Hawaii Magazine Best New Restaurant Oahu 2017!
Rooted in the local farm-to-table movement — a place where seasonality and culinary tradition are celebrated in tandem.
One part Hawaii and one part Brooklyn. The atmosphere shares a brasserie feel with a laid-back island sensibility—a celebration and homage to all of our favorite things we enjoy eating and drinking.
Crafted with brick & reclaimed wood, our urban Hawaiian farmhouse features an open kitchen, lush plant wall, brick walls, and lots of natural light in a historic Chinatown building. The bar mixes classic and modern cocktails with artisanal flare with a well-curated wine list.

All good. Everything tasty and fresh! Everyone was please with their lunch plates!
Food and service was extremely delightful. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the ambiance and service. We read great things about the food and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area!
A great place for a business lunch. Had the quinoa burger, legit tasty! Partner had the Korean chicken sandwhich. So good. I wish they did breakfast....
Overall the food was delicious. I am a vegetarian so my meal selections were perfect. My husband’s chicken was deep fried as noted so he was a little concerned but once he broke into the skin He said he would have the same dish over again. The dessert was phenomenal and wine. We will be back! I should also add parking wasn’t that difficult. We did find street parking but was also told there Is paid parking nearby.
Food was good but service was slow and inattentive.
Best meal we’ve had in along time!! Get the Half Fried Chicken!
Fete has been and continues to be my favorite restaurant! The food is always fabulous and I enjoy the cocktails as well. (My two favorites are Spicy Kitty and Fete 75)
Lovely restaurant an easy walk from Iolani Palace, in a location which appears to be experiencing a "renaissance" (this is a GOOD thing). The beer/wine and food menus were both interesting, including the specials for the day we were there. The quality of the food was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed it! It's well managed, but the staff were stretched too thin, so don't be in a hurry if you're there at a popular time, but that is true in many places right now due to pandemic-hangover, so that doesn't lesson our review - just want folks to be advised that it may take some extra time.
We usually love Fete, but this visit was a sour note. The Hostess was a bit rude and rushed and our waiter seemed to be jousting with another nicer waitress for our table. The Spanish Ahi appetizer is normally very good, but this time it was clear they either pre-cooked/seared the ahi and held it in the fridge or did something else to it as it was quite cold and chewy. The salad was excellent, but the risotto was over seasoned with herbs and too heavy a sprinkle of breadcrumbs. Finally, Fete can be loud given the high ceiling and hard concrete floors so why we need background music blaring is a mystery. We found ourselves struggling to be heard at our small table and noticed others needing to raise their voices which just made it worse overall. Seriously, skip the music and hang some accoustic tiles. We come to eat and talk not yell at each other.
A nice place to enjoy good food with friends!
Fantastic service, great food, staff is friendly and attentive. Really great.
Come here often and they never disappoint! My son and I oved the lemon zucchini risotto, and my daughter loved her mon cheong fish in parchment paper, We're just sorry we didn't get to try the salmon wrapped in prosciutto that they had - but there's always next time! (Hopefully it's still on the menu).
Our waitress (Alex) was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She was working hard with many tables but we never felt ignored or without. One of the best servers we've had in any restaurant!
Never disappoints. This place is consistently fantastic.
Fantastic food and service!
Fete is a hidden gem...the food is absolutely amazing! Definitely the best meal we've had since arriving in Honolulu. Great service, good value, and a place we highly recommend!
Still the best place to eat in Chinatown. The menu is not extensive but comforting, reliable, and embracing. Eating here is like being invited to your best friends loft in SOHO and she just so happens to be a top restaurant Chef sharing a meal with you on her day off. Super special and intimate. The service here is attentive and personal. Pro Tip: The wine list contains treasures you will not find anywhere else in Honolulu. Parking sucks but walking back to your car after dinner provides a certain entertainment value that only Honolulu Chinatown can provide.
They never disappoint.
Excellent wine list. Service was spectacular, there was a slight incident with our order but it was handled beautifully. Booked a
Reservation at the sister restaurant for tomorrow. Thanks y’all!
The service was great and the food was excellent!
This was my fifth visit to Fete and as usual, the food was absolutely delicious, wonderfully presented, locally sourced and arrived in perfect time. Eleanor, our wait staff was bubbly, gracious and very well informed. Fete is becoming our go to place for pick up lunch and a nice week night dinner.
We were there at 3:30, so it was quiet. But very pleasant. We’ll go back for sure!
Great experience. Started off at a table adjacent to the kitchen but they quickly moved us to the bar. Great time.
Service was outstanding. The food and drinks were excellent. We’ll sit inside next time. The outdoors was too noisy with bus traffic and sketchy foot traffic. Otherwise we’ll worth it!
Fantastic! Food was absolutely perfect, service was attentive, helpful, and friendly.
My wife and I have dined at Fete numerous times and never have had a disappointing meal. The service and food always have been good.
Food took forever
Amazing food. Loved the off menu specials and the service was amazing and got the spicy cocktail in the kitty that was such a delight. The rocky road ice cream however is a freaking must. Mind blowing fresh and special.
Everything from the professional way they checked our vaccine cards to the impeccable service of our bartender on 9/18, the food, the ambiance, it was an excellent date night. Yes I will return again.
Really great spot! Service was so great… good cocktails and loved the tuna special and carbonara. Highly recommend!
Amazing food, great service, really lovey night out!
Our best meal in Oahu. I cannot recommend it enough.
Cocktails to appetizers to entrees and dessert, what a great dining experience! Our server knew seemingly every detail about the entire menu and the bartender was able to make bespoke drinks based on my flavour profile. I look forward to my next visit to Fete
The food and drinks are fantastic. Everything is planned with minute details in mind. Love this place.
Go here and then see Chinatown! 💗
I had the red snapper special. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The whiskey selection was also on point.
Wow, the food was amazing. Our waiter was wonderful. He really knew his menu and recommended different menu items. He made suggestions for wines and cocktails.
All in all, one of the best dining experiences I ever had. We will be back!
Great service and amazing food, what more could a person ask for?
Outstanding service. Good was super fresh & delicious. Safety protocols were excellent. Would definitely go back there again!
