The food was fantastic and the place has a wonderful ambiance. In addition, Manuel, the Manager, sat at our table and offered us delicious grappa after desert. Wonderful experience. We will be back soon.
Great Sunday brunch! Really enjoyed the food, music, and atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Brunch was delicious.
Obsessed! Feroce exceeded our expectations.
Service, ambiance, food were all exceptional! Manuel made us feel like queens and genuinely cared to make sure our dinner experience was wonderful. Highly recommend the pasta and branzino which is prepared tableside. My new favorite Italian restaurant!
Feroce was the best dinner I have had in a long time. The food if unbelievable. The food is just the beginning, the staff was my favorite part of the experience. Beyond attentive and incredibly friendly. The managers are amazing!! Ive never had an experience like my dinner at Feroce!
Given the collaboration with antica pesa, I expected the food to be just as good. Contrary to this notion, I don’t think I’ve had worse pasta in NY. Pasta was hard and chewy (and I like al dente), the sauce was bland and the whole meal just lacked any real flavor. A beautiful restaurant - it’s just a shame that the food was underwhelming, and the reason why we’ll never go back.
Very simple but authentic and tasty Italian dishes. Our party of 5 enjoyed all courses and really appreciated the attentiveness of the owner, staff and chef. All made it a point to great us and see how we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit. By the way, the pizza restaurant on the second level has a tremendous vibe to go along with the very good pizza.
Waited 45 minutes past our reservation for a table. 3 pieces of cheese on the shared meat&cheese plate, the steak came out before pasta, and the sommelier made a mistake that we paid for.. awful meal. Go elsewhere
Knowledgeable waiter. Lovely vibe and ambiance. Delicious food and good value
Everything was perfect, the food is so good and fresh, really Italian one. I am Italian...
The restaurant was full but no noisy! I can’t wait to come back and have frittura di pesce!
Abbiamo aspettato un po’ prima che il nostro tavolo fosse pronto, è solo alla fine, dopo esserci un po’ lamentati il personale ci ha offerto un bicchiere di prosecco per l’attesa. In generale il cibo era buono.
I dined with a friend and we LOVED IT! Very special restaurant, sophisticated but so comfortable and
friendly and such a great time! I will go back again with a group of friends.
Wonderful food, service and ambience !
Super cute place but very quiet for lunch time. Amazing food, and service
I always like this place, and brunch with Live music is a nice experience. Usually eating here is pretty expensive, however you can get the Fixed price Brunch on Sundays for $35 which is a very good deal.
The only negative point I’d have to underline is that I’ve been here twice (once for dinner and once for brunch) and both times the amount in the final bill was not matching what I ordered; I hope they’ll fix it as it’s pretty annoying pointing out some mistakes on bills all the time.
Come sempre all'estero si cerca il ristorante italiano, non perché manchi l'Italia, ma solo per mangiare qualcosa di commestibile
I ragazzi del Feroce sono veramente mooolto bravi! Complimenti!
Excellent food and service. Veal Milanese best in Manhattan
Grande ristorante e grande Francesco! Voto italianità: 10 e lode.
Non vedo l'ora di tornare, a presto!
I had the eggplant mozzarella and tomato starter which was tasteless. Left a fried taste in my mouth. Then I had the ravioli which was too rich. Finally I chose the Sgroppino. In Italy they make it at the table, whisking the components into a light fluffy tangy delicious dessert. At this restaurant it ended up in a wine glass and resembled a liquid version, not good. Overall, the ambiance was great, the service was OK but the food really didn’t live up to the level one would expect for the prices paid. 1 out of 5
I am generally not a critic of Italian food, but I felt strongly enough to express my disappointment
Seated soon as we arrived on a Saturday evening. Food, service and overall experience was exceptional and we will go again. Nice choices on the menu. The wine list has only a few wines in the $ 80.00 range and the rest are just too expensive. They need more mid range wine near or below $ 100.00
Poor seevice and very noisy
Small portion and came out cold
Once again, another stellar restaurant by the Tao group! I’m a huge fan! they have a great recipe of skilled chef, great cuisine, wonderful wine and drink selection, fantastic service and overall awesome management! Bravvo!
Consistent excellent food and service. Great place
Amazing location and high quality food. I’ll be back soon.
Nice & modern italian restaurant.
Very good 3 course lunch (prosciutto, tuna salad, tiramisu).
Dinner was fantastic. Francescco is a great host.
Outstanding authentic Italian food and wine.
The appetizers gnocco fritto and fried eggplants were sublime.
The bucatini amatriciana were cooked to perfection al dente.
The guanciale was crispy....and melting in your mouth.
The tiramisu’ was out of this world. A perfect blend of mascarpone cream and coffee.
Best Italian restaurant I have been to in the past 19 years since I moved to the US.
The food was amazing! Definitely will recommend to others. I loved that it wasn’t loud and we can hear each other talk and had our personal space.
Went for Sunday brunch. Pros: lovely, light-filled setting. Comfortable and cozy booth. Friendly and quick service, including several personal greetings from owner Francesco Panella. Fabulous bread basket, which included at least 5 choices, served with soft butter and strawberry jam. Food came out quickly, was nice and hot, and just delicious. Can highly recommend the scrambled eggs arrabbiata. Cons: a lovely band combo was playing during brunch. They were really good, but were so loud we were unable to carry on conversation at our table. Only other con (and this applies to so many restaurants) - make sure water for tea is piping hot because it starts to cool down on the way to the table, otherwise the tea just won't steep.
Food, service and ambience was great. However, little pricey compared to similar quality of food / experience elsewhere.
We were here for a birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and festive and perfect fir the occasion. The service was superb. The food not so much, though the presentation was very nice. It was good though Nothing special. Kind of like what you’d expect at a favorite neighbors spot. So the price was quite out of line. Not much value. To top it off, the AC was more like a wind and when we asked if it could be turned down our waiter said it would take a few minutes but yes they could turn it down. When it kept blowing away we asked some one else who said they had no control over it - only the hotel did.
I live across the street from this restaurant and I really hope they get it together because I’d love to come back.
So happy that I tried this place out - as I normally have a hard time finding restaurants that I like in this area. The food was SOO GOOD and the ambiance was amazing! I would 100% recommend!!
I found the food to be very average Italian fare. I love Antica Pesa-so thought this would be the same creativity and taste..not so. super loud on a Saturday night--many groups
Made reservations for a friend's 45th birthday. The service was incredibly slow. And then it turned rude when our server gave an attitude when we asked for the manager. The manager, who was very nice, tried to salvage the dinner and got things to move along but they missed a full course and the food and drink prices are not cheap for the experience we had. It was very loud, not that much ambience or personality, expected more from a Tao Group restaurant. So many better NYC restaurants.
With a 6:45 reservation, the noise level was very good. However, it really amps up as it gets a little later. Food did not disappoint and the table side Sgroppino was fantastic.
Dads birthday. Was great
1 year Anniversary
We felt like we were the only people there! The food and service were amazing!
Service was excellent; however, food was subpar. Ambience was incredible.
