Join us at Ferlito's for great Italian home cooking and great service in a family-friendly atmosphere. For over 30 years we have been specializing in authentic Italian entrees. We offer an extensive menu of customer favorites including: homemade chicken pastina and minestrone soup, baked lasagna, chicken and veal parmesan, fettuccini alfredo, chicken siciliano, just to name a few.

We're also known for our hand-tossed round pizzas or Chicago style deep-dish pizzas. All of our pizzas start with our pizza dough we make from scratch and are topped with a blend of quality mozzarella, provolone chesses and are baked to order in our stone-lined oven.

I had the Sicilian Sampler. Very good. It should come with bread or rolls. I had to ask for it. Came back with only one roll. No need to be cheap on the bread. Other than the roll issue,everything was very good, including the background music. I love the oldies

My adult son & I both enjoyed your Marsala. He had the chicken and I had the veal. They were both scrumptious. We also both enjoyed the delicious tomato basil soup. Finally our waitress was informative and attentive. Great Place!

Are we stuck in the 1970’s? Everything about this place screams outdated. The service was fair, the atmosphere was like being in the 70’s but the food was horrible. My wife ordered the tomato-basil soup. It was the same tomato sauce used on the pizzas. And speaking of pizza, I ordered Margherita pizza and it came without basil. The waitress offered to get some dried basil and explained that the chef would be back soon with some fresh basil (had to run to the grocery store) but I declined. What Italian restaurant runs out of basil? Grosse Pointe residents, and visitors, deserve better restaurants and service.

The restaurant is now charging a service fee on credit cards and Open Table debit cards. The pizza had little sauce on it and they charge $2.00 for extra sauce. Very few restaurants charge for this. Tomato basil soup was lumpy. The owner made himself unavailable to discuss customer complaints.

The eggplant Parmesan was not fully cooked so not very good. The cocktails we ordered were pretty expensive and just tasted like fruit juice. The cheese ravioli was good.

Server Andy was great. Food was pretty decent but nothing outstanding. Wine was, quite frankly, AWFUL! Steer clear of Chardonnay & Chianti Classico. Ambience? I love classic rock but not in an Italian restaurant!! Also, maybe buy some dimmers for the overly bright lighting. Nice prints on walls & if only their wine list contained some of the wines from the slats of wine crates decorating the walls.

My family has been going to this location since it was called Carmens and have been very satisfied. But we thought we would try under under the new owners. For one thing we miss the salad bar replaaced be a bar which it did not need. Also some the menu items that were favorites are not offered. You must have a new cook because the food lacks flavor. I ordered the steak and it was not fit to eat. It was tough and like a big chunck of beef and it was spose to bee a choice ribeye. And the sjouce was tasteless. Under the prior owners ho was got to know as friends. I whsh you success you are going to kneed it.
