Hawaii Magazine Best New Restaurant Oahu 2017!
Rooted in the local farm-to-table movement — a place where seasonality and culinary tradition are celebrated in tandem.
One part Hawaii and one part Brooklyn. The atmosphere shares a brasserie feel with a laid-back island sensibility—a celebration and homage to all of our favorite things we enjoy eating and drinking.
Crafted with brick & reclaimed wood, our urban Hawaiian farmhouse features an open kitchen, lush plant wall, brick walls, and lots of natural light in a historic Chinatown building. The bar mixes classic and modern cocktails with artisanal flare with a well-curated wine list.

Always a nice meal for reasonable prices with friendly service.
Food was cold, dining outside was not good do you the excessive number of homeless people and drinks from the bar and strip club next door.
The ingredients in each item were really thought out and complimented each other! 10/10 would recommend.
Great food & service. We sat outside, so it was also colorful!!
Simply amazing. We accidentally showed up a day early for our reservation and they managed to fit us in even though it was a busy Friday night. Each dish is complex and creative, the ingredients super fresh and the preparation is delightful. Make the trip to Chinatown for this. It is worth it.
Amazing spot with unmatched hospitality! Do not hesitate!
Basically only rating our server as she was extremely hospitable. Don’t recommend at all for children. I mistakenly made 5:30 outdoor reservations and the sun was beating down that we couldn’t eat. Whoever the man at the front was he made us feel as though we were inconveniencing him by checking in for our reservation. We ended up not eating and left. Perhaps will try indoors without our children one day.
Had no idea until the bill came that the special was $45! Damn! For lunch! Wish they had mentioned that.
Chicken liver mousse 5 stars. Ditto for breads. Seafood (fish and prawns) a bit overcooked. Seared ahi excellent, though.
Food was fresh and very tasty and delicious! Server was super friendly. Would suggest sitting j side since the area the restaurant is located in is not the greatest. I totally don’t mind having homeless come up to me and ask for money but some people may have a problem with it.
Delicious food. Excellent guidance from server. Loved the spreads, basil caesar, Korean ranch, grilled prawns, olive cake.
This is the most extraordinary restaurant. Innovative, intense flavors, fresh, clean eating. I envy and applaud whoever manages to get a reservation. Just fantastic.
The Ahi special was awesome. Service was great. Will definitely return.
Another delicious meal at Fete. My friend claimed he ate the best grilled cheese sandwich of his life, and I love the new roast Ludovico chicken with tarragon that is on the menu this month.
Favorite place to eat in Chinatown hands down. Food and service is excellent!
This place is on fire! reduced number of tables inside but they have outdoor seating along Hotel Street - very entertaining. Menu seems slightly smaller but all of the favorites are there. (Chicken!). This is still our favorite Chinatown lunch spot...
We were seated upstairs away from the hustle and bustle which was pleasant. Much of the food is made on premise including many of the pasta and ice cream . The quality is excellent and quantity very generous.
One of my favorite restaurants in Honolulu. Always delicious, consistent and new surprises on the menu. My go to spot for lunch and dinner. The Chaz Burger, all the house made pastas, and Koji-brined chicken are must orders.
I have never ordered a dish at Fete that I didn’t like. It’s one of the few restaurants where I’m not afraid to order the specials.
Our waiter was delightful and professional. Great overall experience, the salads (B.L.T and pumpkin salad) were very tasteful. The Coconut shrimp could have had a scoop off rice but the shrimp was delicious!
Loved all the dishes and all the drinks! So happy to have see everyone. Keep it going!
Great food eclectic menu .....
If you're in "China town" Honolulu......Go, I had lunch outside which was very good.
Nice wine list ..!
We had a really nice dining experience: the food, cocktails and wine were did and the staff was on point. While being encouraged to order daily specials (bc my husband asked "what's really good"), we actually found regular menu items on par with the daily specials. The standard menu prawns are exceptional; the daily special mahi was okay. Would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
Truly a farm-to-table restaurant, with a variety of tastes on the menu that bears repeat visits.
Great and excellent service
Excellent meal and great service! The mahi mahi was especially delicious. Large portion sizes — perhaps even too large! We walked out stuffed. Highly recommend.
Service and food outstanding
Fabrice is an amazing bartender and guide. Thank you!
We are always blown away by fantastic new dishes. The service is a breath of fresh air. It’s worth the wait, it’s worth making a reservation and a special trip for
The food was amazing. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and helpful with all our dietary needs. Would highly recommend!
Great food and service. Super loud and difficult for conversation without yelling - adding to noise. Maybe some runners on the floor or wall art to dampen the reverberating noise.
Loved the deviled egg amuse-bouche. Their sour dough is so good. I had the fish that was the special that night. Perfectly prepared.
I’d definitely go back and I’d definitely recommend to others.
Food and service was great. Got a table upstairs which was terrific. Didn't know there was an upstairs. I will always try to get a table upstairs in the future.
A terrific experience and great reward for just picking a restaurant out of an online list, knowing nothing about it except what they say about themselves. The menu was varied, the food excellent, the service terrific, and, afterward, the waiter even went way out of his way to secure us a taxi on a busy Friday night.
Great service at the bar
Wonderful food and service. We sat outside in sidewalk seating so had a bit of traffic/passerby noise. Always amazing food--surprising and delightful.
One of our favorites on the island. Great service, great food. Always great specials
Food was good... dessert was great. Service was good. I had made a reservation and mentioned there that it was my birthday, but I guess that information doesn’t get carried forward to the restaurant... and since I didn’t mention it to the staff, they didn’t know either. The noise level inside the red was a little too loud for me.
fantastic food. great vibes. our waitress knew the specials incredibly well and described extremely in depth - while i appreciated that knowledge, it took a pretty long time for her to finish giving us the specials. the spreads were great, the sourdough is some of the best ive ever had and im from san francisco.
Great food! Area near restaurant can get less than ideal- advise eating indoors.
Owner came by and spoke with us, shared some tips from the kitchen and his experiences in NYC and inspiration for opening the venue. Food was great and we had a wonderful lunch.
