Fantastic food. Did the chef’s tasting menu. Service was outstanding as well.
Food, service, and cocktails were excellent. A bit pricey but totally worth it!!!!!
A very special place. Superb food and service. We went for restaurant week but it is a great place for fine dining and special occasions
Great restaurant lunch
Went for NYC restaurant week. Menu selection was adequate, food served was very good. We like to thank the Chef for his lobster raviolis which were delicious. Will recommend to dine sat Felidia.
I've always loved their pastas but tried the tartufo pasta this time and was a bit disappointed. The truffles were great, but the pasta itself wasn't as outstanding as their usual pastas.
Felidia offered extremely small portions for Restaurant Week. My friend and I
left the restaurant feeling very hungry—unlike some of the other restaurants
we tried during Restaurant Week.
Felidia is a lovely restaurant with good food. One walks in expecting it to be good food and it lives up to expectation. Deserts are excellent as is the service.
The BRANZINO was exceptional, reminding us of the freshest fish served to us in Greece. By far the best fish ever served!
And the Fegato wasn't bad either!
Exquisite in all respects. Brilliant mix of flavors, beautifully served. One of the finest restaurants we have ever dined at.
Birthday. Too noisy.
I have been to Felidia many times over the years and have always loved going there. This time however, although the service was excellent, the food seemed tired and the usual attention to detail was missing. Even the specials were disappointing. I wasn’t happy about this visit, especially given the price of the meal which came in at over $400 for two of us. I will come back, but I hope it improves seems as though the kitchen needs a refresh.
Great dining experience, food was great and the service was exceptional. Would recommend for any occasion
Felidia has been one of our favorite restaurants for many years and we keep coming back. This may be coming to an end, sadly. One of my favorites, the tripa was drowned in a heavily reduced tomato sauce - way too much sauce and a not unpleasant but more pizza parlor taste. Almost impossible to taste the tripa itself. The polenta fried krupuk style looks nice but is bland. Bioanconere were excellent, vitello tonnato not great - not a real tuna sauce, it felt like a can of tuna had been poured over veal cold cuts. A piece of braised artichoke on it looked nice and was tasty even though it is a bit of an odd decoration. caccio e pere remains a semantic joy if not a culinary one - too sweet and mushy. The most mixed bag menu we have ever had at this formerly wonderful restaurant.
From beginning to end, this meal was fabulous. The service was impeccable. We did the tasting menu that was catered specifically to our tastes. We branched our and tried new things we never thought we would and loved them. The pastas were phenomenal. Best ravioli and tagliatelle I’ve ever had hands down. I hope to make it back one day.
Wow. What a surprise! We met Lydia the owner and executive chef. The food was AMAZING! Cannot rave enough about it. The staff were wonderful very attentive and accommodating. The restaurant has a very warm and good feel about it. Aesthetically pleasant. Really an absolutely great place to go and have a fabulous meal
Outstanding meal, service was friendly and excellent.
I dined here last night with a business colleague & his son. We had 3different tasting menus, and ended up sharing everything on out plates. Each mouthful was delicious. The Fri special ravioli was served with a velvety lobster butter sauce...delicious. Our 3 entrees were the whole sea bass, the veal tenderloin, and the grigliata, a seafood extravaganza. The seabass was expertly cooked, and melted in our mouths, as did the veal. The grigliata consisted of a half broiled lobster tail, baby shrimp, prawns in the shell, scallops, calamari, clams casino, & a razor clam all served with roasted baby vegetables...Delicious.
We had an outstanding experience at Felidia. It is already one of our favorite restaurants in NYC. We are big fans of Lidia Bastianich, the restaurant owner and renowned Chef. The food was wonderful, full of subtle flavors that together made a sumptuous meal. Each course was elegant and paired with the wine that was recommended made for a meal that was memorable. The staff were extremely courteous. We will definitely be going back!
I was pleased we were able to get our favorite table like usual. It was a nice surprise to be eating behind Lidia. After her meal she greeted us and had nice chat. The place is great if you want to hear your tables conversation. I love that I can get liver, tripe, such fresh produce and tasty sweet treats. Plus they had great gluten bread and pasta for my friend. I go seasonaly to experience their changing menu.
Another wonderful meal at Felidia! We had the 3 course lunch menu, beginning with chicken liver pate and beet salad, entrees of trippa and Sinach papardelle ith duck, finishing with dessert. With the meal, we enjoyed a delicious Barbera d'Alba, hih went perfectly with our food. Service was spot on, from the sommalier to our bus boy, and they treated us to a delicious dessert wine at the end of our meal. We look forward to our next visit!
Lunch was delicious. We ordered from the restaurant week menu and although quite good the appetizer soup course was really small. They might have been a little more generous with the broth. Everything else was wonderful.
The Food, as usual, was amazing! Staff was friendly and recommended great wines.
Great food, semi private upstairs table. We were celebrating an anniversary and the staff brought over a plate of cookies and congratulated us - a nice touch.
Consistently good food, very attentive wait staff. Always a delightful and delicious experience!
Impeccable service outstanding food with all the food profiles A bit pricey so special occasions only.
The food was excellent and very originally prepared. Portions are somewhat small for lunch but the presentation was lovely. Would return.
A friend and I had lunch here to catch up and enjoy a leisurely meal. We also wanted to take advantage of the restaurant week menu. The food was delicious and service attentive. It was a bit noisy for easy conversation though. We were also put off by the deceptive way the pre-fixe menu was presented. Desserts were listed alongside the first two courses without any notation that they were not included nor were any prices presented leading the diner to believe they were included. That left a figurative sour taste in our mouths as we left the restaurant. Not including dessert is fine, but be up front about it.
The food was good,as expected and based on previous visits. But why did I have to re-confirm three times (twice by e-mail and once by phone)? This was, to say the least, over-kill and annoying.
Delcious food, spotty sevice. Although everyone was very nice (very sweet servers, all) our shaking table was unable to be fixed (no less than three servers tried to make it stable), which made for an odd experience. The chairs (forgive me if this seems unkind) are in need of repair--many seatbacks are worn out on their upper edges. A bit sad to see in a 5 star restaurant. So this was a mixed experience. No issues with the food at all--top notch in every way. Unfortunate about the wobbling table, a few other service issues, and the feeling that the house is in need of sprucing up.
Fedilia was a great place for our Saturday night date night. It was an amazing experience! Has to be one of the best restaurants we've been to. The food is exceptional and so is the service. We had 5 courses and I cannot stop talking about it. We will go back again!
It's expensive, so it's not for all the time, but we love Felidia's for special occasions. Extremely attentive service. Nice pacing of the courses. Wide-ranging wine menu (we each had a glass with the meal--started with a cocktail). Portions are JUST right so you can partake in every course. We had the Italian-style prix fixe--two appetizers; two pastas, each divided into two portions to share and brought out separately, the lighter before the heavier; two entrees; and two dessert presentations with three mini desserts each. Ours were mixed berries, tiramisu and panna cotta. Complimentary biscotti. And we weren't stuffed at the end. What a wonderful night!
Great food, amazing service. Can’t wait to go back again!
Individual dishes were delicious, but overall I expected greater flavors and service from this flagship restaurant.
We had the best Restaurant Week lunch experience we've probably ever had in New York. Delicious, generous, and the house white Bastianich Friulano, at $10 a glass, is a wonderful bargain. It was a real treat paired with the house cured smoked salmon appetizer.
Lunched during restaurant week. Penne appetizer was excellent. Chicken entre was good. Splurged for dessert and ordered the TiramiSummer - prepared with berries. Loved it! Felt a little rushed, but overall good experience.
This was one of the best dining experiences that I have had. The food was high quality and delicious. The staff were very attentive. Atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely recommend your restaurant to others and plan to come back soon.
Outstanding food and service. Great ambiance. Look forward to a return visit.
