One part Hawaii and one part Brooklyn. The atmosphere shares a brasserie feel with a laid-back island sensibility—a celebration and homage to all of our favorite things we enjoy eating and drinking.
Crafted with brick & reclaimed wood, our urban Hawaiian farmhouse features an open kitchen, lush plant wall, brick walls, and lots of natural light in a historic Chinatown building. The bar mixes classic and modern cocktails with artisanal flare with a well-curated wine list.

Very accommodating. Weird combinations but it works.
Pre Birthday Dinner. Fete is our go to restaurant for any special celebration. We could easily stay home and never go out to eat. My wife is an amazing Chef and we know where to go to buy the best fresh shrimp, prime beef, ordering quail and squab from D’Artagnan, Caviar and wild mushrooms from the East Coast and wine from Zachy. But we still go to Fete. Unique and creative dishes. The beat wine list created by owner Chuck Bussler and the most awesome staff who know everything about each dish and convey the true Aloha Spirit. But best of all the health and safety is their #1 priority. 6’plus!, temperature checks. Whipping down constantly and always wear face masks and that includes all customers. What more can you want.
Best meal we had in Honolulu! Everything was delicious, especially the cheese grits, basil Caesar salad, and mushroom cavatelli. We requested to sit at the counter, which is no longer at the chef’s counter but at the window counter. Would definitely dine there again!!
Great cocktails and excellent food. Spaghetti carbonara is probably the best on the island.
This was the first time my daughter and I had dined at Fete. Everything about the place was wonderful, not to mention the food which was OUTSTANDING! Perfectly seasoned, good portion sizes, and incredibly tasty. It's a multiple repeat kind of restaurant. I can't think of one thing negative to say. We'll definitely be back!
Great place with great food. They have very interesting cocktail and wine lists as well. Appetizers were really good. We had chicken liver mousse (very flavorful), steak tartar (interesting take with crispy shallots, amazing bread with anchovy butter. They make their own bread as well), deviled eggs. The radicchio salad was one of the specials and did not disappoint. My husband had one of their salads with steak and a side of foie and an octopus dish. Everything was cooked perfectly. Octopus was very tender. The only disappointment was the risotto with beef cheeks. The beef cheeks were dry and the entire dish was under seasoned. Overall a solid spot.
Excellent wine list, inventive dishes, awesome wait staff, free street parking after 6pm - what more could you want?

They have a new Mushroom Salad on the menu. Add steak and make it a meal. You won’t be sorry!
We were a family’s of 6, 2 adults and 4 children. Due to covid we had two tables. The food was good, what left a bad taste were the scallops. The special of the day ended up costing more than my steak entre. I have never paid this amount for four scallops in all of my dining out. There was commotion outside and who I believe to be the manager was very involved with the police presence. My food took a long time, the waitress apologized for it. The manager was more concerned with the volume of my phone than my meal and time. Definitely not kid friendly, we had diner at the Disney Hotel, and the cost was comparable and we had more food. Will not be recommending this place to any families.

We always receive superb service here- it is one of the reasons we keep coming back. But the menu does not discount either- the appetizers are always as good as the entree. We had a romantic experience as the ambiance is always stylish and understated.
Amazing! I don’t know why it’s taken us this long to dine at Fete. Hands down amazing dishes and service. We had their Valentines menu. Started with scallops and ahi spread, followed by Ludo’s chicken and the rib eye w/ salsa verde, and finished with lots of sweet treats - cannolis, beignets, and panna cotta. Delish!
it was Valentines day so there was a set 3 course meal. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. A great cocktail selection as well as beer and wine. The food was not your run of the mill dinners. Very creative with flavors and presentation. Basically it was very delicious to the eyes and especially the tummy. With very generous portions we left very full. A great place for food. highly recommended.
The food and service was wonderful! Fabrese (spelling?) was our waiter and he was great! He Recommended a wonderful bottle of red that we thoroughly enjoyed! And compliments to the chef EVERYTHING was delicious! I’ve never had chicken taste that good!

Great original and delicious food! We just had dinner there twice in one week it was so good the first time. The cocktails and wine are really great too. Atmosphere huge plus!
The service was outstanding, The feel of Fete is very relaxed, but I had the steak and it was not a good cut of meat. My friend had the pasta and said it was very good.
Overall, It was a little pricy but our server went out of her way to make the night more enjoyable.
I will go back again, but will not order the steak.

Food came out cold. The steak was so tough it was practically inedible. For the price I recommend going someplace else. No value here whatsoever.

Deviled eggs were yummy. I love the trout roe! It was such a fitting size, made it still look elegant.
The liver mousse I wasn't too sure if I was going to enjoy it but we both LOVED it. Our waiter had mentioned, Chef would like you to experience it like a PB and J. The sour cherry marmalade was sooo good and the liver mousse was so smooth and creamy. Must haaave.
I ordered the mushroom cavateli. Good stuff!!! Not too heavy. Nice balance of salty from the olives and umami from the mushrooms and sweet and sour from the lemon preserves.
The Milanese risotto was yummy! The beef cheeks were super tender and depth in flavor. I would've like to see the risotto more creamier, maybe more a tad bit more Parmesan but I'd eat that again!
The Laie vanilla ice cream was so rich, you can definitely taste the difference with local ingredients. The lychee rose sorbet was my favorite!!! Sweet, tart, and refreshing all in one bite.
I appreciate all the layers and depths of flavors put into each dish.
We chose to sit outside due to COVID. Hotel street is not ver scenic, but it was casual and safe. The food was good, but the service was GREAT! Josh was our server. He knew the menu, his recommendations from the specialty cocktail list was spot on. He went out of his way to answer questions about ingredients in the Fete salad.
Food is delicious and make sure you ask for Josh to be your server!

Fete is always a wonderful experience. The food is delicately and intentionally prepared for a delicious experience. The drinks from the beer to wine to cocktails are phenomenal. One of my husband and I’s favorite date night spots 💕

There is a varied menu along with specials. There’s also a good selection of cocktails.
There was only one waiter for about 5 tables which made the service terrible, honestly the only thing good about this place was the Korean steak everything else was very poorly done.
The food was fantastic. They had great specials that the waiter knew well. We will definitely return!!!

Completely ridiculous. We traveled a half a world away (from NYC, ironically) having specifically made a bar seat reservation. The host/ manager did not have a seat ready for us when we arrived on time so we tried to be accommodating and offered to sit outside which was on a side street littered with coughing mentally ill undomeciled individuals which felt very unsafe and threatening. This was too much to bear and we asked to be seated where we had reserved. We were then ushered into a lobby in front of a stairwell for about 10 minutes where we just sat. Next, we were put in seats in a narrow walkway literally opposite the kitchen where we could feel the heat and fry grease along with kitchen orders being SHOUTED out. We let the host know this would not work for us and were simply told the seats we reserved would not be available and “we went late tonight”. Ultimately, we left before being served. This place should NOT advertise its NYC background as it can absolutely not manage its guest flow and seating times. A complete travesty; this place should be ashamed.
