It’s awesome. You don’t need a reservation. It’s outdoor seating with no host, so you seat yourself where ever there is space. Mostly community tables. Great bbq. Fun live music.

Embarrassingly bad experience. AC didn't work. Toilet was clogged. We went there for a ferris wheel that they apparently no longer operate but wasn't posted anywhere on their website/facebook/etc.

The barbecue was delicious. I especially enjoyed the brisket and the beans. The service was so fast! Even though they were busy, we got through the line quickly, and our food was delivered almost as soon as we sat down. The backyard area with corn hole games to play was so fun and a great place for our group to take pictures and relax.

What a great find!! We ate outside by the ferris wheel, had a great server, and terrific BBQ. A little oasis in the middle of the fashion district. We'll be back.

Reservations were not necessary, they had no method to track reservations anyway. You can order at a counter or sit in the “backyard” for table service. Note that there are kids running and playing. The ribs were good, but the areas of fat on the ribs were unappealing. The Ferris wheel was not in operation, and honestly appears that it is just decoration.

Their BBQ turkey, ribs, and sides were delicious. We were there at an odd time, so it was very quiet. Would like to see what the patio area is like when they are busy.

Ferris Wheelers is a really fun place. Make sure to try their fried pickles as they are particularly yummy. This is one of the the few restaurants I have been to where I would say you do not want to skip desert. Their peach cobbler is heavenly! If you like a warm soft doughy cobbler this one is the best!

They need a Ferris wheel that actually works! Whole reason we went was for an experience - eat lunch and ride Ferris wheel. The backyard isn’t open til 4 and the wheel doesn’t even operate!

Inside tables were filthy; had a reservation which was ignored and had to ask staff to clean the tables. Appetizers were brought without any napkins, plates or silverware (had to ask 3 times). Food was good but not in a hurry to go back based on experience.

Great food, tried the Texas Trinity which was a hot link, 2 pork ribs and brisket. Some of the best pork ribs I’ve ever had, fall off the bone good. I’m not a big brisket guy, but when in Rome. It was good, I just don’t get the hype. The hot links was ok, had some tough spots in it that I had spit out. The 2 BBQ sauces they provided were pretty tasty, I just wish there was more of a selection. Service was fantastic, quick and our waiter made it around quite often. The prices are fair for the inflation right now, happy hour deals are pretty good too. Atmosphere is super cool, we ate early but people were coming in by the droves so I bet it really picks up. Overall really good TX bbq experience.

There was no service at the picnic tables for ordering drinks or food and we brought a bunch of kids and the ferris wheel was not going. There isn't much info on the website - some of this would've been nice to know before we drove all the way there.

We enjoyed our meal. Went with the Full Ride, all smoked meats and 3 sides. The potato salad and slaw were a tad bland but still good. The beans had a pork n beans flavor which was unexpected but still good. The meat was delicious and there was more than plenty for us 3. We also had the fried pickles and fried okra. They both have a house seasoning that was on the heavy side. We scraped it off a bit and was good. A great atmosphere with a band playing while we ate and watched football. The band was not too loud so we could easily talk to each other. The only drawback was service. It took a bit to be seated and we had multiple servers that we had to ask for the same items more than once. They were slow but they were all very friendly. It was a little busy but it did not seem overwhelmingly so. Maybe just a bad night for them. Had to park out on the street as they have a small parking lot. Overall good food and good time and good value. Their prices were very reasonable for BBQ.

Went on TX OU weekend which was busy. We had reservations for 7. They cleared a table for us quickly. Fun vibe with live music. Brisket was good. Okra was spicy but I really liked it. Definitely recommend on a nice fall evening.

It took awhile to be actually waited on. Two other parties got waited on prior to us even though we were seated first. Once we finally flagged someone down to order it was a little better. The food was good. A different kind of BBQ. Still very delicious. The corn was amazing. Definitely a highlight. They forgot half of our order though. So had to ask again. Overall the crowd was good. Weather was nice. Food delicious. Loved the feel of the place.

Although there were very few people there at 5:30 on a rainy Saturday, we were forced to pay 5.00 for valet parking. Option to park on street but no spots due to crowd at next door restaurant. Make sure you come with 5.00 cash because valet doesn’t do credit cards. Food- ribs and bbq brisket were just ok. Tender but lacked impressive flavor. Not any better than any other bbq place. For the ratings, I expected so much more. Favorite side was the Mac and cheese. It was great. Okra was too spicy for me. I won’t be back. No need to pay five bucks to park for just ho hum bbq.

I made a reservation for 10 a month before the event. I arrive on time and they tell me to sit anywhere. There are no tables where 10 people can sit so we had to put 2 tables together ourselves. It wasn't a big problem but they acted like they didn't even acknowledge our reservation and this was an event very important to me. I had people arrive and not get asked what they would like to drink for 10+ mins and same for refills. This is not the wait-staffs fault, they let me know that they only had 2 waiters for the entire yard full of people (could be call-outs or people quitting). I am not recommending Ferris Wheelers if you are wanting to make a reservation for a large group, but I would recommend if you are just going for lunch/dinner.
