Fiasco & Claret Wine Bar
The menu is seasonally inspired and bold in flavor. House made Vodka Battered Calamari, Prosciutto Bruschetta and our Chunky Avocado salad are just some of the features in our shareable category. Main plates include the house favorites; Lamb Osso Bucco, Grilled Chicken Piccata and Basil Pesto Fusili. We serve lunch and dinner during the week and feature an Italian brunch menu on the weekends.
Drink offerings were developed by Bar Manager, Phillip Thompson, and Wine Director, Chris Horn; and will feature a wide assortment of spirits, cocktails, wine and beer.
We went for my birthday. The food was really good and the Service was outstanding!
Loved the avocado salad! Would love to have that recipe. It was a Sunday evening and there was not a lot of people in the restaurant which was perfect for a special time with my wife
Perfect from the moment we walked in. Our server was genius with wine offerings... thanks a million! Cheers, RC
My son’s birthday dinner was outstanding! Mostly due to Angela waiting our table. She went beyond to make us feel comfortable and see that our experience was fabulous!
The food was just heavenly!! Can’t wait to go back and try more ...And the service was genuine and gracious.
Claret is a hidden gem!
My boyfriend and I went for a Friday dinner and were happily surprised by this fun spot. Our waitress knew a lot about the menu, and was quite wordy when explaining things, but she was also very attentive and gave us the perfect amount of space to enjoy our meal. The food was great, we both agreed that the gnocchi was the best we have ever tried. Seriously— if you love gnocchi, you will be mind blown by their take on this classic dish. Overall, a great experience. We will be back again!
Wonderful food, great ambiance, consistent, delicious food. Love the hospitality. Decent prices-not cheap but reasonable.
Really disappointed, highly suggest you skip Fiasco. It was incredibly loud and so dark - even our 8 year old commented on it, and people were using their candles/phones to try and see.
Our food was mediocre at best - the calamari was not edible. There was so much salt and breading that’s you couldn’t even tell there was squid. The pumpkin risotto was ok, nothing special. The server was lovely but not a reason to spend $150 on dinner on a random Thursday night.
Save your $ or go spend it at San Fermo or one of the many other options nearby.
Angie was fabulous and took care of all special requests made by our kids effortlessly! I have allergies and food restrictions and they are very knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was and always is outstanding!! Our family always looks forward to a night at Fiasco.
Food was a very mixed bag. Bruschetta was good but the bread brought to the table to have with olive oil was very dry. Gem salad was great. Lamb entree was mediocre, chicken piccata was good but almost cold and bucatini dish was very spicy. Ordered dessert as well. Pumpkin gelato was good but they forgot to provide the sauce that was supposed to come with it till we asked. Good service but our waiter was the bartender so he was at times needed elsewhere; that said it was quite quiet there.
Really good food and very accommodating for you kids
Worst Gnocchi I’ve ever had, over cooked mush. Chicken Piccata had good flavor but chicken was dry.. Melon and prosciutto appetizer had hard unripe melon and very little meat. The interior ambience of this restaurant was nice but every dish we ordered was sub par.
Friend and I went to experience the Seattle Restaurant Week menu. For lunch, the original offering is only for 2 courses, but the server offered dessert (third course) as an option for an additional fee. Since we knew that we wouldn't be able to come back, we took advantage. Food was delicious and satiating. I ordered pumpkin bisque, chicken parmesan linguini, and chocolate truffles. The food gave a fall and comfort food vibe. Overall the restaurant was nice, food was delicious, and we would consider going back again, maybe next time to take advantage of the actual wine bar.
I have been to both Claret and Fiasco on two separate occassions and enjoyed my experience on the Claret side doing wine tastings and felt the product was worth the price ambiance was great- a great place to grab chill drinks with out of town visitors or post work drinks. However, Fiasco food is tastes fine, but definitely not worth the over $100 spent on two personal pizzas and toast appetizer that we bought. You can find the same food in Moscow, ID for half the price tag.
Once again, had an excellent experience. I love that there are enough vegetarian and vegan items to choose from—and they are always happy to customize things a bit. It’s a bit loud, but I don’t mind that—it’s like dining in a cozy cave in the evening.
We were dining at Claret, on busy nights quieter.
The food was fabulous, all of the servers were friendly & super efficient. I loved that I could go into the "bottle shop" and select my own bottle of wine & that they have a sommelier on staff to help navigate the wine choices. Even though it is a bit of a drive to get to Fiasco, I'd definitely like to go back.
The menu on open table is not the restaurant’s menu. So frustrating!
Hello there! I apologize for the inconvenience; our menu changes seasonally and on Thursday the 17th, our new fall menu went live. It appears OpenTable does not reflect the most recent change and I have reached out to correct that. I apologize again, thanks for bringing this to my attention! -Samantha
Great place; great food for Sunday brunch, and our server was super accommodating. Went there to celebrate a birthday, and they gave us a complimentary cinnamon role to share, which was delicious, and even came with a lighted candle! My only complaint was that our server only refilled our coffees once. After the food was served, the follow-up service wasn't great, but still gave 5 stars because the service was so wonderful beforehand.
Prompt seating. Good server. Food was a bit pricy for what it was. We’d return
I always enjoy coming here. The food is so delicious, I’ve had a window table every time I’ve come. The restrooms are a little far away but other than that it’s a great spot! The hip clientele and staff make me feel young!
Amazing breakfast. Share the cinnamon roll. So delicious!
We had such a great evening with our friends!! Great atmosphere and the food was incredible!!
Food and service was good. Ambiance’s good, but it was a bit noisy then I was expecting.
Delicious food and cute restaurant. Service was so slow and automatically charged 20% gratuity. Water was almost always empty and we never got to order a second glass of wine as server didn’t come by much.
I met friends at Fiasco and had the best time. Tasted several wines, all excellent. Staff very attentive. The food was superb! I will go there again any time.
We waited a little too long for food. But when it came, it was great and all at once although we were a bigger group.
The Earl Grey has too much tea ...
We will come back!
Great servers and food...we’ll be back! All the pastas are great the gem salad I could eat every day 😎
Incredible food and service. Phil have the best pairing recommendations and made it such a special experience!
Better than expected. My wife has a gluten allergy and said their gf pizza was one of the best she's had. The risotto short rib with mushrooms was to die for. Noisy but worth it.
Food was pretty good with good sized portions. Nice ambience. Waiter was a little slow with service. Reasonable value for the money. Food needed better/more spices for some of our dishes. Pasta seemed home made. Will return at another time to try pizza and calzone, which looked good from what we saw of other patrons.
Amazing food. Amazing service. Incredible experience! It was fun to pick out a bottle of wine to go with dinner. 3 of us shared the margherita and figs got the blues pizzas, as well as a couple of pasta dishes (cacio e Pepe and the fried chicken). All incredible!!! But I can’t forget about the donuts! Italian beignets. You must try them! Their espresso butterscotch sauce was fantastic.
Delicious authentic Italian plus some new creative twists. True fresh pasta makes you never want to go back to the box. Excellent wine selection. Fantastic gelato. Very attentive, knowledgeable and personable waitstaff.
I wish they had more offerings for soup of the day, it was a satisfying meal and I would go back.
So fun to pick out your own wine from the wine shop instead of using a traditional wine list! Food was amazing
Fiasco is an attractive city wine bar/restaurant. We tried a sunday brunch and overall it was very good. As to value, the price points for items served is high and then a 20% tip is added. Would we go back...maybe!
Went for Brunch while on vaca to Seattle. They have a great patio if you have a furry friend with you. Dogs most welcome but patio tables are first come first serve so check in with them. There were some yellow jackets that interrupted our meal for a hot second but other than that it was a lovely time outside. I went a bit down in the ambiance because of the bees and because the music was a bit to club upbeat for that time of the morning, but that is a personal opinion more than anything. The food was delicious and service was good. Try the breakfast potatoes, super scrumptious!
We really enjoyed our evening at Fiasco & Claret. The food, wine and service were excellent. The only down side was the noise level made it challenging to have a conversation. We may try the wine bar instead of the restaurant for dining next time to see if it’s a bit quieter. And, we will definitely be back to check out the wine selection.
Great location, great food, fun atmosphere, it's my new favorite restaurant and I've recommended to lots of friends.
