Fantastic food and service, always a great meal with each dish a masterpiece; I would highly recommend Fenicci's for any occasion.
We visited this restaurant in mid-February for a date night. It was amazing. The service was tops, the manager visited our table and provided recommendations, the food was outstanding. We enjoyed it so much that we booked to return with friends a month later. We were so excited to share this gem with them...We had reservations for March 17th. We were seated immediately by a wonderful hostess. We were so excited to share this place with our friends. Unfortunately, that is were the excitement ended. We were “greeted” by a waitress. She seemed annoyed, but said hello. We ordered drinks. The two gentleman ordered draft beers. My friend asked for a “green” beer to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The waitress said we don’t do that. My friend smiled and said “that’s ok! No problem!” The waitress said, “wait. I will check with the bartender...” again, my friend said “no. No. It’s fine. I don’t want that. Please don’t waste your time, it’s really ok!”
The waitress went anyhow and asked. The bartender said no. He couldn’t do that. The waitress returned and said no. He said he can’t do that. My friend said “again. No problem”
The waitress, I would imagine trying to be funny uttered “and you made me go over there, take my time and ask him anyhow?”
Again, maybe funny, but it was uncomfortable to us especially after we specifically were kind enough to tell her no not to bother to ask that she decided on a different drink.
Order of 2 beers and 2 Pepsis were put in. 17 minutes later the beers came. 3 minutes after that, the 2 sodas came. The waitress said, “I am sorry. I totally poured your sodas a while ago and just left them sit back there. When I realized. I dumped them out and had to pour you two new ones. That is why it took so long”
From that point things were uncomfortable.
Poor service ruined the evening. We did leave her an 18% tip. Not because she was good, but to show her that we were good people and understand people have “off nights” but you still need to rise above.
Although your server had her hands full with the kids wrecking havoc a table over from us, she found time to satisfy all our needs. The food was amazing and so were the prices. Will absolutely come back here and recommend to friends.
I was very disappointed in the family style salad -- too much iceberg lettuce which is not very healthy. Also, the seating is very crowded and noisey on a Sat. evening. Otherwise, I loved my entree and was extremely satisfied with it. Service was excellent!!
Great meal and service at a fair price! I recommend setting a reservation though, as there was a wait on a Wednesday night.
My wife had the veal parm. It was tough/inedible. Sent it back and asked for a few meatballs instead. Were charged for the veal
I had been there 5 years ago and remembered how great the food and service was so when I found out I was coming back for business I immediately made reservations for my group. Everyone was ecstatic with the food and the great service Kelly Y. provided. I returned the next evening and asked them to make something off the menu ( Sausage and Peppers Parmesan). They said sure no problem and it was fantastic. I live 5 hours from Hersey and am considering driving some Saturday for dinner, that is how much I it. Great people, great food and great atmosphere make Fenicci's the place to go when you are in Hershey PA.
Excellent food at a good price with a very nice atmosphere and very good service!
Very pleasant staff. Mary are waitressed was very polite and helpful. It was a great memory for our family and my daughter’s 18th birthday. We will be back from Philadelphia
Fenicci's has a wonderful fresh menu. I've never had Calamari as fresh. The downside, there are tons of tables in the room with loud rowdy groups. It detracts from the dining experience. However, I would return as the food was spectacular.
Overall great food, service and proces
Great food and gathering with friends. Saturday evening was Very busy which made for high noise level making conversation with friends difficult.
Will reccommend to others and dine there next time I am in Hershey.
Great food great service as always!
Our first visit! It was wonderful! Our waitress Kelly was so nice and on top of things our food was so darn good! We will be back
Very good food, as always. Fenicci's never disappoints. The seafood alfredo was excellent and my spouse's Ahi tuna was equally delicious. The tiramisu was incredibly yummy....how we found room to eat it, I don't know since we both ate every speck of dinner. I like that the salad course is served "family style" so each person can take as much salad and put on as much dressing as each likes. My only complaint is that we sat directly under a ceiling speaker and the music was a bit loud, but it didn't ruin our dinner.
Food is delicious and wait-staff very attentive and energetic
Give it a try may have been an off night. Our experience wasn’t the best but certainly not the worst.
Hadn’t been there in ages. Surprised by the delicious food and good prices. We are locals and will now go back often.
My hubby and I ate here before seeing a show at the Hershey Theatre. Our food was outstanding! He had the Butcher Block with penne pasta. I had shrimp, sausage, and chicken with Tortellini pasta in a spicy sauce, it was total YUM! We shared the crab dip as an appetizer, delicious!!! I was glad they had Moscato, my favorite wine! Wish we had left room for dessert, the peanut butter pie sounded WONDERFUL! We will be going back in April for another show and plan to try the upside down pizza! Also need to mention that our waitress, Kelly, was terrific! She also had a table of 8 next to us and a table of 3 behind us, but never neglected my husband and I. We completely enjoyed our visit to Fenicci's!
Food was great but waited for food for over an hour and wasn’t even busy and no compensation from the wait staff horrible
We saw this restaurant review on trip adviser with a high rate. We were in the are on a weekend family getaway. You do need to have a reservation and they are very busy. The food was very fresh and tasty. somethings may run out but that's a good thing only proving that it the food is fresh. I ordered Garlic pork and it came with mashed potatoes and fried onions the pork was tender and the potatoes were very smooth. We sat near the bar and the area was loud but we expected that. our waitress was Kelly W. and she was very nice and worked very fast and well.
Worth the drive. Friendly atmosphere . Great service! Hope to return soon.
Food was excellent! We were going to a show at Hershey theater and they were very considerate of our time constraint to get to the they.
Excellent food and service. Convenient to Hershey Theater after a show
The food was average. We were rushed through our meal. Boxes were brought out while we were all still eating.
We had reservations—seated immediately. Fresh rolls were delicious. Calamari was flavorful. Had the pizza and seafood fettuccine—very creamy and lots of seafood. Peanut butter pie was amazing too! Will return soon!
After reading the owner’s (Phil) animated and hilarious responses to All reviews but particularly the negative ones, we had to see for ourselves. We were greeted by friendly faces who shared their excitement as they waited for the cast of Beautiful to arrive later in the evening.
We immediately hit it off with our waitress ,Mary, who was also raised in NYC by immigrants from Southern Italy. Before we even got to the menu we loved the place.
The Expresso Martini was prepared as it should be with Express Coffee and DARK (no BAILEYS, GODIVA, ...). We had to try the meatballs and they did not disappoint. The meat sauce (never gravy) was to die for!
Since many of the Pasta dishes had cream based sauces( too northern for this Sorrento girl) , I asked Mary if simple garlic and oil could be substituted.
No problem as all dishes are prepared to order.
I had a wonderful seafood combination served over linguini (al dente). IMy husband ordered the Lasagna that was delicious to the last bite. And yes, he was given a certificate. I should also mention that the bill was ridiculously inexpensive. We hope to return one day and maybe get to meet Phil.
Excellent dinner. Wine List is limited - a Montepulciano would be a plus. Our server was delightful.
The dinner before the show at Hershey theatre was amazing and my friend said it was the best chicken marsala she ever had.
Crowded, noisy, lackluster wine selection, moderately expensive
A favored stop both before and after the Theatre. The staff is always attentive, but not obtrusive, and especially aware of the needs of theatre-goers.
We were here for dinner before a show at Hershey Theatre. Two historic, local gems in one night. Perfecto!
This was our 4th visit and probably our last. We had made a point to visit anytime in the Hershey area and was pleased with past visits. This time was disappointing. Service was very slow. Took well over 1 hour to get dinner server. Fried calamari appetizer was served warm/cold. Bread was day old reheated dry rocks, my husbands barely warm seafood fra-diablo was sparse with seafood. I had chicken over risotto which the risotto was good but the chicken literally tasted like it came from a store bought bag of ready made Purdue chicken slices. So disappointing.
Very calm and content and professional. Love the food and great wine list.
The Chilean sea bass was the best tasting I’ve ever had 👍🏻 Please continue with the family recipes that have been in the restaurant for generations.
We had a wonderful romantic dinner, the food was great and service was quick. Our waitress was very friendly. It was a great place for quiet conversation over dinner.
Very good food and service. If there was anything that I would say that I didn’t like was that I made a reservation and got seated by the bar where someone who didn’t make a reservation got a table of 8 privately.
Fenicci's never fails to please. Great atmosphere, great new menu, and nightly seasonal specials.
Best veal saute dishes, hand breaded fresh calamari and great drink specials. Pizza and wings or gourmet dining, they have it all and it's all great! One of the best finds in Hershey!
We dined here prior to a show at the Giant Center. We let our waitress know that we had a time crunch. She assured us we would make it and she was right. We had a great meal (orders included chicken parmigiana, salmon, butchers block and seafood alfredo). Everyone enjoyed their meals and a few had leftovers. We will surely visit again .
