Great food and service!
Beautiful atmosphere / perfect for a fun group of friends. I would not suggest this as a place to go on a brunch date as the portions are humongous and every item on the menu is unavoidably messy.
Service was very attentive and they kept refilling my drink, which is important during a bottomless brunch. Food taste and presentation were outstanding. But, bring an appetite and a bib.
They had to seat us a bit later than they had hoped, but were extremely attentive. The manager had us wait in a private room and brought an appetizer on the house while the time passed and checked in throughout our dining to ensure the experience was great.
Fia is a restaurant that captures a beautiful open environment seasoned with modern minimalist textures. In addition to the environment being an experience of its own the food is a statement that carries its own weight. Be sure to try the handmade pasta and let the presentation feed your appetite along with the actual pasta. Make sure you’re thirsty and ready to practice restraint because the cocktails compliment the meal so well you’ll be saying “I’ll have another please”. Worthy of 5 stars.
Beautiful restaurant full of atmosphere. Delicious food , excellent service. True pleasure to experience such beautiful place !
Everything from Valet, Server, Food & Drinks were great! Our server (who’s name i didn’t get ) was sooo great! he went over the nightly specials and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back !
The place is beautiful and the food is really spectacular!! The texture flavor combinations just delicious !! The only problem was the service, you needed to catch the server he was not coming regularly to the table, drinks took forever to get to the table even food was there before drinks and we ordered drinks first . Also the music doesn’t go with the ambience of this place, 70’s 80’s music all night I just didn’t made that much sense ..
Wow I really don’t understand where the good reviews are coming from for this restaurant... My friends and I came to Fia for a girls day out and were just completely let down by the service and food. All of us ordered the capellini pasta, and it was TERRIBLE! (I wish I asked them to remake it, it was way too salty...) Not to mention that my friends and I all had an upset stomach upon arriving home, with a lingering feeling of nausea.
In regards to the service, our server Anthony was beyond rude when we nicely asked if we could speak to a manager about our meal (listen, we HATE IT when people ask for a manager, so you can imagine how bad the experience was for some college students to resort to this). Anthony proceeded to look my friend (who asked for the manager) up and down and said “yeah sure” and proceeded to walk over to his coworkers and laugh at our table. We waited for around 20 minutes for a manager to show up, but no one came.
Whatever, I just hope people will look elsewhere for a nice lunch or dinner with friends or your significant other because you may be cheated out of what could’ve been a nice experience.
Note for the restaurant: Adding truffle to everything on your menu is not going to make it taste any better.
The food was extraordinary. Each dish we ordered had so many flavorful layers.
The service was excellent. The staff knowledgeable and friendly without being intrusive.
A MUST GO TO.
They required us to order 2 plates even though the rules in Santa Monica say you just need to order 1 food item. Seems like a scam to upsell.
Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, friendly staff. We will come back for sur!
Incredible food! Everything was fantastic.
My three girl friends and I have been hearing great things about the restaurant and what a cute spot it is, which is totally true! Unfortunately, our brunch experience there ended terribly.
The restaurant did a very poor job with transparency about their prix fixe brunch. Our waiter never mentioned that brunch would be $59 per person, even if declining the bottomless mimosa offering. Two of us ordered ONE drink that was apparently not included in the prix fixe menu, which again was not mentioned to us at any point. Also "included" in the prix fixe meal is a plate of 5 pastries, which showed up as a separate charge of $87 on the bill. When we expressed our concern about the charges at the end of the meal, our waiter was defensive in claiming that he told us about the prix fixe menu and pricing - which was absolutely not true! Even worse, he told us that this type of thing happens every weekend! We proceeded to speak to the manager who removed the charge for the extra drinks, which was quite frankly a pitiful gesture served with a patronizing attitude.
Overall the food was average, service was poor, and the communication with customers was atrocious. Stop taking advantage of your customers! We certainly won't be returning.
One the best meals I have ever had. Great service and beautiful setting.
Everything about this place was amazing. Our server Brittney was awesome. The ambiance is just what i needed and loved. No regrets
Cute place !
Another amazing dinner at FIA with friends!! The ambience is so gorgeous, the design of the space is so beautiful.... always such a perfect spot for a date or dinner with friends. The chicken liver mousse was the hit last night, but my scallops were a close second- perfection!
Absolutely perfect meal served in a safe and gorgeous setting. Wow. Wow. Wow.
It was great
For how much you're paying, you would think the food and service would be amazing. I might have liked this restaurant better if it was at a lower price point.
Great spot. Love the outdoor space at the back and the food was spot on. If anything too much. I will know next time to order less. I will definitely be back.
Good food, great time! Drinks were on point. Our server was knowledgeable and not to pushy. We’ll be back.
To be honest, I was looking forward to our dine in experience and was disappointed by the food, service and everything else was excellent.
Yellowtail dish was over sour, the octopus was chewy and the leaf Cesar was a regular copped Cesar with store bought sauce and croutons the only difference was that it cost 20 something $.... the main course was hibachi which was not so good either...
Fantastic food / atmosphere and good overall service. Perfect for special occasion or a big night out!
I went to Fia for their $59 bottomless brunch experience. The outdoor patio is really pretty but we were seated in a spot where it was kind of dark up on the deck. The pastries were meh very dry not impressed besides the cinnamon cake which was decent . The main meal was good I got the truffle scramble on brioche which was delicious but the vegan lasagna was kind of bland. If you don’t drink a lot it’s definitely not worth it.
mediocre food, good ambiance, tables too close together.
The food, ambience and the service was outstanding!!!!
Valet parking man was not wearing a mask. That was our only complaint.
Amazing place the cook deserves a 5 star. The place is nice and clean. Unfortunately, I had Kristina H, and she was a garbage server but other than that place is nice. Will come again but for dinner this time
Brunch was perfect with the bottomless mimosas, pastries, and amazing food!
The service was a bit slow for the bottomless brunch experience and also for ordering. The food however was very good!!!!
Very good. Would have been nice if they did something special for my moms birthday
We were seated in a walkway indoor that looked like a makeshift room. There was a horrible draft and we froze. We did not ask for indoor seating, when I asked for outdoor seating the front desk girl gave me attitude. I made reservations far in advance and was bothered that they didn’t even try to accommodate me in any way. Also, I had mentioned it was for my birthday and was not acknowledged. Honestly I will never go there again.
Best dessert ever! Get the chocolate ball. So goood. Definitely higher prices point but worth it
Great food! Great service! The patio is amazing. Feels very intimate yet still spacious. Nice little gem in Santa Monica.
Fia was incredibly delicious with a relatively small but varied menu. The service was top-notch. There were four of us, on the elderly side, and we enjoyed sitting outside on a warm evening, separated by a good amount of space from other tables. My only negative comment would be that the prices were extremely high --- but since, we have not been out to dinner in a year, perhaps the prices are in line with what other restaurants on the westside are charging. The pastas were reasonable but other entrees were in the $40 range. One of the desserts was $20. An average wine was $70. Although it was delightful, we probably will not go back just because of price. We will leave this one to the young professionals! If you do go, you will enjoy the food - I had the best Caesar salad I have ever had and the pastas were very creative.
The best experience! I love chef food , I have been fallowing him to all his restaurants.
We reserved a table weeks out for on the patio which we did not get. They said we could wait to sit on the patio, but with having a reservation we did not think we should have to and didn’t want to wait. The room we sat in was nice, but part of the reason we chose Fia was for the patio. They did try and it make up to us with a complimentary appetizer and they comped my wine. We still enjoyed because the food was amazing.
Cool patio, delicious chips/salsa/guacamole, kind of missed having meat though. Overall a fun evening!
Food and ambiance were top. But the valet parking person was NOT wearing a mask nor gloves! This is totally unacceptable!
