Lamb chops were amazing! Everything was delicious and the waiters are so nice and friendly! Can’t wait to go back.
We enjoyed a Sunday brunch at this restaurant. The service was excellent. Our server knew the menu and made excellent recommendations. I have already told other friends about our experience. We will return!
Food was great! Service was rushed. Drinks took too long, came after appetizers. We were sat in a family/kids section even though, it was my wife and I without any kids.
Nice food and ambience.
Limited vegetarian choices though
Everyone was great in accommodating special needs
For our team
The food was delicious and the waitstaff was great!
This place was quite good. The food came out fast, the sangria was amazing, our waiter was wonderful. The timing was a bit rushed. Bread came immediately before dinner so didn’t really get to partake but the food was delicious. I’ll be back.
Great place to be. Good was exceptional and the atmosphere was great!
The bruschetta was scrumptious! We had several different types for sharing- good for a light afternoon tasting or pre dinner appetizer. Highly. Recommended.
We loved the crostinnis, the tuna and the Chilean sea bass. Great flavors! Very happy with the choice.
Perfect for a lunch welcoming our new team member
Great food. Stephon the best server in town.
Food was cold and greasy... bread was not warm as usually... the waiter was great. But I was very disappointed
Good food, big portions, nice ambiance, service is good but it could be better, not cheap but ir worth a trial
Everything was amazing! Our server was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations! The made my boyfriends birthday one to remembren! We will definitely be back next time we’rein New York!
Booking made via Open Table did not go through due to a recent change of booking systems at the restaurant. We were promptly seated upstairs anyway.
Meals were fresh and tasty. Sea bass was cooked to perfection. Broccolini was a little stringy and hard to cut.
Wine was served in a dirty glass and the staff seemed non-chalant about it and no apology. They gave the option to have the wine transferred to a clean glass or have a new pour. Not sure that should even have been an option.
Nice decor. Good place for a catch up with friends.
On the culinary side - absolutely amazing.
On the service side - so disappointed. Our server was horrible... empty cocktail/wine glasses all night, constantly needing reminders of what we were drinking, mistakes made on our appetizers. No effort to ask about how our entrees were, it took half an hour to get our check when we were done, and no response when we were leaving even when I said “thank you” directly to him... this was on a quiet Tuesday night. Can’t imagine what this would’ve been like on a weekend.
Hope they can turn this around - hitting it out of the park on every other aspect.
Hopefully you’ll get a better server than we did.
We had a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes..and it was WAY too loud!. Practically impossible to have a conversation. Food was perfectly fine but but nothing special.
We always love :)
Good food, service and atmosphere.
Amazing food, every time!
The service was very good and the food was also excellent. The restaurant was full with the lunch crowd and noise level was high. We were on the lower level. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I've had good meals there in the past, but they seem to have slipped. The service was off (no bread offered, food dropped on the floor and not cleaned up quickly, missed refills on drinks, no check in on the food once served, etc.). Moreover, the lobster salad was the puniest thing I have ever eaten. It was literally one claw's worth of meat. The waiter should have alerted me (I'm 6'2"). They credited us the appetizer, but I had to order a second entree to get full.
The food was good, but specifically my risotto was pretty small. As an overall appraisal, it was above average but nothing really extraordinary. The black and white chocolate mousse was delicious. Service was fine.
Our server was knowledgeable about the menus and very caring, and the food was AMAZING. I’ve never had better risotto.
Very good. Will return upon our next trip to NYC
Our waitress was fantastic. She gave us some great food recommendations and proactively addresses things like needing an extra plate, etc. before we had even asked for it. The place is a bit expensive, but really good food and fantastic service
We had an excellent waiter. The food was good, but overpriced. There was no hostess to thank us when we left.
Do not allow the hostess to sit you upstairs in the back by the kitchen. Terrible. Chicken paillard was dry and tasteless. I’m giving 2 stars only because my past experiences were better.
Never disappointed when I eat here. The food is AMAZING. I always walk out of this place satisfied no matter what I eat. And the Pot de creme has to be one of my FAVORITE desserts there. Looking forward to my next visit!! I highly recommend this restaurant. Flavors are always on point!
Food & service were great. Location is convinient & great. Little pricey but u paying all for all those things so.
We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Only complaint was that it was a bit warm in the restaurant. The food and the service were outstanding and we will all return.
I would never recommend Fig & Olive between the hours of 11:30 & 1:30pm. The noise was terrible the service appalling- they just brought all the food together, didn’t wait until one course was finished - we had the fix priced lunch menu. The noise was horrendous, our guests & ourselves couldn’t hear each othe. So disappointing as we have eaten at this restaurant late afternoon and it was a different experience.
For the second time in a row they were out of a wine on their list. They let me review the list, decide on the wine, order the wine and then come back to me recommending a more expensive alternative as they were sold out of my choice . Not cool
The food was delicious but the service is both intrusive and forgetful. The restaurant is EXTREMELY LOUD and crowded.
A very efficient business lunch place. The service is fast and the food is decent. However the tables are so close to each other. Hard to squeeze into the seat.
INCREDIBLE! I work for an international company which owns some pretty sweet properties. This restaurant had more depth of flavor, consideration for seasonal ingredients and a fresh way of presenting lovely dishes than I have found in a long time! I’m not kidding! The many crostini are a great starter and will please everyone at the table. For mains, the salmon, steak, the beautiful lemon chicken and oh my goodness, the truffle risotto! Vegetarians and meat eaters all agreed...amazing, deep and rich flavors made this a truly memorable dinner. Oh, Get the 4 mini dessert sampler and go straight to dulce heaven! We couldn’t believe how fabulous it was and were so grateful to have found this place after a marathon brainstorming session!!! I’ll definitely be back from CT with the family!!
Very cute spot. Downtstairs is a perfect date spot at the bar, upstairs dining room is fun for groups. Great menu offerings. Would definitely recommend!
Terrific as expected.
Very nice experience, as always
