Service was great but food was just okay. Not nearly as good as we thought given the ratings we saw here.

Minimal value for experienced BBQ diners. Dingy setting, sticky tables, dirty bathrooms, limited menu (no chicken!!), an hour to get a baked potato (seriously), bad green beans, I could go on and on. Not Recommended.

Good bbq and friendly staff. The rain prevented us from going out back.

Happy hour is what brought us to Ferris Wheelers and after our experience, it would take alot more to return. You walk in feeling a little lost with no one at the front guiding you so you don't know if it is a sit down place or a go up and order restaurant. The drinks were not mixed properly, both of our first drinks were all alcohol on top and mixer on the bottom. The food is the only redeemable aspect of this place. We ordered the brisket queso which was really good. We also ordered some waffle fries but those were forgotten to be put in and so we didn't get them till way into our time here. Mind you there was one other table in this place besides us at the time. The most unsettling and baffling part of this experience was when they started to clean the dusty fan blades. Two employees worked there way around the dining room cleaning off the blades and instead of waiting until the tables (ours and one other remember) left they had us move in the middle of us eating/drinking/trying to enjoy our time to another table. It might sound like a stupid complaint, but why not wait until we leave to get that fan? The place was empty, other fans were cleaned, why not just wait. Idk I left there not wanting to go back. It seemed that people were enjoying Rodeo Goat (next door) better so maybe we'll go there next. All in all, if you go to Ferris Wheelers, good luck.

This must have been bad day for them. Ribs and brisket were not cooked nearly long enough. I couldn't pry the rib meat off the bone. Sausage was good.

OpenTable allowed us to book a reservation for this location, however they weren’t open on the day we booked which was very unfortunate (Tuesday 9/24). Restaurant and open table need to work together to confirm actual available times based on open days of operation.

Very run down place, though they may have intended it to be that way. BBQ counter you would find in any backwoods off the freeway part of Texas. For starters, the brisket doesn't have any smoke enhanced flavor to the meat at all. Which makes me think it was simply over seared, charred and oven baked. Brisket isn't trimmed - so you have a deep layer of fat. Sausage is passable in flavor but dry overall - could use some fat blend to keep some moisture in it. Ribs were ok, again no smoke flavor to it. BBQ sauce is on the tangy side - overall definitely what I wouldn't expect restaurant or even side of the road quality. I'd say even Buc-ee's is better than this place.
