   The pork belly with potato pancakes was delicious. Service was very good and friendly. Wine selection was good too. You need a reservation b/c space is limited.

   First time eating here since the change in management. Food was good but they did hit a couple pet peeves that will probably have us avoiding another visit anytime soon. First, my wife ordered a soda, which came in a small glass, for $5. OK , whatever... Unfortunately, when they came by and asked if she would like some more, she said yes and they brought a refill (maybe 4-5 ounces). When the bill came, they charged $10 for two sodas. I hate being charged for fountain soda refills. It shady restaurant BS and the kind of crap you expect in European cities. Second, we ordered an appetizer dip to share and they served with completely inadequate amount of toast for the amount of dip in the bowl , so we asked for a few extra toast slices. Instead of serving the food with an appropriate ratio of bread, they charged us for a "side of toast. " Really guys, come on...We support our local restaurants, don't nickel and dime us to death.

   Fifty HenryResponded on October 1, 2022Hi Brian, No change in management, simply just a name change. We don't use a soda fountain, so unfortunately refills are not financially feasible for us. We serve three slices of toast with the hummus. Apologies if it didn't seem to match the amount of hummus- we'll fix that. As a local restaurant, nickel and diming our guests is not our business model. We are another family run restaurant trying to cover our costs & survive in the post-pandemic era. Hope you'll give us another chance.

   Fifty Henry is one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn. The atmosphere is great - the interior is so nice and it was a perfect setting for dinner. The service was fantastic, our waitress made a great cocktail selection, and the food was so good. We got the rigatoni and the orecchiette and loved both dishes. I always come here for brunch and it’s great, but the dinner was also fantastic

   Fifty Henry continues to stand out for me among the weekend brunch and dinner options for me in all of Brooklyn. It is my absolute favorite place to go to eat hands down.

    I understand that there is a waitstaff shortage but we waited for over an hour for our food even with a reservation. It was not packed in the restaurant. Then the food wasn’t hot! The excuse was that there was a party of 6 that came in after our party of 3. Yet there were others that received their meals before us. I don’t think I will return. The food was mediocre.

    Don’t eat here if you’re hungry. They give you next to nothing for the price. We had brunch and we were very disappointed. How dare they charge those prices for NOTHING. At least put a small bread basket down !!!

    We celebrated my husbands birthday there and it was just incredible. Hallie and her team go above and beyond to create the perfect dining experience. Live jazz on Thursday nights is also a must!

    This is an excellent neighborhood eatery and bar. So good to have it back from the pandemic hours. The service is comfortable, friendly and efficient. The brunch was not very busy today. Hopefully, if full there would have been more servers. One person and a bartender could not comfortably serve a booked room. In good weather the outdoor seating is pleasant. The food is very well prepared. Each of our dishes were tasty. Drinks are always well prepared and the wine list moderate but well chosen.

    My mandarin fennel ricotta salad was outstanding! There are many new additions others menu I will come back and try. Y only complaint was a very loud group at the next table. Aft they left the ry full restaurant quieted down considerably and we could hear ourselves talk.

    I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Such a great wine list and by far the best food in Brooklyn Heights. We were celebrating an engagement with friends and they made it very special for our whole group.

    The food was very delicious and service was friendly and helpful. Waitress let us try the Sancerre before we committed to a half carafe. It was a lovely quiet Sunday brunch. Portions are on the smaller end. Either I was extremely hungry or the pork belly w/ potato latkes was a small portion but it was very yummy though. The chocolate cake slice we ordered was extremely small. SLIVER was an overstatement.

    We went for Mother's Day brunch. The staff was welcoming, professional, and the food was great! The Huevos Ranchero is what I had, and I highly recommend it! Oh, and our off-the-menu favorite keto alcohol drink: White Russian with coffee instead of Kahlua!

    Our server was honestly the sweetest! I loved my bacon, egg & cheese doughnut with hot sauce, and my white peach bellini was hitting the spot too. Split the doughnut of the day (black & white) with a friend - so yummy and soft / fresh! They have space heaters for outdoor dining that really do a good job of keeping you warm. I would definitely return next time I’m in the area.

    We arrived to find that they had given away our table. Our original reservation was for 1:30pm, but we changed it on the app to 2pm, which was confirmed by OpenTable. It seems that the restaurant staff doesn’t check OpenTable for updates during the day. Time to change this policy.
