Fiamma is a full service authentic Italian Restaurant featuring the first truly authentic Neapolitan Wood burning pizza oven in Monroe county. With an all natural flame our oven maintains an internal temperature of 1000 degrees cooking the pizza in 45 seconds leaving it with a truly unique taste and texture. The rest of our menu is reflective of traditional southern italian dishes native to the Campania region. With diverse ingredients and seasonal fruits and vegetables we strive to offer only the freshest available seasonal dishes. As the seasons change so will our menu.

The small, quaint dining room was designed to resemble an old fashioned Italian osteria. Rich with wood and other earth elements Fiamma is a warm inviting atmosphere. The Italian countryside was inspiration for both the menu and the dining space. While at Fiamma you will be greeted with a smile, and treated like family.

From the drinks to the dinner everything was fabulous!!! Our server was excellent. We started with too of maybe the best pizzas in Rochester. The 1000 degree oven with the fabulous dough makes it memorable. We finished with the rib eyes perfectly prepared and seasoned. A shout out to the bartenders, the Bourbon Manhattans were done to perfection. Why we always come back!!!

Beans & greens, pasta and risotto dishes were excellent. Portions are very generous. We took home 1/2 of our meals.

Would be 5/5 stars if we didn’t see the brunette man who worked in the kitchen outside smoking a cigarette and picking his nose for a consistent 5 minutes without washing his hands before delivering our caprese salad. We didn’t ask for a side of boogies. Washing your hands should be the bare minimum & required in any restaurant setting. I would think that’s a no brainer for anyone digging for gold around food.

The pizzas are superb, salads very good. The service, however, was awful. Our meal order was finally taken nearly a half an hour after we sat down shortly after 7 PM, and our main courses did not arrive until 8:45 PM an hour and 45 minutes after we sat down. There was an explanation that was there was some kind of mixup, but even after that explanation, the food didn’t arrive for at least another half hour. Given that we were a party of eight, we didn’t have any choice about tip, and it was already added to our bill. When we asked respectfully if there could possibly be an appetizer to tie us over, one small flatbread was brought to the table, and there was no other offer of anything for the interim. We ate there a while ago, and the service was acceptable then, and I’m wondering if something has deteriorated.

Sat immediately. Put in drink orders immediately. Took 20 minutes for drinks. 40 minutes for bread. Over 90 minutes for food. Over 30 minutes when asked for check. Would not allow for substitutions to any menu item (asked for no anchovies on a Stromboli). Food was ok but not hot when it came out. Will not go back.
