Felidia just has excellent food, which justifies the price (which is not inexpensive). It's the best branzino we have had, and the pastas are first rate.
Beautiful restaurant and really outstanding service.
Felidia is pricey ($90 per person with tip, party of 7) but it's well worth it. The pastas are handmade excellence. Everyone, even the picky eaters, found something they enjoyed.
We dine here often for lunch. The food is excellent especially the pasta dishes. The fixed price lunch menu is super value. It’s a hidden gem of a restaurant with an elegant and unique point of view.
Great food and ambiance. There were also many gluten free options including great breads
Quintessential NY Italian. Lovely, gracious, delicious.
I have loved Felidia for years - eating there over 30 times and buying Lidia’s cookbooks. I remember meeting her at the bar one night.
Tonight’s dinner was very disappointing. I hope this was just one of those bad nights in the kitchen.
The ambience, service and meal was absolutely Superb!! I can’t wait to go back!!
Once again went there Tuesday night with client visiting from Switzerland.
Service and the food were spot on as well. This is really a wonderful place
for all occasions. The staff is extremely attentive as well. I lost count as to
how many times I have eaten there either with clients or my wife and the family
One of our favorite NYC restaurants;the fresh pasta is always a wonderful flavor and texture, red meats are good though common, the fish is terrific. they are a bit stingy with the truffle shavings lately but they do great tricks with their sauces.
The pastas we had were really outstanding, the food overall, except for the dessert was excellent. It is pricy, but if you care about food and a refined quiet place, this is hard to beat.
We dined with the Italian Dinner...The chocolate pasta was spectacular! Service by Ismael was impeccable...ate way too much food...
loved the food
love Lydia and all Lydia
great way to spend an evening
The food was fabulous and the service we received was outstanding. The layout of little dining rooms make it a very intimate and special experience. My wife and I give it our highest rating.
Wonderful food and great service. I would highly recommend.
Upon arriving at and leaving the restaurant, the host wished my wife a happy birthday. The wait staff also extended their birthday wishes. We ordered from the Traditional Italian Dinner which came with multiple courses. Each course surpassed our expectations. The food was delicious, plentiful, and creative. We were very pleased with each dish that we ordered. Considering the amount of food and the number of courses, the dinner was a good value. The noise level did reduce sharply when the boisterous table next to us left. We will definitely return and not wait for a special occasion to dine here once again. Thank you to the restaurant for making my wife's birthday dinner special.
Food as always was delicious. Starting salads -artichoke and the fennel three ways were great. Pasta w Board ragu was perfect as was the trapanese. Bronzino was fresh and perfectly cooked. Wines perfect as well.
Never disappoints. Absolutely one of the best, I've never eaten anything here that wasn't perfection!
Truffles generously sprinkled on eggy pasta , delicious roasted kale, grilled octopus and other seafood delights- - there is nothing better than a good dinner at Felidia! A real taste treat! Thank you Lydia!
Cousins came from Canada. We wanted a fine dining experience where we could really talk and hear each other. It worked out perfectly and everyone was thrilled
Everytime we visit Manhattan, Felidia is our destination for dinning. Never disappointed. Food and service is outstanding
The main courses were NOT impressive. The veal tenderloin was very tough, although the sauce was good. The wine Steward helped with a selection of a Barbaresco that was out of this world, fantastic, ...he made the evening for us.
Upmarket Italian cuisine served professionally. Wine by the glass expensive and overrated. Cozy atmosphere.
We had a wonderful seafood risotto with lots of flavor and rice that was al dente. Whole wheat bigoli with a duck ragu was also delicious. The veal tonnato appetizer didn’t really work for us as it was a vinegar and tuna sauce instead of the creamy version we expected; however the veal was perfectly sliced and cooked. We look forward to trying more dishes on our next visit.
Always an exquisite authentic Italian meal served like you’re the special guest. We dine here before or after enjoying the opera.
Always a lovely experience with consistently delicious food. Main dining room is a little loud.
Outstanding in all respects!
Always brilliant food. Wonderful service and careful ambience. Love it!
The food is always outstanding. We are fortunate to have this gem in our neighborhood
Fantastic menu fixed three course Winter Dinner. Excellent value, terrific experience. Restaurant is worth a visit at any time.
The place is clean and nicely decorated. For the price the plate portions we’re minuscule! I think this restaurant caters more towards the tourists who want to get a glance of Lydia. Food was tasty just not enough for the $185 party of 3 with no alcoholic beverages.
Wonderful service and great food! Celebrated a major milestone in my daughter’s career and she was incredibly happy with my selection.
Felidia is always a treat with guaranteed great tasting and beautifully presented food in a comfortable setting. You can't go wrong but the guaranteed perfect meal comes with a dent in your wallet.
We have been to Felidia many times. We love the fresh authentic food, creative dishes and tasting options. Highly recommended for foodies like us!
Pasta was delicious. Sommelier recommended a great wine in our price range. However, the waiter tried to up-sell and never came back to the table to check on our food. Was expecting a better experience.
In one word, OUTSTANDING! What an exceptional meal we enjoyed. The most memorable one for us in years. First of all, each and every staff member we encountered was superb and so professional in all respects. Of particular note, the sommelier was excellent. One of the best we have ever encountered. We had three unique and distinctive Italian wines, including a red from Etna that rivaled any great Burgundy. He was very knowledgeable and patient. And the food was out of this world. Wild porcini salad, octopus, penne with black truffles, black sea bass, osso buco, etc. And the cheese at the end was an unexpected delight (from update NY). This is a classic gem of a restaurant that knows how to do things right. If we still lived in NY, we'd go there each week. Can't recommend it highly enough. Congratulations, Felidia!
The food was very good. Our particular waiter was fair at best. At their prices, the waiter should be 100% attentive. He made 2 mistakes in our orders.
Always a pleasure dining at Felidia. The staff is amazing and service is beyond expectations. Food is always a great experience and output in timing with dishes are very impressive. My go to place for meetings!
