We aim to shine a spotlight on what is produced locally and allow the food products to speak for themselves. With a true respect for the products we purchase and food we create, we seek to serve them in a simple yet sophisticated manner with the focus on appreciating the amazing bounty of our province and country. This honouring extends not solely to those people involved, but to the greater environment and life of the planet as a whole. Fantastic food and exceptional service. Wish the tables were a little more private but they did their absence lute best to accommodate us. We will be back. Great to see a new upscale restaurant doing so well!!!

This was our second visit in about as many months; simply put, very easy to return to, quality and service are very high; hope you get Tori for service, she's got it down and no BS! F&P got our vote for a friends' bi-annual get together simply because we had such an awesome experience the first time we visited. They. Won't. Disappoint.

Knowledgeable and professional staff made for a pleasant dining experience in Cochrane. Varied and unique meal choices to appeal to many tastes, even the picky ones! Although I appreciate the natural flavours of the high quality meat and vegetables that were used, the sauces paired offered a new take on Alberta staples such as tenderloin and trout. The cauliflower and baked potato stole the show!

We had a fabulous evening. Fence and post offers a tasting menu with wine pairing. 5 course with chef choice. Presentation and selection was delightful. Staff and management are very attentive and the wine and plates were well paced. Truly a great culinary experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

Love the fearless combinations of unique foods and spices, combined to satisfy and delight the pickiest of pallets. Always pleasantly surprised at the brilliant flavors in these dishes. Specials are limited and often on short supply as they are masterfully created. So if they have a special that's up your alley, don't take too long getting in your order. Portions are ideal. Not huge plates but ideal if you choose to grab an appetizer or maybe share one with someone special. There seems to be no wrong when ordering desert, but I have to put a personal recommendation on the apple tart with homemade caramel ice cream.
