DO NOT come here thinking you're going to get the same experience as Fielding's Grill!!! This location tries to be more upscale...less comfort food (burger's, BBQ) and more higher-end steaks..which is OK...we love steak and don't mind paying for a good steak. My wife got the 12 oz dry-aged rib-eye...I got the 14 oz wet-aged rib-eye....both cooked medium rare. Immediately on presentation I notice my wife's had a great crusty char on the outside...mine was a "mottled- grey" finish. Uh Oh I thought...this isn't going to be good. She loved hers...mine was horrid. The lovely cap on the rib-eye...called the spinaedes rib-eye muscle...was a gristled piece of fat. If you know your cuts of meat...the lowest cut...is Select...then Choice...then Prime...this was either Select or Choice. I voiced my displeasure, they asked to redo a steak (this was date night...now way)...they said they wouldn't charge us and offered us a free drink. The bill came and I didn't pay attention (my mistake). They ended up charging us for the steak...and did not include the steak in the to-go box. Poor puppers...no treats tonight.

First visit was disappointing. My wife and I had our Friday "date night" and visited Fielding's Local Kitchen and Bar for the first time. It was a good sized energetic crowd. Lots of kids playing in the adjoining courtyard (makes it very noisy if sitting outside). We were seated at an outside table. After a few minutes we were asked to move to another table due to a "mistake" that the table was reserved for a regular patron. We then sat for about 20 minutes before anyone waited on us. We finally flagged down the manager and advised him of the situation. He did an good job of trying to reverse our dissatisfaction and assigned us a high energy wait person. We eventually got our meals and the manager did comp our wine. On the plus side, it does have a fantastic bar and wine cellar selection. The bar staff were outstanding and attentive while we waited for our table. I would highly recommend the warm avocado fundido if you have a long wait time. However, first impression damage has been done. It seems that the management staff caters to regular patrons as a priority (understandable). Unless you are a local and frequent patron, you might be disappointed by the service.

Small amount of good food, but big check. Way too expensive for what we got. Felt ripped off when$14 martini was served in a sherry glass and also when i had to ask to have my coffee warmed up, got billed an additional $3.50!

We enjoyed our dining experience. This was our first visit to the restaurant and we enjoyed the oysters and the trout. We also tried the gelato and the bread budding which were both delightful. This is a nice casual restaurant and we plan to eat here again.

As always a great place for a sandwich, salad or something heavier. Food is always good friendly staff. Beer is awesome there. They always have a good variety. Daniel at the bar is awesome! Keep up the great work.

When we arrived, we asked for a quiet table and we're led to one. The music was vibrant and there were few diners, so we asked that it be toned down. The manager quickly obliged. Joe was a great server, attentive but not obtrusive. The food was amazing! The blackened trout tender and moist with grilled broccoli and hazelnuts. The salmon on a brioche bun with a fresh salad was beautiful and delicious. Wonderful experience with obviously fresh food and a very creative chef. We'll be back!
