Sat outside, upstairs rooftop. It was lovely. Service was attentive but not overbearing Both had tuna appetizer- nice portion, tuna was fresh. We also ordered the sea scallops and bolognese. Both excellent and nice portions. Too full for dessert. Hidden Gem - will go back

I have driven by many times and we decided to come for a 5:15 dinner. The downstairs looks more like a cofee shop and we were seated upstairs in the dining area. We had a lovely window seat and we the 1st diners that night. 2 other tables were seated to our side, and then a large party of 16 people were seated behind us. Unfortunately this party was so loud it made the dinner very uncomfortable. There was a young 20 year old bus boy/runner and then a 30 something Asian waitress, who later identified herself as the manager. We split the burrata salad as an app and it was enjoyable but needed some dressing on the lettuce. Cheese and fruit on it were fine. We ordered duck and steak, both medium rare. When the meals came out 40 minutes later, both were already sliced. the duck breast was cut in half and was dry, well done. the steak was also already sliced and was obviously well done. I don't know why anyone would ever serve either of these welldone as it was obvious from looking at it. We reordered our meals quickly before the large party of 16 could get their order in. After waiting another 45 minutes, our meals came out again. Both items came back as medium. Closer than well done before, but still far off. This time they didn't slice either. the duck was a solid color throughout but atleast moist and edible. The steak had the faintest hint of pink in the small cut in the middle but all of the other pieces were brown. Neither item appeared to be seasoned this time. I ate the duck and the wife had 1 piece of the steak. We decided to leave. I don't always expect a comped meal or a free dessert, but it was obvious that the manager didn't care about her clients as she knew the meal was off again. She offerred up that they had some problems in the kitchen and something spiled before service so they didn't get time to prep their stations. Still, I was rather shocked not to see any offer of compensation for the poor service.

Service staff was very good, knowledgeable and ready with recommendations. We had tuna ceviche, butternut squash soup, duck, and beef cheeks, all tasty and presented very well. Wintry weather was dismal but the atmosphere inside was very comfortable.

This was our first visit to Ficus. Great atmosphere as soon as you go up the stairs to the main part of the dining room. I was with 3 friends, all of us thoroughly loved our evening. The waitress was adorable and sweet. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the shrimp dumplings! We all had a different entree: Fettuccine Alfredo, Bolognese, Honey Miso Salmon and vegetable medley. We all loved our meals. We ended the evening trying 3 of the desserts— a MUST! All the desserts are made in house. They are divine! Chocolate Cake, Creme Brûlée and Yuzu Sorbet with fresh fruit….delicious and a perfect ending to our evening. Highly recommend this gem!

Service was particularly wonderful in the restaurant upstairs , from a rapid welcome to offering drinks, opening our bottle (both options ) to menu and meal delivery . There is a coat rack a little hidden behind the curtain by the bathroom that’s very useful in this cold season. Food was excellent : we shared a salad all ingredients fresh well seasoned more than enough in 2, and each had an entree abundant and delicious the famous burger, Korean version, and the “half chicken “ boneless served with delicious squash purée . Despite being full it was a very pleasant noise level really not loud . I love the lighting and spruce-like wall color We will definitely come again! They have a wonderful couple of private rooms either for a couple or for 6, which could allow privacy for business or simply friendly conversation. When weather I’d look forward to an upgrade of tables - maybe tablecloth and stabilized table foot.

My husband ordered a tea and let the waitress choose. It was the most delicious tea I have ever had! The duck spring rolls were fantastic. We had the pork chop and the salmon and they were both delicious and a good portion. We highly recommend Ficus.
