   Brunch food was just okay - served very quickly but everything was lukewarm. Bloody Mary was great - and the beer sidecar was a nice touch.

   service was lacking. from no silverware at apps delivery to a 'sloushed' beer at delivery and waitstaff that just didnt communicate very well. food was good. large portions and was delivered promptly.

   Food was not great - for the price. Server had a terrible personality. Room was dark and dank. Wouldn't go there again even if it was free.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the Brewpub. We've passed along the server feedback to the manager. Sounds like the dark pub may not be your style. We do have a large outdoor Beer Garden at the Burger Bar across the street that may better suit you.

   Enjoyed the property. Lots of room. Flexible with an increase in the number of people in our party, at the last minute. Very good food at a very fair price. Service was outstanding. Only one issue … the noise levels made it more difficult to hear our conversation. But excellent evening with quality food.

    We made a reservation for a low top table and were seated at a high top. The menu print font is too small and difficult to read even with reading glasses. Our server was great!

    One of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was amazing. We had roast carrots with goat cheese and hazelnut. The chef wagu burger with homemade jack cheese was my favorite. The carnitas sandwich was fantastic and even the fries were awesome. We had chocolate cake with creme fresh whipped with raspberry spread. I can't say enough good things about how great the food was. Chef Jackson is amazing.

    This was the second time eating here since the reopen and we love it!! The land meatballs are phenomenal, the Nashville Hot Tofu is amazing, and the chocolate dessert is to die for. The loaded frites were great and serving size big enough for 4 people. We live close enough to bike or walk and will definitely be back.

    Always a great experience. First time back after reopening. Have been regular since initial opening. Menu is not vast but every single item is great. Service was wonderful. A favorite for my wife and myself regardless of which side of the street we visit.

    First time back since reopening. Had carnitas sandwich, charred carrots, brussel sprouts and several creative beers. Creative, tasty food in a relaxed pub atmosphere with lots of beer choices. I could eat the whole menu. I’m a big fan and will be back.

    Friendly staff, great setting. We were seated directly next to the only other party in the restaurant. It took about 15 minutes to get our beers. Our appetizers (carrots and zucchini fries) came out quickly and were both delicious. Our dinner came out quickly too. We each ordered a sandwich and fries. It was served in a wide mouth bowl which made the sandwich hard to cut. The fries were perfect. My sandwich (Pastrami) was way too salty. I would suggest way less mustard and slightly less seasoning on the meat. Overall it was good but not great.

    We were really excited about 50 West Brewpub being open after 3 years. So disappointed with the food. We ordered the zucchini appetizer and hush puppies, both would have been delicious if they were not over fried tasting slightly burnt and soaked with oil. My husband ordered the sausage entree which was delicious. I ordered the pastrami sandwich, which would have been good if it was not overpowered with the hop mustard, way too much on it. We ordered the cider donuts for dessert and the were overcooked in the oil, tasting slightly burnt. I just think they are adding too many strange spices to their dishes and need to cut back on frying time. Maybe as things settle down the food will become great again. As before the beer was delicious and the service was excellent.

    Server was not exciting! Food was good. I know it’s a brewery, but Wine selection and liquor selection was very limited. I may return. My 2 friends won’t.

As you mentioned, we do focus a lot of our efforts on our 24 tap beer selection, but try to offer a variety of creative cocktails and wines, which will always be rotating on and off our menus!     This was our first time to 50 West since the renovation and menu change. Pre-COVID we went fairly often. Overall I was disappointed with the experience. We went for a brunch reservation at 12:30 and the restaurant was not super busy which was nice. The first item I tried to order was out of stock so I got the biscuits and goetta gravy. The eggs had no seasoning on them and the gravy was bland and mushy. I couldn’t find any goetta in it. The biscuits themselves and tots that came with the meal were good though. My husband had the goetta sandwich and said it was very good. We were seated in a corner which was great but ended up stuck next to a table of extremely loud older women who drowned out everyone else in the room. Our check got dropped off before our food arrived but then picked up - seemed to be an honest mistake but we were super confused and felt rushed. We were also never asked if we wanted drink refills until we were both done and ready to leave. It could have been an off day for the restaurant but I don’t know that 50 will be our first choice for brunch in the future.

    Got to taste beer and eat great food. What more could you want? Hummus app was amazing. Sandwiches were good size and delicious. Shoestring fries - the best ever.

    We thought this food and experience would be good, but it actually turns out it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had!! Heard someone describe the hummus as life-changing - truly it was phenomenal and unlike anything we’ve ever tasted. Then, we each had a small salad that was unique and wonderful, and our entrees were absolutely delicious, too! On top of that, the service was fantastic - Lilly was kind and attentive and she made our experience even more special! We will be craving that hummus and already can’t wait to go back! Thank you for reopening, and our huge compliments to the chef - wow!

    We started with the Hush Puppies and they were delicious especially with the sauce. I enjoyed the Salmon entree perfect amount of food. My husband enjoyed the Lamb Meatballs. Our waitress suggested the squash soup to accompany bc the meatballs entree is not very big. Appreciate that bc with the soup it was enough food. Look forward to coming back to try the hot chicken or do brunch.
