WE CANT WAIT TO GO BACK! We are Bozeman locals and had the best dining experience. From the bread appetizer to the entrees to the drinks..everything was SO delicious and perfectly prepared. This is truthfully the first review I have ever written and I just cant rave about Fieldings enough. The beer mugs were frosted, my husbands steak was cooked perfectly, my salmon was TO DIE FOR...so crispy on the outside. Don't even get me started on the desserts. SERIOUSLY. I already booked our reservation for Valentines Day. What a Gem this place is!
Overall it was an enjoyable dinner. The server was nice but he was also the bartender so service was slow. They don't excell in the gluten free department; my husband's burger came out on two dry pieces of GF toast instead of a bun. I ordered the squash, which was surprisingly good. Drinks were great and the ambience is pretty eclectic + unique to Bozeman.
Overall It was good. Some things were amazing, but pricey. The service was only ok.
Outstanding food coupled with superior service on a very festive night what more could one ask. This was my first time, clearly will not be my last. Keep up the good work guys.
Delicious food and amazing super friendly service. We ate there two nights in a row while staying at the Armory in Bozeman. Everything we ordered was delicious!
The food was excellent but there were no sides, which for the priced paid was skimpy. Loved the vibe and will return for special occasions.
So glad to have this new fun restaurant here in Bozeman. Will definitely be on our list for dinners out.
Great staff. Food was amazing, we particularly enjoyed the herb and lettuce salad and the bison braised short rib. Second time dining here, we have been served by both Shay and Sierra and they were amazing! We were very pleased with our dining experience for a second time!
We went for Christmas dinner. Food was outstanding and the service from the staff was great.
The kitchen is still finding their stride but the atmosphere is great and we had a very nice time at our family Christmas dinner. Our server was nice and attentive and the bartender made me a special request and nailed it. We will be back.
Enjoyed a delicious Christmas Eve meal of bread skillet, hummus plate, twice baked squash and the mushroom pot pie!
Truly outstanding food, service, atmosphere and value! We had a party of 2 and shared a charcuterie, a caesar salad and a wonderful pasta! All were top notch in flavor, temperature, presentation and value. Our server was knowledgable and very friendly. We have already recommended others to dine there and look forward to our next visit!
Loved our dinner at Fieldings! I had the salmon wrapped in bacon with a leek sauce and balsamic reduction accompanied by buttered grits - Best salmon I've had I don't know how long! The charcuterie board was well put together and delicious; drinks - great!; dessert - great! Highly recommend!
Everything was super awesome, definitely our new dinner spot!!
Food choices were good and the meals all 4 of us had were outstanding!!! Waitress very prompt and cheery!
We’ll be back!!
We had a wonderful date night dinner. The food was excellent, the drinks tasty (Get the Cider House Rules drink, its a warm delight!) And the service friendly.
Delicious dinner, had the Chefs choice, gnocchi with bolognese sauce. So good!! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff!
The best part we’re the mussels for our appetizer. Both main dishes were heavily salted and hard to eat.
We are here for Thanksgiving, and it was absolutely wonderful! The service was stellar, awesome ambiance, and the food was out of this world! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a beautiful, and special experience. Can’t wait to go back!
A salad and entree on the menu that we ordered were not available. The wait staff did a good job of attending to our table. Food was better than average, but not great. I would rate our overall dining experience a B-.
The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We will definitely plan to visit Fielding's again the next time we visit Bozeman.
The food options were limited. I’m not a picky eater, but I felt like there wasn’t anything that fit no fish, oily meat, and mushrooms.
The portions were enough but not generous.
The place appeared to be overstaffed but the service wasn’t overly attentive.
Love the atmosphere and the staff! They are incredible!
This like all restaurants, is struggling to be open and doing a reasonable job. They are new and the setting is part of a new hotel and a welcome addition to Bozeman.
The menu has some of the standards for modern American cuisine.
The soup and salads were very good and offered some very fresh and seasonal selections.
It was surprising that in Montana they did not offer a steak, but did have Pork Chop special.
We had the Angry Trout which was a hot mess. The favor of the fish and accompaniment was good, the huge amount and presentation was not. The potato au gratin is a nice addition.
The burger had a good presentation and the fires were very good. However, the meat had a dense previously frozen appearance with little taste. It was thin for a supposedly gourmet presentation and was overcooked for the medium that was requested.
Our waitress did a good job and there were some interesting regional wines. We will definitely try again, but it remains a work in progress.
We went to Fieldings for our anniversary. This is a new restaurant in a new hotel in Bozeman. Given the prices on the menu, I was expecting the restaurant to be very nice and romantic. It wasn't. I felt like I was eating in a diner. That said, the food was excellent, and we were well taken care of. So very much a mixed experience but generally on the positive side.
My husband and I love to come to Fielding’s for date night. The energy in the restaurant is lively and pleasant. The drinks are top notch and the food is amazing.
Quality tasting food, refreshing flavors and great vibes!
Currently my favorite restaurant in Bozeman. Don't forget to visit the bar downstairs, too.
Great food and great service. Beautiful new restaurant in Bozeman.
Fielding’s was simply a disappointment.
The food was incredibly overpriced for what we received. Is the Popover with Duck Confit meant to be served cold? It tasted like a flaky hors d’oeuvre that had been sitting out for too long. If they intended for it to be served this way... okay, but we believe it would’ve tasted better warm.
As for our $30 Hangar Steak, it truly looked and tasted like Diner food. Picture a piece of meat covered in thick brown gravy served with a side of basic French fries. If you’re going to put steak on your menu in Montana, and charge that price, at least do it right.
The $13 cocktail I had was good, but paying $8 for a flat Coldsmoke beer was insulting. We ultimately went to a different restaurant for dessert because we didn’t think it was worth it to stay.
Overall, our server was nice, but she couldn’t make up for the mediocre meal. Bozeman has a number of amazing restaurants, and Fielding’s was a waste of our time and money.
The overall was good, but the lead server who grabbed our food from our table, and never asked if we wanted our food boxed, just grabbed it and walked off. I had a LOT of food left over intending to take home.
The hostess knew we were waiting to go upstairs and made a reservation, and gave our table away because we were waiting to pay for our bill. No one mentioned to us that we were on a time limit.
The food was delicious but it was gourmet style served in more of a diner setting so it didn't quite go together. Main dishes were expensive and probably wouldn't fill the stomach of the average man's appetite. Chairs were not comfortable for a heavy person to fit in. The rest of the hotel is beautiful and I'm looking forward to trying the other restaurants when they open.
The restaurant was freezing and the food was very mediocre. Runny mac and cheese and the salads were basically just a handful of greens thrown into a bowl. Main entrees were pretty decent.
Wonderful ambience! Unique menu items that are delicious.
Great atmosphere: sophisticated yet casual. Bar area is beautiful and the cocktails looked great. We had the chicken with mashed, the steak, and the scallops. All above average. Classier than we needed, but definitely a date night spot.
Great new addition to Bozeman
It is very loud with ceramic tile floors and they had the AC cranking forcing several customers to go get jackets/sweaters to put on. When I asked the Hostess if anyone else had complained about the cold air blowing on them (my wife’s hair was moving) she said “there is nothing that I can do as it’s controlled by the lobby thermostat” Bad design if that’s true and worse answer
They are new so I’ll cut them some slack but at their price point, we have lots of options in Bozeman
I have a large group coming to town over the weekend and staying there and I’ve already given them a list of better places to go
Food was good the decor was nice but the noise level was way to loud. I could barely have a good conversation with my wife and it made it hard to hear the server as well
Fielding's is a new restaurant to Bozeman that taps right into our growing demographic. Great elevated food and cocktails with a funky vintage ambiance, love it! The bar downstairs is also super cute and shouldn't be missed. We had the smoked trout dip, arancini, and popovers to start and everything was delicious. Well crafted menu that makes elegant flavors more approachable. For entrees we had the scallops and the 1/2 chicken. The scallops were cooked perfectly and paired beautifully with the charred corn and fennel. The Half chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy tender on the inside, again, perfectly cooked. Execution all around was spot on. For dessert we had the rocky road profiteroles.... oh my god... so delicious and brings you back to childhood. All in all we highly recommend checking this place out!
Food was great. Waitress was awesome.
