Felina Steak South Orange is the latest chapter in the Felina story, carrying forward the award-winning legacy of Felina Ridgewood, Felina Summit, and Felina Steak Jersey City. Rooted in our signature blend of red sauce luxury and New Jersey attitude, Felina Steak brings bold flavors, impeccable hospitality, craft cocktails, and familiar Italian American cuisine to a vibrant new setting.

We’re proud to be part of the South Orange community and are open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday from 5PM to 10PM, and for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 12PM to 3PM.

Food, drinks, ambiance, service was great. A bit pricey but we knew that going in and everything is pricey these days. Overall an excellent dining experience

We went for my husband’s birthday. We were blown away by the way the staffs took care of us. The food was amazing. From the entrance to our table we were warmly greeted by the host; to the table, our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Everything was so delicious, except one of the steaks we ordered didn’t have much flavor but the chef took care of it by sending us another garlic butter sauce to make up for us. I can’t wait to go back to try other dishes.

We both had a delicious Chicken Milanese with very attentive service, beautiful dining room. Not sure why they have bread plates and do not serve bread. Also, we only had salad forks at the table, not dinner forks, they were not enjoyable to eat with. I noticed all tables only had them.

Second time at Felina and was not disappointed. Another great meal and cocktail. Service is great, from the host desk to the wait staff. Beautiful place! Will recommend and certainly be back soon!

Decent, with potential to be great. The service and ambiance are great, but the food was just OK. The calamari was tasty but not consistently seasoned so much of it was over salted. The worst part for me was the tenderloin which I’m willing to bet was actually a sirloin cut. 2 others at our table ordered the same and were disappointed by how tough and chewy it was. The inside temp was done right but the seer on my steak was mostly a burn with a charcoal taste. Additionally, at the end of the night when we went to pick up our take out box (leftover dinner food) they gave us the wrong meals. Sadly we didn’t realize until we got home, but I’m sure there are some surprised folks when they got home with the wrong meals. Based on the prices I would of given this place 2 stars, but I want to see it succeed. Hopefully they take this feedback and improve. Overall it left a lot to be desired and I would not recommend or go back unless I hear it has improved. I ate here June 2025.

Arrived close to closing after a concert. Service was friendly and never rushed. Ordered the lasagna for 2, which was generous and spot on. Even with sharing, I took half of my portion home. It was truly a bargain. Complimentary appetizers were also delicious: focacia with pickled eggplant and olives. Had I known, I would have skipped the tuna crudo. A selection of mocktails was a plus. All around, I would visit again. This was exceptionally better than the Jersey City restaurant of the same name.
