   We had a beautiful meal at Fellini. The service was excellent and every part of the meal was spot on. The desserts were extra special. We will definitely be going back

   It breaks my heart to write this review - so I sincerely hope that this restaurant learns from our experience and brings things back to what any customer would expect. The entrees were SUPERB - buffalo Moz. was best I'd ever tasted so we were looking forwards to our main dishes. The chicken maryland was raw to the point of blood seeping out. We took photos as we sincerely couldnt understand how this was ok. The sauce over overpowering for the meat flavour but the dish overwise looked just gorgeous on the plate. We took a photo of the uncooked meat as we were so shocked at having to report something so darned awful. The Cabonara dishes we also ordered were pre-peppered but we were not told so when asked if we would like pepper we said yes. Result - over peppered dish. The pasta was odd, there were bits that were undercooked with other bits perfectly cooked. There was literally crunchy pasta. The cabonara was soupy - which is also odd, and the flavour just not what endeared us (even ignoring the pepper) We ended up eating maybe 25% of the mains and just up and left - and so I would not make a scene I went to the counter to explain our issues with the mains. I was offered nothing more than 'I will let the chef know' and billed $245 for meals we literally didnt eat. I even pointed out that the raw flesh was clearly visible if he cared to attend to our table. I might point out that noone came by our table during our main to see if we were ok - perhaps if that had happened something better than us giving up a meal could have happened. That left me feeling like somehow our experience was just a whinging diner to the Matre de. I have NEVER had to do this in all my life and frankly I will never be going back.

    Excellent pasta (vegetarian lasagna and gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce and radicchio) and excellent wine. JJ provided top service and Shane, the owner, was extremely cordial. The restaurant is a bit hard to find (our gps was going haywire once we got down to the wharf), but Fellini is definitely worth seeking out.
