   The brunch was just ok. I’ve been before. I think it was the pre set menu thing rather than quality of the food on another day

   Disappointed and Misled on Easter Brunch We made a reservation at Fia in Santa Monica through OpenTable for their advertised Easter Garden Brunch at $67, which was supposed to include pastries, an entrée, and bottomless drinks. However, when we arrived, we were told that this offer was no longer available. The staff mentioned that many others had made the same reservation, but the restaurant “didn’t want to bother” calling to let anyone know ahead of time. Instead, we were forced into a different Easter brunch option priced at $79, which only included pastries and an entrée — no bottomless drinks. To add that back in, it was an extra $24 and only had the option for mimosas no rose or margaritas like the brunch we had reserved for. We went last year for Easter brunch and the restaurant was much busier so it’s hard to understand the limited menu and menu cuts. If we had known this in advance, we absolutely would have canceled and gone elsewhere. There were plenty of amazing brunch options in LA that day, and it felt incredibly frustrating to be misled with no acknowledgment or effort from the restaurant to make it right. We left feeling like we had been scammed, and it’s disappointing that a restaurant with such a reputation would handle a holiday brunch this way. If you’re thinking of dining here, especially for a special occasion, think twice.

   Great patio space, great vibes, excellent service that kept the drinks flowing, and delicious pastries and entrees! Loved the shrimp and grits, the wagyu breakfast burger was also incredible!! Had a wonderful brunch!

   Celebrated my girlfriend ls birthday with Fia 3rd year in a row and we will be back next year! Cavateli, Shirt Rib, Brussels Sprouts, TIRAMISU are must try dishes.

   Love Fia...especially on a day like today... would prefer a less complicated brunch menu..I think they are trying too hard. Drinks are awesome. Good to see Rick back in the saddle.

   The brunch menu is very limited this an Italian restaurant should have Italian options like pasta, cheese etc not100$ fried chicken and and 100$ burger. If I go back it will be for dinner

   We had a wonderful evening at Fia. The outdoor seating was lovely and our server, Brittany, was amazing! She catered to our every need promptly and professionally. We started with the meatballs which were delicious…they practically melt in your mouth and the marinara sauce and accompanying bread …fabulous. Next came the salad. We are picky about our Caesar’s Salad, but Fia knocked it out of the park. We shared it which was good because it was huge. Served with fresh anchovies, very crisp romaine and the dressing was on point…perfect blend of garlic and lemon…neither overpowering the other. And the piece de resistance was our main entree which again, we shared…Parmesan Chicken. It was divine! First of all, it could easily feed three people. It was lightly breaded and very tender and moist. Seasoned just right with just the right amount of melted cheese on top and that marinara sauce!!!! Valet parking was a plus.

   Meh. This place isn’t as good as it used to be. Slow and inattentive service, average food. Won’t be back for a while.
