thank you very much.
Good ambience
This place is great! Wherever they have a restaurant it is always a great experience! Crostinis are amazing! Carpaccio di Manzo is great! The carrots and ginger soup is spectacular! For dinner two appetizers is a great plan! Highly recommended!
The bartenders were extremely friendly and helpful with our drinks. The food was delicious. We didn't even ask and they brought out a special desert for our daughter's birthday. It was a lot of fun and food was very good! Definitely would go back.
Creative menu. Above average but not exceptional.
Great food. Nice and quiet place. Friendly personnel.
I enjoyed a delicious chicken tagine and excellent service in an attractive setting. While not inexpensive, it was reasonably priced for good food in a prime midtown location.
This is the second time I've eaten here and the food is simply delicious. I had the paella which was a standout. Other people at my table enjoyed the shrimp fettuccine and we all liked the crostini and the tasting dessert plate. I recommend it with no caveats.
Easter brunch. My husband’s pasta dish was cold and just not an interesting flavor. Similarly, my dish was just OK. Best bets-dessert and the crostinis.
I liked. The food was good ( I ate branzino ) , and the price it was reasonable , aroun $45 per person. I recommend
It was great. Really appreciated the service. Thank you.
A lovely meal in a beautiful setting. Service was terrific, too!
Sat next to kitchen so it was loud and bustling, Staff were only so so on friendliness. Maybe I’m not used to nyc, that could be it.
Great ambiance and the restaurant is elegant. The noise level can get a little loud, but low enough to have great conversation.”
The food was fine but the service was outstanding!
We went to Fig & Olive for our 1 year anniversary, and the meal was fantastic. The crostinis were incredible, as were our mains. Cocktails were well made, and tasty. Service was really good, and they brought my girlfriend a dessert to celebrate. Will definitely head back.
This is our favorite pre-show location. Fantastic food with a great atmosphere.
My mom and I had salads. The ingredients were very fresh. Service was fast. An overall enjoyable lunch.
My son and my birthday
The food was fine, it just took over two hours after we sat down for the food to come. The place was full, and service was very, very, very slow. Even after we ordered it was an hour and a half until we saw our food. They forgot an appetizer (that was to be served as a main), and by the time food was served, we just cancelled that appetizer. I would possibly go back there at an odd hour, but not for a 7:30 dinner. We had to wait for a table for a long time even though we had a reservation. Everything about the place was too slow, and noisy. It is hard to have a conversation...and what else can you do if you are waiting over two hours?
Great food! Great wine! Just not a fan of being rushed by the wait staff. Either way, I’m excited to go back.
This was my first time going to this restaurant. I would definitely go back again. Their signature crostini was delicious. For the main course both my mother and daughter got the salamon. It was flavorful and well cooked. I ordered the squash risotto. The risotto was well prepared and tasty. The only critique was that it was a very large portion. The dessert was the cherry crostini. It was the right amount of sweetness.
We have eaten at several Fig & Olives. Food is consistently good. What made this night so special was our server, Michael, who was truly exceptional!
