   Glad to welcome Fifty Vara to the neighborhood, which replaced Sunset Reservoir Brewing Co, which closed last year. The space and menu definitely got a glow up and our family had a lovely dinner. The food was a little slow to come out of the kitchen (it feels like they're still working out some of the kinks) but our waiter was apologetic and graciously comped us dessert for the trouble. The food was very good, on-site brewed beer delicious, and the vibes were strong. Wishing them much success.

   Great food and ambiance! The host and server made our birthday celebration special. It was our first time at Fifty Vara, and it did not disappoint. Will be returning!

   Service was the best. Nick gave great recommendations, was very friendly and nice, and was pleasant to talk to. Everything we ordered was really good.

   Screaming children. Two TVs blaring sports at the bar (which is the same room as dining). And then they cranked up the music. Lots of cement and that noise just makes for a cacaphony of noise. Impossible to hear your dining companion. Food was Okay. Waiter was lovely. If I lived in the hood I might return (it’s fancy for that stretch of Noriega). Since I don’t live there, I won’t be back.

   We had the Persian cucumbers, calamari, little gem salad, one of the flat breads and a pasta dish. Of the dishes were very flavorful and came out quickly. Service overall was good. Great to have this space in use again!

   The service and food were both excellent! The noise level totally acceptable - loud enough that it was obvious people were enjoying themselves, but not so loud conversation at our table was difficult to hear. I would totally recommend 50 Vera to anyone!

   This place is a great neighborhood spot. Whole restaurant had one eye on a Warriors game, which was fun. Bring a jacket, it was chilly near the door!

    Tasty food, great sharing possibilities. The three of us wanted to graze, so we got the Persian cucumbers, which were nicely spicy; the potato/rosemary flatbread, a great use of potatoes; the baked goat cheese, good but a little more tomatoey than I like. Also the spinach salad, which had a lot of savory ingredients and was plentiful. The beer battered green beans were quite awesome; I could just have a couple of orders of them and a glass of wine and be happy. We had all three desserts since it was a birthday and they were all fantastic, especially the olive oil spiced chocolate cake. A good drinks menu. We were there early and it was quite family friendly. I'm excited they will be opening for lunch and brunch in the near future.
