You can tell from how each employee greets/interacts with you that the training and standards must be top notch.
The waitstaff is extremely knowledgeable and help any guest not familiar with all the Italian they have on the menu.
The food is just amazing. Try every pasta. I cannot speak to the pizzas but we will try them next time.

Our time at Felix’s was magical! The sfincione and squash blossoms were absolutely incredible. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe which was amazing as well and we finished the dinner off with Tiramisu. The service was prompt throughout the whole experience yet very thoughtful.

Wasn’t nearly as special as I had hoped. Appetizers were fantastic. Pastas were overall good, not great, and very salty. Martinis were superb!

As we're in LA intermittently we've been trying to get a reservation at Felix for quite some time. We always seemed to be on the outside and then they started with alerts. We secured a reservation and the restaurant was all we hoped it would be. Incredible food, incredibly gracious and attentive service. Wonderful atmosphere....hopefully we'll be able to get a reservation next time we're in town.
I joined a couple who have lived in Italy for dinner at Felix. I have been making pasta for 20 years and have been following Evan Funke for the past year, have his cookbook, and have watched everything I can find online that features him and his techniques. I knew his pasta was going to be wonderful, and they exceeded all my expectations. I was not expecting the wonderful service that we received. Our server, Nick, even knew what type of flour that was used in each pasta and if eggs were used in the doughs. The servers were mingling throughout the dining room and were available for questions, refills, and needs the entire time. We are still observing the consequences of a pandemic and Felix had dealt with it extremely well. I could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely return!

Our family dinner was outstanding! Felix is truly our favorite dining experience on the Westside. The food is phenomenal, the staff is warm and knowledgeable, I could go on and on! I just wish it was easier to get a reservation ☺️

Felix is absolutely an amazing experience, our server was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wine and the dishes.
We had the market salad, gamberi prawns, the new fig and prosciutto pizza, the mezze maniche, oricchiette, and the parapadelle. The chef surprised us with the trofie pesto pasta on them as well.
Finally, the budino and tiramisu were delicious, budino with the slight edge.
The prawns, pizza, mezze and oricchiette were absolutely amazing, not that anything was less than, but those were my standouts.
Go, get a res ASAP, I can’t recommend enough.
Fantastic, amazing, wonderful meal. Very straight-forward menu but each item is excellent. We had the squash blossoms, the prawns, the burrata foccacia, a pizza, and two pastas - incredible. Great atmosphere outdoors, beautiful indoors. Truly an L.A. gem.
Our server was lovely, but unfortunately that was the only highlight. Food wise, it was mediocre at best. The appetizers were good and the pizza was okay but the pastas were way, way too salty (literally inedible) and very one note. Does not warrant the near impossible to make reservations or the high prices. Not even by a long shot. If you want good italian, go to Angelini Osteria or even Scopa down the street.
My first time dining at Felix Trattoria and wow! We were seated in their private backyard patio, which was lovely, quiet, and sheltered from any wind. The staff was kind and attentive, patiently explaining the dishes and answering our questions. On our reservations, I had indicated that we were there for a special occasion (graduation), which was sweetly acknowledged by the receptionist as well as our waitstaff. We started off with Sfincione (forcaccia)-excellent and a nice size to share for 4 people. The fiore di zucca (fried squash blossoms stuffed with pillowy ricotta) was delicate and delicious. The panzanella lived up to it's reputation-order it! Other dishes included margherita pizza, pappardelle with ragu bolognese, spaghettoni alla norma, and the orecchiette with sausage sugo-all were great! Glass of wine and cocktail were both very good (and the recommendation for both was spot on). Tiramisu for dessert topped off a great meal! The candle in the dessert was a very sweet touch, too. We'd definitely return!

Felix is an outstanding restaurant, one of the best in Los Angeles. Its pasta is unique and the choice of dishes substantial. Service is first class along with the food. The restaurant is my favorite.
This place is perfect. Do a cocktail with the sfincione, switch to wine for the pastas, sample some amari for dessert. Whatever you do, enjoy being in this special space with these wonderfully talented chefs and FOH staff.
Best spot in Venice. Hands down.

The best pasta!!! Service was great. I was lucky to sit by the pasta room and watch the ball of dough turned into a thin fabric. The sea urchin spaghetti special was amazing! The orecchiette is a must every time I am here.
We were seated for our 9 pm reservation 25 minutes late. After ordering - we were told 15 mins later the kitchen was closing so we needed to hurry up and add anything more to our order. After the pizza came out we were asked three times while enjoying our time with wine and the other dishes if they could bring us a box to pack up the pizza to go. The food was amazing however the night was hurried and rushed - not relaxing at all which is unfortunate. We visited from San Francisco and were so excited for this reservation at your restaurant. I think you need to work on not seating customers late especially if it’s your last seating so customers do not feel agitated. :(.
Awesome in every way! We sat outside and it was great. Our server recommended fantastic wine in our price range as well as super season dishes. Props to chef and the crew! We will back as soon as we can make reservations again;)
We were seated 35 mins after our reservation time. The waiting area had no water or beverage service so we had to wait without anything to drink or snack on. The hostess was a bit rude about the entire experience - especially when I asked if we could get some water while we wait. Once we sat down we did have great service and they brought us two free apps. But I still was surprised by the service and poor timing.
