Always a pleasure. And -a big plus - always great recommendations from the somm! (Erica)
Everything was outstanding! Be sure to tell them, if stairs are a problem, so you can be seated downstairs. Our drinks were mixed to perfection and served in lovely crystal glasses. We were a party of six and shared two appetizers- tuna tartare and pear and pecorino ravioli. We all ordered different main courses and tasted around. As foodies, we had only accolades for each dish. We shared desserts. They validate parking at the icon lot at 2nd Ave, but not at the one between 2nd and 3rd. The subway is a short walk away. I highly recommend Felifia. While a bit pricey, it is well worth it.
Been here numerous times - was disappointed this time in menu and serviced
Poor wine service after spending $300 on a bottle of wine and list is limited and with high, 5 time mark up, wine prices. Food is inconsistent but overall very good.
Always fantastic in every way! They made our anniversary super special! Thank you!
The pate was the best I've ever had.
The service is always outstanding here.
Love going to this restaurant, seems more like a neighborhood restaurant, always great meal!
I was super excited to eat at Felidia’s and it did not disappoint. My friend and I were considering the vegetarian tasting menu but there were so many specific dishes we wanted to try that our outstanding waiter suggested the Traditional Italian Dinner where you get to choose one appetizer per person, two pastas to share and two main courses.
Because there is only one vegetarian entree we chose that and a third pasta. Don’t judge.
Two different kinds of ravioli were so delicate that I don’t know how they managed to cook them. Every dish was creative, special and phenomenal.
When dessert came it was a tasting of three - the butternut squash tiramisu was amazing- plus an array of homemade Italian cookies. Best meal I ever had and I can’t wait to go back.
The food was, as expected, spectacular. The service was not. Main waiter had an attitude and we even caught him in a lie after he says something contradictory to the secondary waiter. We also felt rushed during the tasting menu.
The staff could NOT have been more professional, welcoming, knowledgeable and warm. Every need was addresses by staff. We must have met at least 10 of them over the course of our meal and each was lovely. The Italian tasting menu was incredibly delicious but too large! Felidia, you can decrease your portion size for the tasting menu.
Enjoyed! The $95 tasting menu is an unbelievable value!!!
Overall, a wonderful experience. The food and service are very good, menu is creative and easily accommodates a gluten free diet.
Hadn’t been to Felidia in years. Still a lovely restaurant and I think Lidia’s best in many ways. Maybe a bit old fashioned but in a good way. Attentive yet low key service. They were very considerate of our pre-theater time frame. We shared a veal with tuna sauce starter. Very light and delicious. I had beautifully grilled tuna. My friends each enjoyed their dishes...calves liver for one and a black
and white pasta with mixed seafood for the other. It would be worth a more leisurely return visit for sure.
Wedding anniversary and we could’ve asked for a better place. The food was exceptional, service outstanding and selections plentiful. A most enjoyable meal. I highly recommend. We will return.
AMAZING!!!! Felidia’a was the highlight of our trip! Wonderful!
Upon returning to Manhattan we always revisit Felidia. Tom, Peppino and staff are welcoming and make us feel we're back home. The menu is exceptional. This trip we enjoyed an appetizer of grilled Polipo (grilled octupus), Zucca e Choco (Chocolate Ravioli stuffed with Burrata cheese) as well as Branzino. All cooked to perfection. For authentic Italian food we recommend Felidia.
Sorry to say but this time at Felidia was a bad experience... the tasting menu was a disappointment soggy bread at the bottom of the plate of mussels and pasta was so ala dented it had no flavor
Been before but much better than this time ... don’t think I’m going back
Great ambience, fantastic food. You are well looked after by staff that are well experienced. Gluten free paradise- they had wonderful gluten free bread and a choice of pastas- I had the GF pappardelle with duck which was tremendous. One server manned the prosciutto station, just carving precisely off a large leg all evening- of course we started with that- fantastic. Servers are everywhere- seems to be as many staff as diners (and the rooms were full!), but they are attentive and non-intrusive both- we enjoyed our conversation but our water and wine glasses were never dry, and you are not rushed, despite the very New York ambience. HIGHLY recommended!
I have been numerous times.. wanted to share one of my favs with my friend from out of town..She raved about every dish we had..From server to sommelier, The evening was flawless. Thank you to all!
Special shout out to “ Pepino”
Till the next....
We had the traditional Italian set menu and it was absolutely delicious. Of course it was too much food as the portion was so big. So we took a little from each course back in doggy bag so as to leave enough appetite for the next course. Service was great even the bus people.
Loved it. Every year when we visit NY, it is a must on our list.
Food was delicious.
Wonderful dining experience, excellent food and friendly staff.
Wonderful food. Very different menu Italian themed but daring. Special occasion place.
Incredible pasta everything from top to bottom was magnificen
Felidia is always top notch and consistently a delight! Many local ingredients made into superb, authentic Italian dishes. The white truffles are over the top delicious!
Would like to see a more imaginative vegetarian menu similar to what lidia cooks on her cooking show broadcasted on public tv.
We loved the food! Delicious!
The service was average. Waiter kept looking at his watch and rush us. Made us feel uncomfortable. We enjoyed the food and wine but the overall dining experience was okay!
Fantastic as usual. Chocolate ravioli the best- service friendly and attentive. Simply some of the best ITALIAN food anywhere.
Little pricey though- but worth it!
Great food ...
Felidia is always a wonderful experience. Great food and atmosphere at a good value.
We have been to Felidia several times. The food is absolutely delicious. This evening we did feel quite rushed. They rushed us to order. My mother was not finished with her appetizer, but she was asked twice within 2 minutes whether or not she was done. They cleared our plates quickly. When we finished our dessert, the bill was presented before we asked. We wanted to order coffee but the bill was already given to us. I understand the need to turn the table, but a restaurant like Felidia should not rush its regular and loyal clients.
Our meal at Felidia this past week was just about perfect. From our welcome from the Maitre d' to dessert, the food and service were impeccable. The wine list was extensive and there were wonderful, fairly priced selections available. Our table ordered the Traditional Italian Dinner and every course was a delight. The pasta courses were al dente, flavorful and satisfying-sized appropriately for a 5 course meal. I had the tuna seared on one side and it was delicious-sashimi on one side and spicy seared on the other. The waiters paced service expertly-we neither waited for any of the courses nor felt rushed. Felidia has well earned-and continues to earn-its stellar reputation. We're already planning our return trip.
Wonderful food and service, a must-do in NY. The service is impeccable and friendly.
Amazing service and food!
It was our 30th wedding anniversary. We have been here before, celebrated our 10th, and 20th. It was not as great as it used to be unfortunately. The service was outstanding! I still use Felidia's cook book. We made the mistake of not ordering pasta. :(
We sat at the bar. Marissa was awesome. The food was delicious. Good times
The food was exceptional. Best Octopus appetizer I have ever had. Others had the tuna tartar which was also exceptional. All of the entres for the group of four were super. Service was attentive but not intrusive. A great dining experience!
Authentic Italian cuisine with impeccable service. The food flavor and ingredients are delicious. This is my new favorite restaurant!
Had a wonderful dinner to celebrate our September birthdays.....food was excellent!
