The food was very good
The service was professional but not very personable
The location was not as expected- it appears they have taken over an existing restaurant in the lower level of a hotel. It looks as if the decor stayed the same from prior restaurant. Having eaten at their other restaurant this wasn’t the same experience
Exquisit gastronimic experience surrounded by a contemporarean chic decor and atmosphere, this is the right place to take people who appreciate very fresh, healthy high quality italian tuscan food.
This is a hidden gem. From the street it looks like a coffee shop, but a large handsome dining room is down one fight. The food was delicious, servers were very gracious and attentive and the room is a quiet haven— somewhat formal but lovely lighting and comfortable spacing.
High quality home made cooking very healthy, fresh and delicious meal.
Very good food but the music is too loud. Interferes with table conversation. Good service and atmosphere and space between tables. Just turned down the music!
Nice quiet atmosphere. All the food was great
I came across this place while searching "best Italian restaurants in Manhattan" and they were spot on! The service, from the expeditor to the wait staff, was very attentive, and accommodating. Always made sure we had everything we needed, and if we did need anything, they were quick to get it. Our server, Andres M. was fantastic. Very knowledgeable of the menu, and made great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for. The ambience of Felice 56 is very elegant, low-light, and warm. Definitely a great location for a date night, or any other special occasion. The upper level is a cafe/bar that overlooks the main restaurant on the lower level. The main restaurant is fairly small compared to other big name restaurants in the city, consisting of about 40-50 tables and booths. The table seating along the wall is very tight, causing you to feel on top of the people next to you. This put us in a position to ask for a new table, which they were gracious enough to accommodate us with. The food was very good. I had the carbonara which was delicious, but the portions were a bit small. It would be good if the portion sizes matched the prices they charged. $25.00 for a small bowl of pasta. Overall, our experience was great. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, and look forward to coming back soon.
Only for a special occasion, like Valentine's Day. Food was very good but overpriced.
The space itself is gorgeous...it sets the stage for the entire fantastic experience. The service is second to none. All the servers, waiters, and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Then there's the food...we each enjoyed our meals, from the bread basket, minestrone soup, to main dishes. The carbonara is the best in the city. I can't wait to return.
Lovely setting, wonderful waiter, attentive personnel. Food was delicious, however, portions quite small. Best tiramisu ever!
Super dinner.Highly recommandable.
We will go back as soon as possible.
Amazing meal with great service during NYC Restaurant Week. Order the Minestrone soup, black pepper salmon, and chocolate gelato. Absolutely delicious in a gorgeous ambiance.
Excellent addition to the neighborhood. I will definitely return
When I return to New York. Beautiful room and lunch special is very appealing. Service was outstanding.
Wonderful staff, loved our waitress and bus person. The atmosphere and design of the space is stunning. I had the fluke as an appetizer and would return just for that.
So-so. The service was good but the food is not so good
Wonderful experience enhanced by staff and especially Megan
We arrived and noticed they were still honoring the Restaurant Week deals so we obviously took advantage.
In our party of 3 we all ordered different items for each of the 3 courses; The options just were not good. Even with the restaurant week prices being honored, we left extremely disappointed in what we paid vs how good the food was.
I will say however that once they noticed we weren't pleased/did not enjoy our entrees, they sent over two dessert options that were not part of the restaurant week deal and they were given to us free of charge.
Great restaurant week menu! The food was terrific and the service was great. Would definitely go back!
Absolutely amazing food, drinks, wine pairings. Best dining experience in a long time
Absolutely delicious incredibly fresh-tasting food, beautiful restaurant, really nice, well-informed and professional wait staff. The bread alone, and fresh ricotta with olive oil, was outstanding. Try the olive bread! White wine was served crisply ice-cold, delicious. Fabulous mozzarella starter, main was pasta with clams and mussels, garlic white wine sauce. Fantastic. Dining partner loved his steak. Even the espresso was perfect - just like in Italy. Would definitely go again, and have already recommended to friends.
Pretty space. Acoustics such that you can talk. Exceptional food. Beautiful, fresh, thoughtfully prepared food. Most potions are large enough to split. Great staff. It’s a winner.
Delicious. See my prior review
Wonderful staff! Extremely kind and helpful. The atmosphere was very romantic and the food was delicious. Special shout out to our waitress Mirka!!
Excellent food and beautiful restaurant. Wake staff seems inexperienced and food delivery is not Precise. This last time our dreams came after our main course was delivered. Three times when food was delivered waiters don't seem to know who at the table is supposed to get what.
The restaurant's new and maybe when they develop a stable staff service will pick up. It's not an acceptable but could improve.
Veal meatball appetizers and carbonara are excellent.
Everything was perfect. It was a very good expérience at a very good price.
Too expensive for mostly pasta dishes. The setup is nice but the price is too high.
Celebration for our Sister’s birthday, everything from the food, to the service, to the ambience was outstanding! We will be back soon!! Thank you!!! :-)
Delicious, authentic Italian food. Beautiful decor. Wonderful and attentive waiters. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal!!!
Enjoyed a delightful prix fixe lunch with a friend at this high-ceilinged jewel of a restaurant. I had a mozzarella e pomodori appetizer, salmon entree and a to-die-for tiramisu for dessert. All amply proportioned and impeccably served, with plates for sharing. It's so hard to find a place to enjoy a quiet meal and conversation without feeling rushed in this part of NYC. And the prix fixe lunch was very reasonably priced. I hope they don't get spoiled by success.
Incredible vibes, service and food!! This will be a new go to!
Excellent in every way - food, service, ambiance!!!!
We had heard from a friend that his meal was superb - on that basis we tried the new restaurant out and wow! we agree with the friend and will go back as often as we can - staff was friendly and helpful and courtesy and nice - menu is very interesting - kitchen is simply superb - a welcome addition to very good dining in nyc
Fresh delicious food, warm and friendly service. Loved this place.
Truly Tuscan menu and lovely wine selection. Whole Branzino filleted, was amazing. My wife eats it often and thought it was the best in 20 years (Florenza Holiday). I had Cocoa Papperadelle with Veal Ragu that I enjoyed thoroughly. Alexandra provided excellent service. She was delightful. Verrry knowledgeable. On a busy night, 10 days before Christmas, it was an A+ evening.
All of the food was fantastic. The Funghi Arrosto was so good I remember the name of the dish three days later.
Menu drinks at bar not so tasty. Food was good however limited selection of pasta dishes. Service was good didn’t make u rushed.
We went for our one year anniversary. We showed up early but were given a table. The service felt like fine dining, crumb tablecloth cleaning, attentive but not in your face. However the staff was still approachable, friendly, and gave a feeling as if you were a regular.
The cocktails were good and not your typical, I had a chili apple vanilla creation (very good!). The food was very fine dining but also not pretentious. Like a grandma was making a fancy dinner!
This was our first time having Tuscany Italian. However, 2 months ago we spent a week in Rome and had what felt like the beat tiramisu in Rome. Felice served tiramisu that was just as good as our beat experience! The one and only reason it wasn’t better than Rome was that there was a little too much cocoa on top. So a 99.8 instead of 100!
We would go back many times.
Lovely meal not too far from our City Center engagement. Delicious spaghetti and branzino.
From the moment we came in the door, the staff treated us as long time friends. The server gave excellent suggestions on both food and wine, and all his suggestions were spot on. The food came out hot and very well seasoned, my wife had the sea bass and is still raving out the presentation and the flavor. I had the Tortelloni de la Nona, super! everything from the apps to the desert was amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat( but I would try all the other great choices next time)
Needed a tasty spot for lunch after sightseeing and after researching made a reservation at Felice 56. The ambiance was lovely as well as the food. Every dish was perfectly cooked and it was an overall great experience.
