   Beautiful, wonderful restaurant. Amazing steaks but my favorite was the chicken liver pate with very good toasted bread. The service was very good.

   Poor service and unimpressive food are the reasons for the poor review. My first dining experience at Feller was about a month after they opened and it was great. Something has changed and if they plan to stay in business they should take this review seriously!

   Dinner menu is in 3 sections: First, Middle, Main (separate dessert menu). As I write this on a Sunday af, the dinner menu posted online is not the same as the dinner menu we were handed two nights ago on a Friday, so my comments may not be relevant to the choices you get. Our party of 2 had smoky deviled egg (1 egg cut in half, dotted with finely-chopped pickled beets) as a First, green spaetzle with roasted bone marrow (velvety, swathed in butter, extremely rich) as a Middle, and Tatanka (bison, parsley root puree, mushrooms in butter, huckleberry sauce) and Stringer Sorting (salmon, baby potatoes, maple syrup glaze) as Mains. The person eating the bison rolled her eyes in happiness, and is still talking about it 2 days later. The salmon was fine, but was a remarkably small portion of fish set on roasted small potatoes. One of us had three (!) glasses of rosé-colored, Slovenian pinot grigio, a very happy surprise; the other had a Manhattan cocktail, which was perfectly fine if unremarkable, served (as seems to be trendy everywhere these days) with a block of hand-chopped ice that filled much of the glass. The bartender was gregarious and informative (how I know the ice was hand-chopped). Portion sizes varied widely. I got one small deviled egg, but I saw bacon-wrapped dates with 4 on a plate and mushroom toasts with 4 thick slices of bread buried in mounds of topping. Everything we ate or saw others eating was rich, seemingly the chef's 'there's nothing that can't be improved with butter or fat' approach. It was fun to indulge, but we'll eat lower on the food chain for a couple of days to recover. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. There were plenty of servers available, all seemed happy to be working there. The service merited at least a 20% gratuity, in our opinion. One third of our bill was alcohol; next time - when we are not celebrating a birthday - we'll drink less.

   Thrilled to have something new to try in Stillwater. The cocktails were delicious, and we enjoyed everything we ordered to eat. Our server Scott was really fun. We'll be back!

   The Feller is a lovely restaurant. We were a group of 12 and the restaurant was not busy, but we waited quite a while before offered coffee or beverages - probably 15 minutes. They also asked me if there was a special occasion, which I had indicated in my online reservation that it was a family birthday. They asked me the same question at the table, but they didn't offer anything. I was wondering why this question is asked if they don't acknowledge it? The ham on the eggs benedict was one very thin slice and the biscuits were very small. The food was very good, but portions not appropriate for the price. Our wait staff was very pleasant, but the service was slower than we have experienced at other restaurants. I am not sure we will go back.

   Autumn was awesome! Love this place. The girls had the salmon and say it was the best they've ever had. The guys went with the Game. One of had the Venison Pasta special and the other had the Feller burger, both were worth writing home about and returning for. Great ambiance, great location, great everything! We'll be back.

   We went to Feller’s for my birthday. Food was enjoyed by the entire family. We had the fritters and deviled eggs as starters. Lots of flavor. Our daughter had the burger which was right up there with the top burgers we’ve had. My husband loved his pot pie and my wild boar dish was served on top a delicious sauce. We’ll be back soon- with friends!

    We will return. The food was delicious; I highly recommend the bison stroganoff, the salmon, and the Harvest salad. Desserts were great too, and the coffee!
