Everything was truly excellent. Including our server; she was very attentive and personable.
Great food, service and manager.
Delicious, expertly prepared and served. Great dining experience
Excellence in everything , From the moment youRe greeted at the door until you leave the restaurant. The food was fabulous. A great place to celebrate my daughter’s birthday in New York. I read Lydia’s biography and was so excited to actually dine in one of her restaurants
We have just moved into the neighborhood and this will be our go to restaurant!!! Our lunch was unbelievably delicious and at $34 for 2 courses, a good value for superlative food and service. I took a friend back for lunch at the bar and she agreed...Felidia is amazing!!!
Excellent service and food. Great place
We had an outstanding meal. Four people, all ordering different, and we each enjoyed our choices immensely. I can't stop thinking about my ravioli cacio e pere!! Fabulous wine list that can be pricey but they had an excellent selection at reasonable prices as well. We had not been in years because we had been disappointed but now we can't wait to go back.
Had the Chef’s Tasting menu for lunch. All dishes were beautifully presented and delicious! Great wine selection. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Recommend this lovely restaurant when in NYC.
Always my “go to “ place, best restaurant I have ever been to. Superb food
Tutto crude was to die for as always! The pasta as well! Fish cooked to perfection. We had a lovely time as always at Felidia
Sunday Supper is an amazing concept, executed with near perfection by the Felidia team. My husband and I were seated in a quiet nook downstairs. The Sunday Supper is like a buffet--with multiple choices for each of 4 courses: Appetizers, Pastas, Mains, Desserts. But the dizzying and delicious choices for each course were presented on a tray/bowl/platter, with 4-5 choices within each category for us to share. The pace was excellent. Each taste was more sublime than the next. Our water glasses were never empty, the bread was scrumptious and plentiful, and the autumn decor of an orange glass pumpkin on each table added a festive touch.
The regular Felidia menus were also available, but with the Sunday Supper, we got the chance to taste many different notable dishes at a fair, all-inclusive price (plus tax beverages separate). Will surely return on another Sunday down the road.
Felidia used to be one of my favorite restaurants but it is sadly past its prime. I had taken my daughter there for her 16th birthday party and was recently there to celebrate my son being admitted to the NY Bar. The food was iffy at best. My branzino was cold; tasty but absolutely cold. The pasta side dish was undercooked-not al denote but in need of another few minutes cooking to get to al dente status. Overall, the restaurant needs some new life injected into it.
Have not been here in just under 32 years, the night before I proposed to my wife. Still together and although redecorated (prob more than once) Felicia is still excellent in all respects, food, presentation, service and attention to detail. Extraordinary even in Manhattan. Will not wait sonoo long next time.
An intimate Italian eatery with interesting food offerings and excellent old school service. Known for pasta, the special of the evening was a bit ordinary and the Salmon special was not so special. The Tuna on the other hand was. Deserts a bit hyped, more creative in their description than in the flesh. Overall, a good experience, but not great.
We had a lovely dinner at Felidia. We’ve enjoyed many meals at Felidia over the years so last night was no exception. We chose the 6 course tasting menu and were delighted by each course. The service was very good as were the wine selections. We are so happy with the consistent quality of preparation and service. Felidia remains our favorite restaurant in NYC! We will be back.
Felidia is a fine dining experience where a great menu is paired with excellent service. Definitely worth a visit.
The menu needs more entries with pasta sides. One does not come to an Italian restaurant fo North American designer beef and pork entries that have virtually no Italian bent to them. More pasta dishes with meat would be appreciated. The duck pasta was good. We got a good Barbara as well.
Another amazing meal at Felidia! Chef Nicotra is a genius and his food never disappoints!
Never disappointed at Felidia. Been dining here since 2003. Love it and will return.
Had a late lunch prior to going to the theater. Pear ravioli appetizer was the best bite. Had table of NYC Housewives next to us that were a little aggravating, otherwise, the food, service and restaurant overall was very good. Would definitely recommend.
This is a great restaurant! The food is so fresh. They always have interesting specials and they offer many gluten free options. The wine selection is second to none. The chef, Fortunato, is one of the best in the city!
Marvelous meal and the team really made my daughter’s birthday memorable! Thanks, Lidia and team!
This is classic NYC. The food was wonderful. The wine list is VERY good. If you are looking for NEw school Italian this is not the place. This is classic Italian food raised to a level of elegance.
Fabulous meal! Pricey as are all restaurants of that quality in the neighborhood. Absolutely the best piece of beef to ever touch my lips!
Amazing food and service. The place was intimate and beautifully laid out. Would definitely recommend and go back again.
Always the very best branzino. Feel bad that I like it so much that I don’t try other entrees
Wonderful in every way! It is on out list of favorite restaurants and will return when we make it back to NYC.
Great place to meet friends and enjoy the fantastic culinary styles of Lydia and Nico. I've never had a bad meal, or experience a staff member that did not truly enjoy their work there. I live in Central Florida now since 2017, and still maintain a place in Cape May County NJ, but I never turn down an opportunity to stop by Felida. I have so many of my friends hooked on it, it is our favorite place for lunch get together's
One of my favorite places. Lunch menu on weekdays is a great bargain! I've tried almost everything and I just can't choose. OK- try the Cacio e Pere, wonderful!
I took a first date to this restaurant and was very pleased. The food and service were amazing and the atmosphere was perfect.
Walked in on time for our reservation and it actually took sometime to get a drink at the bar even though the bartender saw me. That was weird! Went upstairs, waited for bread and actually had to ask. That was weird too! Our table of 4 ordered food and honestly it was amazing - our whole table had nothing but delicious food in front of them at all times. Our server offered us a drink on the house to make up for the delinquencies in service. It can get noisy upstairs if there is a large party. Otherwise, we would certainly return. The ambiance was lovely and food, superb! Enjoy!
Felidia is the perfect combination of a neighborhood restaurant and a world class dining venue. Sure the decor could use refreshing, but the staff is absolutely first class and the food is some of the best in New York. We go often and will continue to do so.
The salmon was perfectly cooked.....but the mashed potatoes with corn and spinach mixed in was cold. Who serves cold mashed potatoes? There was a little smear of a mustard sauce on the side of the potatoes @nd far from the salmon....and only enough to be put on two bites of salmon. In all, a very disappointing dish.
Everything fantastic. My friends complained the waiters rushed to take plates away. Maybe a little
Was disappointed that with a reservation my husband and I were shoved in a corner and several times the wait staff has to bother us to get at bottles of wine for other customers. There were several couples at larger tables so for that reason I am not sure I would return. Food was good
I indicated in my Opentable reservation that it was our anniversary, but they didn’t acknowledge that in any way. So I’m not sure what was the point if the option to indicate it.
The food is excellent! The servers are charming and the townhouse setting feels intimate. Fortunato, the chef, is a genius.
The food at Felidia was good. It seems as though the prices were raised since the last time we went. Overall expensive. The wait staff was unfriendly and pushy and it the noise level was very loud. This had been a place to celebrate special occasions - no longer. With the increase in cost and the decrease in ambiance you lost us as customers
The best pasta ever.
