Located in one of Victoria's oldest buildings, Ferris' Upstairs Seafood And Oyster Bar presents deeply coloured wooden floors and rich brick walls accented by candlelight.

Featuring the best in fresh seafood from our local waters, and premium steaks from Alberta. It's a great place to lounge and enjoy what Vancouver Island has to offer. Small plates and large, our menu changes weekly based on the best in available produce and season.

We boast an extensive wine list from Europe, California and Canada. Six rotating craft beers on tap and carefully curated cocktails featuring local spirits and house made ingredients.

Seafood, meat, vegetarian and vegan options available. Kids welcome.

We enjoyed an amazing 35th wedding anniversary dinner on Friday. Made a reservation for the upstairs dinning room. Kate was our amazing server & the staff signed a thoughtful anniversary card. We started with 1/2 dozen fresh oysters & also fried oysters, an old fashioned & a glass of Rose! Everything was perfect & really delicious! Ordered watermelon salad, Humboldt Squid & halibut! Everything was amazing along with a glass of Taittinger champagne. A perfect evening. No room for dessert. Thanks to the entire Ferris Upstairs Seafood & Oyster Bar Staff. We would strongly recommend this restaurant & will return!

The food, staff and ambiance was very good. The first impression walking up the stairs to its second level revealed that downstairs restrooms were underneath the stairway and the stench was sewer-like.

Delicious and interesting food. Not one disappointment. $23 for three sauced baked oysters seemed a lot but our party thought it was tasty.

As Prairie dwellers visiting the coast I must say this was an amazing experience - The staff answered all our questions patiently and made appropriate suggestions, the atmosphere is great and the food delicious.
