Jaya was our server. She was incredible. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu and restaurant. We are VERY impressed and will be back many times! A+
This was our second time at Fia in the last two months. Given that our first visit was incredible, we had very high expectations and we were not disappointed. The service, food, attention to detail by everyone to include the fabulous owners was extraordinary. When we forgot to order the hummus as an appetizer, another server was walking by, overheard my complaint (with myself) and took it upon herself to take the order and deliver it and later on in the evening to check back in with us to see if it was to our satisfaction. We will of course visit in the future; our only concern now is that everyone else will figure out incredible Fia is and it will be difficult to get reservations!
Great food & drinks, attentive service and warm and inviting ambiance.
Exceeded our expectations and will become our go to restaurant
What a lovely addition to the Buckhead dining scene! It is obvious that this place ( and the hotel for that matter ) was a labor of love.
From the minute we arrived we were treated to exceptional attention . I had the grilled marinated octopus and the soup and my dining partner had the wedge then the salmon and Brussels sprouts .
Food was thoughtfully prepared , plated and delivered without a hitch.
Beautiful decor and super staff!
First time at Fia and we were very impressed. Excellent service from hostess Abby, server Corinthian and manager Chet. We were made to feel like valued customers and couldn't have enjoyed the evening more. Everything we tasted was delicious and beautifully presented. We are delighted to have Fia as a Buckhead dining option and are sure we will be returning again and again.
Great everything including the hostess ABBY!!
We liked the atmosphere and the food however the service needs great improvement. We waited for the hostess to appear as we watched her seat a table of 4, give them their menus, chat with them, walk over and chat with a server, top off water at another table...we understood later why - they were understaffed on this Sunday night. We experienced long waits and while our server was very professional and knowledgeable, she simply had too many tables. Our food was wonderful - the wood fires octopus was tender and full of flavor.
Food was fabulous and so were the cocktails!! Staff was super attentive. Highly recommend!!
Great new restaurant and bar. Beautiful lobby. Enjoyed the beet and burrata salad and charred octopus (tender) and duck breast w red cabbage, potato gnocchi and half chicken and an excellent Barolo
The way the exterior entrance is laid out made it difficult for our Uber driver to take a right into the drive. The hostess was lovely and very welcoming. We were seated next to the kitchen which I thought might be loud and hot but it was fine. Our waiter was also welcoming and informative about the menu. Our cocktails came in a timely manner. When we started asking questions of our waiter about the menu things went downhill. I had seen beef tarter on the menu posted online and was looking forward to ordering that. When I asked if there was any way to still get that he responded with “no”. Not, “let me ask the chef”, “I’ll be happy to ask”, “could I suggest...”. Another person at the table was concerned with the fennel that was in the mussels and after some back and forth he said “looks like you’ll be having the salmon” with a sneer. After that exchange he failed to refill her water glass several times and never asked if she would like another drink. Her husband asked the manager for a drink for her and when the hostess brought it to the table our waiter commented that he didn’t place that order and wondered what was going on. It appeared that there were only 2 waiters in the dining room with lots of runners assisting. Maybe he was just extremely busy but it wasn’t a great experience. He apologized for the delay with our mains coming out (which we were fine with) and said we were second in line to be plated. Some 15 min later we still hadn’t received our entrees. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant but the service was lacking.
My husband and I went on a Saturday night. We had a drink in the bar library first. It is a beautiful comfortable area. For dinner I had duck breast and he had salmon, both were excellent. We also had the tomatoe risotto, which was rolled into balls and fried and tasted great. The octopus appetizer was also good. The waitress seemed stretched a little thin, but overall we enjoyed it and will definitely return.
Abbey the hostess and Jaya our server were amazing. The hotel and restaurant are beyond beautiful. If you are a fan of Farm-to-Table dining, Fia is the place to be. Thank you Fia for setting the standard of a 5 star restaurant.
A great lunch. Our server, Rae, was very attentive. The dining room is comfortable and appealing (and quiet) and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend FIA.
The food was good as was the atmosphere. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the way one of the hostesses acted when we asked for a different table. Despite having made reservations 6 weeks earlier and despite a number of empty tables (all of which remained empty during our dinner) she tried to seat us at table in the bar area right near the hostess stand. I asked her to move us which she did; however, she told me “you need to remember a lot of people want to dine here and I should be happy to sit wherever”. Totally rude and completely unnecessary. Almost ruined Valentines...
Excellent service and food. Always a hard decision as to what to order, but always first class.
Great Valentine's Day dinner.
First time to Fia & it was a lovely evening! We started out at the beautiful & inviting Mr B’s for cocktails that were perfection, thank you Wes! Then greeted warmly by sweet Abby who showed us to our table, spent extra time telling us about the hotel & restaurant, then assisted us with our next reservation. Brianna was our server & couldn’t have asked for better care & attention to every detail, she’s outstanding. Last but not least, our thanks & appreciation to Chef Daniel & his staff for a delicious meal from the appetizer to dessert, everything was amazing, fun & unique. Nothing cookie cutter here, just tons of talent & hard work! So thankful to have such a gorgeous place to escape to for the evening.
From the moment the valet greeted us, each step in the service process was surprising. Each team member greeted us with a smile and warm welcome. It has been a long time since I have experienced genuine and knowledgeable service. And the entire team did an outstanding attentive job. The menu with fantastic options! The food tasted delicious and the ambiance inviting. Highly recommend!!!
It’s Great can’t say anything else!
Visiting family and wanted to try it out! Excellent
Excellent everything! Could not fault it.
Great dining experience. In a hotel, who would have thought.
Excellent service and delicious food. Rey is a delightful server!
4 of us were very impressed with the hotel's decor, all the intimate spaces, and overall beauty. the dining room is lovely and comfortable, most of the food is very good...especially the duck, mussels, knochi, desserts. the hummus served hot, was not to our liking, and the fettuccini was WAY too spicy. unfortunately, we couldn't eat it. the menu does not indicate the amount of heat, and our server did not advise us. we are older and can't handle that much heat! the manager did not once come over to the table to see how we were doing. we waited almost one hour before we got anything to eat and no rolls or bread was served. not good. we will go back, but not until they get their act together a little better. it is a great idea to have a comfortable, intimate dining room in the heart of buckhead, and we do hope management gets better soon!
Great meal and service was great too!
Loved the decor, the energy of the place and of our server. Food was delicious.
We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked into this lovely restaurant. The building had recently reopened following a complete renovation. Everything was great from the meeting the hostess until we left the building and talked to the doormen. The servers were lovely and the food delicious. The owner/chef was present. We will look forward to go back soon!
My new favorite hidden gem. The food is uniquely delicious. Great wine selection and all staff friendly and accommodating.
Experience was good overall. Ambience is great, and they did an awesome job with decor in the bar area and restaurant. Service needs improvement though. Took 15 min + to get our drinks and service was just overall pretty slow even at the bar. Bar staff seemed to lack a sense of urgency and attention to detail that is appreciated at a boutique hotel. However - Food was delicious! Loved the branzino and the plating was nice on each dish. The hostess was also so nice and accommodating! She was on top of everything from Noise level to where we were seated and was very memorable and gave great recommendations. I think the manager was going around and touching tables which is always a good sign. I think once they roll out a few kinks with service expectations they will be good to go!
Beautiful decor. Excellent food. Friendly staff.
Excellent. Abby was so helpful at check in
Food was really amazing and the staff, including Corinthia was great. Will definitely return!
The decor in this newly renovated hotel is lovely. Beautiful fabrics, lighting and layout. Restaurant was warm and comfortable. Food amazing with view of grill kitchen. Best service I have had in a long time. We had dinner so now cannot wait to return for breakfast and lunch. Great option.
Great new restaurant in Buckhead. Great service and delicious food. For dinner tonight we had for appetizers octopus and tuna tartare and for main course duck and Bronzino with mushrooms on the side.
Will go back for a dinner again soon.
NO NO NO . Do not waste your time. Asian decore with American dishes but claim Mediterranean menu . ( pasta and hamburger )
Very unorganized. Completely understaffed. All the employees were running around doing 10 different jobs , busy chaos. They made us wait 45 minutes past our reservation time then we waited another 65 minutes for food.
I’m a very fair person but this restaurant is not worth the time. Food was very salty and greasy. The owner does not want to pay for more staff and professional training. Go to Houston’s or chops.
Great meal and fantastic service. We had the rice balls, field greens salad, salmon, mussels and mushrooms. Everything was delicious with the exception of the mushrooms, which were a over seasoned. Will definitely go back!
Food was excellent. The space is very attractive; the bar has a lively vibe. It was a very busy night and service had a couple of very minor glitches. But it could be forgiven in a new restaurant. We had a great time and will be returning.
We had a lovely dinner at Fia on Saturday night. The minute we arrived we felt welcome. From the valet, hostess, manager to Burgess and his wife we were wowed. The decor is amazing. Everywhere you look there are personal touches. The lovely chandelier in the entryway was designed by the owners daughter. There are fabulous photos of the family grandfather on Mt Everest. The service was perfect. Burgess himself checks each dish before it is served. Our meals were delicious. The roasted octopus and roasted humus were wonderful. We each ordered different entree’s and none disappointed. This will be a go to place for us.
