Feather & Hide Bar & Grill
We buy fresh meats, vegetables, eggs and fruits direct from the farm. We then hand pick what we stock in the farm shop and our restaurants. Our milk comes from Webbery Moos, a local family run dairy with a passion for milk. We bake all our fresh breads and pastries daily. We use local artisan suppliers for our cured meats and cheese.
We have teamed up with Heddens of Woodtown to offer fresh food boxes. These can be pre-ordered through the farm shop.

Beautiful 3 course meal. Superbly cooked and well presented. The service was outstanding! Thrilled with the complementary pudding for my husband’s birthday, a very nice touch.
It’s a nicely laid out dining area, bright and clean. Not ideal for a quiet dinner for two however a nice atmosphere.
Would definitely recommend for the food.
Excellent food. Every item from starters to the main course was amazing. We had dinners 4 times and lunch once during our stay. All really good. Thanks
Food is good quality
The pizza are the best of the food we have tried
If you want something such as garlic bread a side salad ask and see if they can provide
Nice meal for a young family. The children enjoyed their brownie sundaes 😋 Staff very polite.
We had the pizza. Lovely! Thin crisp base but no side salad or garlic bread on offer. No option to add to a basic pizza either. No veggie starter on menu but when we asked it was offered. Menu lacks enough vegetarian options. If some extras had been on the menu we would have spent more. The deserts are delicious and homemade but this isn’t advertised as such.
Lovely food and atmosphere.
Nice outdoor seating area.
Disappointed - menu online is out of date so didn't have 2 out of the 3 courses chosen at home before we arrived. Limited vegetarian options available. Vege burger and chips was OK but no side salad or care seemed to go into the plate of food. Hubby disappointed no rib eye available so had t-bone but thought is was quite expensive.
On the positive serving staff were very polite and attentive.
Excellent service and very customer focussed
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this newish restaurant at Woodford Bridge Hotel. If you like meat and locally sourced ingredients this would be an ideal venue. The ruby red beef was delicious. Time share resorts are not known for the quality of their restaurants. This is an exception. We wish the enterprise well.
Great service from the very pleasant staff. Food super, menu varied...something for everyone. Enjoyed our evening, would return.
Tea and coffee arrived then a 45 minute wait before my husbands breakfast arrived, minus black pudding which was missed! Another 10 minutes before my breakfast arrived! Expensive for the portion size.
Great service, delicious food. Will certainly go again.
Excellent food. Very helpful staff service was excellent to highly recommended
Good lovely bit overpriced friendly staff but slow service
Excellent service, very good quality food and good value for money. Recommended
Could not fault the service from start to finish. Food extremely good.
as soon as we walked in Fabulous welcome taken to our seats offered drinks advised what soup of the day was.Plenty of staff on hand and they were friendly and knowledgeable.the food was delicious mussels melted in the mouth, appledore crab fettuccine was delicious
Wonderful cottage style building spoilt by the very bland feature less interior.
Lovely family meal extra thanks to the kitchen staff for the special “congratulations “ dessert
Live local and haven’t used Woodford for a few years as food went downhill.Tried lunch with a friend, very enjoyable will visit again with my husband.
The waiter who served my wife and I knew his job excellent
Excellent service. Food was really good. Out of all the places we've eaten in North Devon this is the best
Excellent service and great quality food. Will definitely be returning
Food and service very good but need to sort wi-fi payment systems as seem very hit and miss
The Sunday menu was quite restricted and a very poor selection for vegetarians with only 2 choices and one having run out
It was a pity that the excellent service and good food was let down somewhat by a lack of ambience / atmosphere, due to a distinct absence of personality or style in the restaurant layout and decour.
Excellent restaurant providing outstanding food with impeccable service.
The Tiger prawns and mussels were cooked to perfection. The fish and chips and sea bass were also cooked to perfection.
The sticky toffee pudding was enormous and delicious.
An overall outstanding experience.
The staff enhanced the experience with their attentive and friendly approach.
Clean, soup was great. Pate only served with 2 small piece of bread. Mains of fish and chips and pie were excellent. Service was fantastic from Harvey
4 meals ,4 very happy people. THANKS. Staff helpful and friendly
Nice atmosphere with a good choice for both eating and drinking. Outside area is inviting too.
Exceptional customer service. Our son is Autistic and they were amazing accommodating his and our needs.
Good incredible and amazing valve for money. Will definitely be returning.
Good food at a good price. I liked that the food didn't arrive too quickly but we didn't have to wait over long the meal, we felt as if it was properly cooked for us and not just warmed up in a microwave. Friendly and efficient service by the staff.
Restaurant was busy when we arrived at 6.45. Surprised to be told there was only 1 Haddock left and that was probably gone. Drinks took a while to arrive and by then our expectations of the food we would receive were not that high.
Our Fettucini and Steak Pie arrived shortly afterwards and I have to say the flavours were excellent, the food really was pretty good and on that basis I would recommend it.
Food was cold and poor value for money. Service was good and issues dealt with promptly. Maybe just an off day.
Lovely meal with friends. Service was excellent. Would definitely recommend
Lovely food in a good atmosphere; a great addition to the Woodford Bridge offering.
Nice restaurant well laid out for social distancing. First choice mains both unavailable. Starter very poor value generally overpriced.
Dealt with on arrival by Will, very professional and mature head on young shoulders, head waiter in the making. Both our meals were superb, and special thanks to Ian the Chef for slicing up my wife's steak so that she could eat it with her good hand, as her other arm was in a plaster cast.
Very good service and lovely food
The staff were very attentive to my wife's dairy and gluten intolerance, with the kitchen making cauliflower without cheese, roast potatoes with no butter, and gluten free gravy.
Special thanks to Andy and Will who made numerous trips to the kitchen to ensure our meals were sorted. We both had the Sunday roast pork.
