Love this place!!! I come here as often as I can!!!
It’s very family friendly - but not necessarily ideal for a date. Food was decent, as were the drinks
Not bad but not sure I’d go back
Nice local Mexican restaurant. Service and food have improved. Lovely patio seating.
Outdoor dining, and a super friendly & helpful staff, are what make this restaurant one of our favorites.
Sit outside on the patio if you can! Live music on the weekends, great food and the best chips and salsa! Casual and fun atmosphere.
We had a great meal and excellent service. We will be back.
This is a place I take friends and visitors to. The food is good, medium priced and the service is ok. Nothing outstanding but worth going to.
Only Mexican restaurant open Sunday midday
So we decided to try it out after having passed by casually many times before
Nothing special really and I say that almost as a compliment in that it's a typical California Mexican food joint that was once everywhere and provided a typical satisfying meal for a fair price due to the simplicity of the fare - much like older Italian eateries once did for that cuisine. What negativity differentiates this place are the absolutely exorbitant prices. Easily twice what you would/should pay at a typical old fashioned Mexican restaurant!!! To revert to the earlier analogy - it's like ordering spaghetti but being charged like your having cutting edge northern Italian food. 18 for a taco and enchilada? 22 dollar entrees at a place with corona banners hanging from the piñata?!! No bueno! Food ok
Wife ordered carnitas had weird sauce on it
My chile relleno and enchilada were again ok
But just ok
And only then if at a price in line with average service and dated but typical decor
Don't know how it can be justified at all
One person from our party arrived very early yet was treated very well.
Our server was fantastic!
Best to find out if a band is playing that night so a table can be chosen to be further away from the band stand to allow conversation.
YUM YUM YUM! Great as always! Love it! Also it was nice to sit on the outside patio.
My family always enjoys dining at Fiesta. Staff is wonderful!
Love coming here and having our meal on the outside patio! YUMMY!
Consistently good and so thrilled to have this place in our neighborhood. Always ready to customize per our dietary requirements and with a great outdoor space and circulating mariachi band it feels very authentic.
Best refreshing drink is the margarita with a Coronita drip. Awesome. Abundant food for the money. Only drawback was our waiter first not speak English so he had to keep sending the bartender over to take our ordersagain. Good luck dive witg outside patio and mid range prices
I can't eat anything spicy or peppery (hot peppers, or pepper on my meat etc). The waiter was not helpful or didn't understand me. When I ate there before the waiter was great and recommended what & how I should order. There for my meal wasn't as good this time,
The waiter was rude and very short , from
His attitude he put off that he didn't care about his customers
We have been dining here for years. Its fun and family friendly
Best chips and salsa! We sat on the patio, had a great dinner and listened to music on a Friday night. Great ambiance! Lots of families and pet-friendly.
The highlight is the Blue House band who play at Fiesta Vallarta the first Thursday of every month during the summer. Wonderful live music complemented by great food and margaritas.
It was a very warm evening, and we sat outside on the large patio which was great.
Live band was playing and a couple of people were even dancing - nice surprise that added to the festive atmosphere.
Food was great, and service quick.
This place never fails me. They are so accomadating. We usually have a big crowd and they often come at different times and the staff here is fantastic..
And the plus is that I love their food..
FV has a wonderful patio and a wonderful ambiance. Add great food, and I believe it's my favorite restaurant. Not only is Los Altos, but favorite far and wide. Go once, you'll be a regular.
We went here for a birthday and it was delicious. Service is great! Love the nights on the patio with the outdoor entertainment! Hosted a wedding shower here as well and the owners and employees are competent and very nice to work with! 😊
My hubby and I were looking forward to a fun and relaxing, evening of delightful outdoor dining while listening to the cool guitarist we'd heard about. Unfortunately this was not at all to be. Once seated we ordered margaritas but then it took over an HOUR for the waitress to take our dinner order!!! If we could give Service zero stars we would. There were no apologizes but rather excuses - a big party (??!) but other tables were being served so we wondered if it was our waitress. I even had to go inside and request a water re-fill. Ugh. Mgmt-if understaffed then take fewer reservations, please!!! We'd thought we'd discover an enjoyable spot to return with friends, but we won't be returning anytime soon...if ever.
One of the best Mole sauces encountered anywhere. The one disappointment is that they don't do Tamales.
I love the food at this restaurant and the drinks are great, but it is also a wonderful venue for music. Unfortunately, the band was cancelled the night I went and I was very disappointed in this--I had requested seating outside near the band and no-one called to tell me the gig was cancelled. I ate there anyway cuz the food is so good.
We came on a Friday night. Were able to get in right away (we were early, before 6 pm) but it filled up quickly. Very friendly staff, and great food and drinks. Great outdoor area with firepits and heaters. Fun for all!
Patio dining is a rarity in our area. The ambience outdoors is wonderful--small waterfall, live plants, good privacy from street noise and traffic.
We enjoyed eating at Fiesta Vallarta! Service was great and orders and drinks are taken electronically, so the speed of receiving food and drinks was so fast! Food was hot and plentiful! We had the 2 tamales, one with red and one with green sauce, both very tasty and a bit spicy. The Chimichanga was very good and was full of white meat chicken and topped with pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. Took half of it home, it was so big. I'll definitely return and recommend it. Great seating outside, but was too cold to take advantage of it! Very cute and quaint location in downtown Los Altos.
We have dined here frequently - both just us as a couple and with groups. It is low key, honest Mexican food - not gourmet but not exptected to be.
This time though our waitress was outstanding, the food was not up to former standards. Though the plates were hot, the food was luke warm. We will certainly go back however, as everyone has off days.
