Disfrutamos mucho el super ambiente, mientras espetamos la mesa nos entretuvimos viendo al bartender como preparaba los cocteles con gran destreza y profesionalismo, nuestra mesa estuvo súper buen ubicada, los sofás cómodos y la comida tica y bien presentada.

Had a great lunch. Service was great, view out the windows was great. A very enjoyable lunch with friends.
Food and service is always exceptional!
Even though we live in the neighborhood and Fig & Olive has been open for five years, this was our first time there. We loved it. It is a beautiful restaurant with great food and a friendly, attentive staff. We dine out a lot, so when we say our experience was excellent, we mean it.
It is pricey and a little noisy, but overall a very nice experience. We look forward to returning -- particularly in the summer when we can dine on the terrace.
Really disappointing. Food was really terrible! They need to up their game...riding on their laurels!
We have been here multiple times and we always like it. The only reason I gave service 4 stars is because there was a delay between plates and nobody said anything about it, but still we had a great meal.
The crostini are great as is the whole branzino.

Everything was awesome...Craig was the first person we met and talked to at the bar and he was very knowledgeable and professional...we had a wonderful experience!
Food could be better
They advertise Mediterranean food but it is very far off the mark. The lobster salad was 2 on a scale of 10; all the plates were at the very least mediocre and lacked taste. The service was medium we had to continually ask the waiter for things we ordered. The shrimp cocktail sauce was tasteless. The drinks we good. All in all I wouldn’t rate the Resturant as 4.5 star as Open Table did, the rating should be more like 3 stars.
We waited more than a half hour past our 8:00 reservation time. Then they tried to cram the three of us into a table barely big enough.
Food and selections were terrific. Portions were perfectly sized to not feel overstuffed. Crostini appetizer selection was great. And Danilo was just an outstanding waiter.

Awesome atmosphere. Very modern and chic. Great food and service. I went for brunch with my husband and parents. Will definitely go back to try out the dinner menu and have a cocktail on the third floor rooftop.

Everything was pristinely coordinated! Lovely lighting and atmosphere. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long while.
I really appreciated the kitchen cutting the crostini into bite size portions for easier sharing. Lively even during lunchtime on a weekend. Turned out to be a good choice for a reunion of college friends. We were able to linger and visit.

Incredibly noisy, the Muzak is worse than the din. Food was okay, yet highly overrated. The restaurant has effectively become a “chain” restaurant, in the unflattering sense of the word. ...The fritters were a big disappointment, essentially they tasted like fried balls of Campbell’s Mushroom Soup. There was nary a slice of mushroom to be found in any of them. However, the waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and was a good server. Overall, the restaurant is a place for millennials to see and be seen. If you are a serious foodie, and not just someone looking for a trendy place to eat, you’d be better off dining at Nico Osteria about 100 yards away.
Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant as I had just read some negative reviews on another website. The restaurant on the third floor was upscale, trendy decor, busy but not overly loud. The menu was exciting, so many choices, making it hard to decide, and the food was spectacular, exceptional. Had an excellent, friendly, knowledgeable waiter; service was leisurely but not overly slow. Enjoyed the whole experience and would certainly return should I visit Chicago again. The prices were a little high, but I soon discovered that was the norm for Chicago restaurants of that caliber. I wish there were such a wonderful place closer to home.
The only thing at this time was that the restaurant section with the large bar was closed off for a private event that they were setting up for. So we sat upstairs, not as many opportunities to have the window view from there. We did however, enjoy every bit of our meal and our server was wonderful.

Pretty but pricey given you’re eating on Oak Street.
Virtually no vegan options at all (salad doesn’t count). Lamb burger was not cooked properly and not tasty. Cool vibe but menu and service were lacking.
Food was not very good. Salad was overdressed and simply didn’t taste very good.

The service at Fig and Olive was exceptional. The staff was very attentive and courteous. However, it was very difficult to hold a conversation with the people at my table. The noise level seemed a bit excessive and it brought down my opinion of the place. The food was very good; I ordered the fillet mignon and I thought it was perfectly cooked. The restaurant’s olive oils we found to be very flavorful as well.

The restaurant could really use a bit of updating. The tables are scratched and worn, the ladies room, in the same condition. Our server was lovely and personable, and the best part of the evening. The food she recommended to us was delicious but was not the right temperature. My bouillabaisse was luke warm at best, and the roasted cauliflower had good flavor but was cold. My husband’s paella was also not warm enough. I wouldn’t rush back.
