Smelled like smoke (both kinds) all evening
Food was decent and service was very friendly
Service is the worse
We were not welcomed in a friendly manner. My mussels were mainly empty shells and I thought perhaps the mussels were at the bottom of the broth but weren’t. Took awhile before the shell dish was taken but was not returned. Too pricey for what I had. Frites were good. Dishes taken off table too quickly.
weird vibe. music was pulsating on a sunday morning, but many families were there. it was okay
It was fun and not as pricey as many NY restaurants. You need a reservation for brunch or you might not get in. Super crowded. The only negative was the music was so loud hard to have a conversation.
it was ok- only word to describe it is ok. not the best place but also not the worst
The food was good, however the service not so good I been in New York 14yrs I have never been rushed out of place their host Maria was rude, waiter were rushing us to finish, we still have just ordered drinks and they brought us the check waiter told me that his host was pressure him, it totally ruined my day off, I was not happy
Food is good, cant argue with that. Great atmosphere but this is an efficient place. Went for brunch with a group of friends and were outside again in an hour or so. Its expensive but I guess its normal for Soho to charge $80 for a plastic pitcher of mediocre mimosa. Plastic glassware too.
Upgrade the acoustics... It sounds like an indoor-pool
Great good and service. Music a little too loud is the only complaint
Great loud fun place for a group or a meal when you want to have to lean across the table to hear what your partner is saying.
Service was poor
Great food but too cold with the doors still open at this time of year and not the greatest service.
who leaves all the windows and doors open on a rainy 53-degree day? Manager was adamant that doors stay open in spite of protestations from customers. Took us 40 minutes to be served. None of the wait staff smiled. Maitre-D appeared to be bored.
Fabulous French restaurant - almost like we were in France!
Great experience. The duck is delicious
Staff was awesome, food delicious and felt like I was eating in Paris. It was loud because it was Friday night, it’s supposed to be happening. Loved it, Merci!
Top place! Good food, lots of fun! Really enjoyed it
El mesero muy grosero. El Sunday brunch party empieza bastante tarde , como a las 7 empieza el regueton. Buen ambiente
Fantastic food and service!
Hostess and serving staff were friendly and accommodating!
The only good thing about this place, is the food. I was in New York for 5 days with my friends, I made a reservation for 4 at 11:30 am for brunch. First thing, the server is not friendly at all, second, he forgot our drinks, we even got the food and the drinks were’t there. It was only orange juice. Then finally when we were about to paid, he says that we can only pay Cash or American Express!! Like wtf? What type of restaurant dont accept all types of cards???? What a coincide that they have their own ATM! So not only that, the 20% for the Service was included in the bill, so I paid about 20$ dollars for the worst service ever. What is the common sense??? If you dont acept the common paid Services, you might as well thell the costumer from the beggining! Never coming back to this place.
Nobody attended us in 20min and place was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other. We just left the place as nobody was even bothered bringing us water while waiting for taking our order. Food stars are just based on what we guessed of the place. Definitely was an unfortunate bad experience.
It's been a while since I went to Felix. The food was good but the service was extremely poor. The attendance from the staff was close to none. I waited for close to an hour for the bottle of red wine and when it finally arrived they brought wet glasses (since they were out). It was actually funny - but this is no way of running a business.
The host was super rude. I haven't been to Felix in awhile and had enjoyed it a good deal in the past - but the music was SUPER loud, it was extremely chaotic, and totally unpleasant. I couldn't even hear conversation sitting super close to my lunch companion. Clearly they've changed management or something, but it was awful.
We went to have a lovely, convivial meal with exceptional food. Felix delivered. We look forward to returning.
Nice brunch spot that reminds you of a true French cafe. Food was very good, but $22 for a burger and fries always rubs me the wrong way, even in NYC. I'd recommend this place for anyone wanting a nice brunch in SoHo though
Perfection! Still- stands the test of time
Thank you so much for making us feel welcome, dining with a toddler is a bit of a challenge but the hostess, waiter and servers were a delight. We enjoyed brunch and didn't feel like we were being rushed, the food was great and overall it was just a perfect meal, the sun beaming in through all the open doors, felt like we were somewhere far from NYC!
Lovely meal and service. Slice of Paris in the village despite the crush of nyc.
It was highly recommended and it was a good brunch, but the services was meh, they didn’t refill the water and they took a lot to clean the table, the ambiance really cozy and everyone around were drinking mimosas and stuff I guess that on sundays they go bit crazy later.
Service, what service?! Lack of attention or some sort of customer service. People would sit down and had to wave someone down all the time if they wanted to at least be greeted.
I asked for a cold beer and the beer was extremely warm.
The food was mediocre as best. Definitely not worth the price nor the experience.
Definitely this is not a place I would ever visit again.
Saturday’s at Felix always.
A corner of Paris in downtown Manhattan. There are reasons why they are still in business two decades later. They deliver classic French bistro cooking with all the right touches !!!
One thing I was very surprised about was that they only take Amex or cash. No visa or mastercard. They do not make this clear before hand. And for people who are travelling from abroad this can be a big issue.
I think you need to be more clear about only accepting payment via AMEX or cash when confirming a reservation. The festive evening resulted in an embarrassing moment as a result of not being alerted about your credit card limitations in advance.
The Felix is a nice Bistro but food and service are below average. And on top they take only one credit card or cash - „...there is cash machine on the way to the restrooms...“ OK, looks like Felix does not need my money... I will not come back to the bistro.
love this place. thank you for a perfect birthday dinner!
Love the food of course, thank you Chef Pierre💕
Service is always friendly and attentive
It’s our canteen!
