Very disappointed by the food and the service. This used to be a wonderful restaurant, perfect for special occasions. We will not be back.
Outstanding meal in every way.
Worst service ever. It was nonexistant. Food quality was poor. Octopus was thought. Ravioli were tough. Filet totally unseasoned overpowered by the asparagus. Bread was a single serving of black bread with a pea dip to use really? Totally not lidia.
This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful surroundings, and incredible food! We sat upstairs and ordered the Traditional Italian Dinner for 2. We got to try 6 dishes and 2 desserts. It was AMAZING! The only thing missing was Lidia herself:)
Took a friend here for her birthday lunch. Food was amazing! Excellent service.
I gave a 5 star review recently so decided to come tonight for a birthday. Bad service. Waited 20 min for anything. So angry that I thought a first experience would be the same.
This is what a top restaurant in NYC should be and understand why it is. Excellent!
Simply amazing food. Loved it as always. Great for a romantic dinner or date night.
Amazing experience, we went for our engagement anniversary and everything was soooo perfect. Thank you for such a great experience.
As good as I remember - there are a lot of great restaurants in Ny and a handful of fabulous ones Felidias is fabulous - the food, service and ambiance are superb.
It was my Mom's 93rd birthday celebration and we all had a blast! Thanks again for a great experience.
The food is mostly wonderful, but the noise level is deafening. It was impossible to have a conversation. The upstairs loft area brings the noise downstairs and there's no way to talk.
Great. And Lydia came to our table!
muy buena atencion al cliente, una excelente comida y bebida, el mejor servicio
We love the food and the ambiance! The black truffle pasta was fabulous! While the noise level was quiet when we arrived (5:45 pm reservations), it was quite noisy and difficult to have a conversation by the time we left. Despite that, the wait staff was extremely attentive to all of our needs. We love this restaurant!
Superb food, very good service.
A delightful evening.
3rd time is Not a charm-
I always give a place 2 tries to make it consistent, and I'm Loyal with the restaurants I like,
so I decided to go a third time, within the last 2 months time, and this time, I was "Turned Off"
There is One Captain that gives you Excellent service and accommodation
however the other Captain, which we had upstairs this particular night was horrible
He messed up on our Appetizer dish, giving the table the wrong ingredients, and said, these are now the seasonal ingredients, so basically " your out of luck"
why would he Not tell us while we were ordering the food?
And he never admitted his mistake, and was arrogant.
It will be tough for me to go back...........
One of my favorite restaurants in New York. Everything always perfect.
My husband and I were delighted with the superb quality of our food and the attentiveness, without being intrusive, of the entire wait staff. The Italian Dinner Tasting Menu allowed choices from the regular menu and was a great value.
Lunch was classically delicious. We both had the Cacio e Pepe which was truly outstanding. The liver was disappointing as it could have been cooked a few minutes longer. The Rigitoni with blue potatoes, string beans & pignoli noirs was perfectly prepared...Yummm.
There was a chicken liver pate that was too livery and I had to send it back.
Waiter is very rude. Only pre fix menu for lunch - they need understand not everyone can eat the same amount of food?
Should be and could be much better.
Service was lovely, only weakness is how fast it was, we were done in little over an hour.
I never had a bad meal EVER at Felida and will keep returning!
The food was great, service was rushed. They wouldn’t take our food orders as we wanted to give them (the waiter wanted all at once).
Wine list is good. Amarone was delicious. Tripe interesting, pasta with truffles very good and duck ragu very good.
This is my second time at this restaurant, and I simply love it. The food is delicious, the wine is well-chosen, and I love the atmosphere. Lidia Bastianich was even there this time! What a lovely way to spend the evening.
The menu is wonderful with many interesting choices. I've been to Felidia's many times, and it never disappoints.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place to dine in this area.
Thank you, Lydia!
Always first rate.
This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We had mixed drinks including a seasonal Negroni that was amazing. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and helped us navigate the menu and offered the suggestion of the tasting menu that would allow us a wide variety of dishes. The portions were perfect, everything was served hot and the timing of each dish was perfect. We of course particularly loved dessert generous portions of 3 different items and a bag of cookies to go. Our new favorite NYC restaurant.
This restaurant has the advantage of being open Sundays..it is so fun to see families out enjoying delicious food. There are many choices for gluten-free guests. The scallops and cauliflower were divine.
Wonderful food. A bit overpriced. Sommelier not totally convincing.
The food is very good. BUT, everything else is probably one of the worst restaurant experiences we ever had...
We love restaurants, and we've been to almost all the fine dinning restaurants in NYC. We sometimes use restaurant week to try out a restaurant.
1. They don't give you the restaurant week menu until you ask for it. Why are they hiding?
2. The wine-by-the-glass list is very expensive, and, the pour is probably the worst that I've ever had.
3. We finished the 3-course meal basically in an hour, the speed could probably catch McDonald's.
4. The staff is not professional with the "standard" the restaurant claims it is. The head server basically disappeared from us after taking the order.
5. The restaurant does NOT give out a friendly vibe.
We've been wanting to try this restaurant, we did, and we are almost certain that we will not come back.
That was a great dinner! My dad and I enjoyed it so much!! The service was excellent, so was the truffle! I love the Sorbet! The passion fruit flavor is amazing with its smoothie-like taste!
Food was exquisite! Service was amazing. 10/10 would recommend again.
The tasting menu offered a variety of interesting Italian dishes, each with its own unique flavor and appeal. The nettle and burrata ravioli was particularly noteworthy.
Service was top notch. Everyone who serviced our table was very attentive and polite.
Always a pleasure to return. Thank you from your friends in Pittsburgh!
Food was great and service over attentive if anything. But we booked for Italian Restaurant Week and were not offered the menu. We had 2 waiters— one was lovely but when I requested restaurant week menu from the other senior waiter he was visibly displeased. He brightened when we asked about the tasting menu but described it so vaguely we stuck with the regular RW menu. Definitely needed the table so we were not encouraged to finish coffee etc
A great value and I will go back, but if they are going to play the RW game they need to be more cordial about it
It is always a pleasure coming to Felidia. The food is great and the staff is always very good and courteous.
Red snapper to be remembered. Grilled octopus fantastic and service that lasted for three hours.
Always amazing service and food. Was on a lunch date with my husband and we were able to enjoy our extravagant meal and still make it back to the office within an hour.
