Felice - Columbus Ave
Felice Columbus, brings the vineyards of the Tuscan Countryside to the Upper West Side.
The space is two levels spanning nearly 4,000 square feet, with the main ground-level dining room flooded by light from a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows and showcasing a striking 42 ½ foot bar. The lower level is an intimate cocktail and wine lounge.
The menu consists of Felice favorites including the Fusilli al Ferretto e Burrata and Pappardelle con Salsiccia, as well as, house specials using cured and smoked fish, and a Verdure section of the menu, the chef’s interpretation of plant-based and seasonal vegetables sourced from local farms.
An extensive drink menu can be enjoyed both in the main dining room or downstairs in the lounge. The robust Negroni program is not to be missed, featuring several curated Negroni cocktails, as well as, a build-your-own-Negroni option where you can create a tailor-made cocktail.

The restaurant is pretty and our server was very friendly. This does not compensate for the terrible food. My salmon and vegetables were tasteless and so oily that I couldn’t consume more than 3 bites. The chicken Milanese was mushy with a sweet Sysco style dressing and completely inedible. We were so disappointed.
Service - A
Service was very good but I was not impressed with the food. My husband ordered linguine with clams and the clams were in little pieces and almost nonexistent! My salmon was not special. Bread was stale.
The new FELICE on the UWS occupies the space formerly known as CAFE TALLULAH, whose $1.50 oysters are sorely missed. Felice's menu is a bit limited, but what there is, is excellent. Service is the weak link here, even during slow times such a late afternoon/early evening. We especially enjoyed the lovely, warm personality of an Italian/Albanian maitre/manager, named Elvis.
Great table , great service and great food ! Thank you !
Amazing food and service. We had an 8:30 reservation and they couldn't seat us until 9 pm....so they sent us some free appetizers as soon as we sat down. The ambience was perfect, dimmed lights and music just loud enough to hear, but not too loud to speak in a normal voice. The food was delicious! Highly recommend!
Loved the new downstairs lounge for drinks
Very nice setting and good service. Food was disappointing.
great food...great presentation....a bit to noisy for good conversation.
Great Italian Neigjbor restaurant
Loved everything about it!
Table was far too small. The plate of mussels was full, but quite a few of the mussels were empty of meat..Very messy to eat (not your fault), but no room to maneuver.
Room got quite noisy (again, perhaps not your fault).
Food was delicious. Portions quite excellent! Service good!
Delicious dinner and drinks and great service in a cozy, yet good energy vibe dining room. Thanks Felice!!
Great addition to the neighborhood! I think it's my new favorite Chicken Milanese since Machiavelli closed. I've been to other locations always find that the entire staff is friendly and attentive, even those that aren't serving us. I'll definitely return - the menu had a lot of things I'd like try another time soon.
We finally got around to trying this relatively new neighborhood restaurant. The food was wonderful and the manager was extremely friendly and welcoming.. We really felt at home though it was a bit noisy and tables are small? but the great food outweighs any negatives.
I have seen this location change hands so many times and was just hoping for something special. The service was indifferent. (Except for one man who was quite charming and attentive…should have gotten his name.) The appetizers were pretty good….soup and a ricotta with figs dish…but the entrees were mediocre at best. The salmon salad was basically a bed of bitter radicchio and the chef had trouble with “medium” when cooking the fish. A panini was really just a sandwich. And the staff couldn’t figure out dressing, silverware…the basics.
Just kind of annoying and disappointing for a “high end” location. Will probably go back bc it’s my neighborhood but would order pasta….which, when I looked at other tables, looked good.
Great food and wine. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. I'll return.
Very good experience overall
I can see why it’s empty.
This was our second time here and it was unlike our first time which was terrific in terms of the food and the very attentive service. This time was very subpar. It was in essence an oily experience. The waitress immediately poured oil on our bread plates without asking and not realizing that, when I went to butter my bread, the knife became greasy and got all over my hands and thankfully I caught that before it got onto my clothes because the cloth napkin did not fully eliminate the oil. I ordered new items which were also very slick. The carpaccio of carciofi had a layer of shaved parmesan on top and underneath was a meager amount of carciofi which had too much oil on it. And my eggplant parmiagiana was unlike any I have tasted before and again with too much oil in it. Also, the space is much too dark and if you sit by the window, it is way too drafty. And the service was fair and the atmosphere much too frenetic. With all of the choices of Italian places to eat nearby, I doubt we will return. What a pity as we have dined at their eastside location on 64th Street and have always enjoyed it there. And my husband's pizza was way too small given the high price for it.
Love this place! We always go to Felice 64, but Columbus location is lovely and worth crossing the park for.
Reliably good food and service.
We celebrated a friend's birthday at Felice last night, and the raves we had read about the restaurant were on target! The food was fantastic. There four of us shared three appetizers: Bruschetta, Carciofi e Calamari Fritti (fried baby artichokes and calamari, parsley, lemon), and Arancini (rice balls, tomato, mozzarella, oregano, served with arrabbiata sauce). The only slight letdown was the Bruchetta, which was a bit soggy. One of us had the Zuppa Contadina, a stew-like soup of farm vegetables, chickpeas, white beans, lacinato kale, and olive oil. All our entrees were excellent: Linguine Alla Viareggina, Pappardelle con Salsiccia (I had it made with gluten-free pasta, which was one of the best GF pastas I'd ever tasted), Chicken Milanese, and Branzino Al Cartoccio. We shared a few desserts: Principessa (lemon sponge layered between vanilla pastry creme and whipped cream, topped with almond marzipan), Tortino di Gianduia (chocolate hazelnut mousse cake), and three scoops of gelato: Vanilla, Pistachio, and Hazelnut. Scrumptious! My biggest issue with Felice was the noise level—way too high for my comfort. But it was worth putting up with. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive without being overbearing. I know we'll be back!
worst food i have had in my entire life!!!!! horribleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Very poor service, raw omelette. Definitely not worth the cost.
Service was extremely slow and the restaurant appeared to be very understaffed. However the food was outstanding and reasonably priced.
Setting and food were excellent. Service was a bit slow
The caprice salad tomatoes were over ripe and mushy ( ugh!)
The Mediterranean branzino was a VERY small
portion of fish hidden by alot of potatoes and some veggies.. my husband ate a slice of pizza on the way home he was so hungry!
The salmon and sauteed spinach was well prepared. The chocolate cake was amazing .
Service SO slow
Starters arrived before drinks
They were very friendly however
Service staff seemed disorganised- yes they were busy but seemed more due to disorganisation than workload
Food was fine - nothing special
Not sure I’d go back
Nice table outdoors. They are super short staffed so service was not good but they really tried. Food was good.
Service was poor in that constantly felt pressured / rushed to get through the meal so that the next reservation could take the table. Was there for < 1 hour and had no less than 6 different interruptions to hurry us along. It feels like constant rush to turn over tables.
We all were very happy with our service and food especially our friend Felice
Good food at a reasonable price. Need more servers so sometimes a long time between courses. I would recommend this restaurant
Service was very good.
Good sized portions but food is mediocre.
They push you out quickly once you finish.
Will not be back.
The service was horrible. I had three servers tell me they were waiting on plates while our pasta was in the table . Martinis served in champagne glass , wine in water glass .
So horribly disappointing !!
Seemed to be some problems with kitchen coordination/ timing of food. Waited 45 min for appetizers, which were good but not great. Main courses finally arrived lukewarm. House tried to compensate with free drinks/ desserts which was nice. Food is good but nothing special. Ambiance very nice.
Pasta was overcooked. Excellent and friendly service. Nice ambiance for a date.
First time there won’t be last. Excellent meal. Good servers. Nice atmosphere
Highly recommend this new addition to the food desert on the Upper West Side. Have eaten here already three times, twice at lunch and once for dinner and the restaurant doesn't disappoint. Love the artichoke carpaccio, the Nizarda salad and the chicken dish on the dinner menu. Servers are appropriately attentive and accommodating. My only suggestion would be to open some of the windows, weather permitting, so there is more ventilation in the indoor dining room.
We sat outside and they were kind enough to bring us a heater - which made it possible to sit and enjoy our meal in otherwise chilly temperatures. Food was delicious and drinks were well executed.
