The food was fine but we couldn’t chew most of our duck entree.
Both thecfood and the service was great. I loved the Kung Pao.
Fifty One was nice. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed their service.
The food, however, was so/so. The meats we ordered walnut chicken and the one of the bbq pork dishes were pretty tasty. The steamed dumplings were good but very small and the bao we had were dry but had a good taste. Pineapple curry fried rice was also very very dry but tasted good. We thought maybe it was that it just wasn’t fresh it might have been sitting there for a good while (they brought it out SUPER fast).
Overall it was good but I don’t think I’d be clamoring to go back.
Food was swimming in oil.... So greasy
The food was overly salty. Took away from any flavor. Noticed there were just a few people there. That should have been a big red flag
There was hardly anything for me to order that sounded appealing. Ordered the cumin ribs which was inedible.
Went next door to Yalla and got a take home yummy dinner!!!!
Good food with generous servings. Some very interesting flavor combinations. They need to work out some kinks with the table service (like providing plates and serving spoons when serving family style) but they were nice and attentive.
Enjoyed the food immensely. Service was good however We felt the waiter didn’t want to be there and rarely checked on us. It is worth going to and we will be going back.
Great food, excellent service.
Service was very poor, seemed like it was everyone’s first serving job. Food was just ok. Restaurant was empty on a Friday night.
I feel bad writing this review as the restaurant just opened and they spent a considerable amount of money. I would like for them to succeed, but to do so, the quality of the food has to increase significantly. I had lunch there and was shocked at how bland everything was. We had shrimp and walnuts (really bland shrimp), orange chicken (tasteless fried chicken with an awful sauce on the side, fried rice (tasteless). The only decent thing was the Chinese broccoli. I hope the owners look at this review and make a lot of changes. I would go back if they do.
I hate to give a negative review but this restaurant did not meet expectations. On a Saturday night in Culver City, there was no one there. The service was underwhelming considering the place was empty. More surprising was the food - there was nothing that stood out for me as great. Worse, I didn’t even want seconds of anything. Not good. Sadly, I won’t return.
Very tasty great service and very fast 👍🏻
This place is definitely a keeper. The food and the service were outstanding.
Our search for good Chinese food on the westside continues, sadly. Terrible food. I got the orange chicken and it was basically fried chicken on a bed of iceberg lettuce with a bad sauce served on the side. They also served soy sauce with the egg rolls WTF. Don’t go there.
