Feast - Tucson
Feast is also a wine and liquor shop with twenty wines by the glass, a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence winner for the past eleven years running, and a full-service caterer.
Great food as always and service. Fabulous dessert
Feast is one of our favorite restaurants. We love their regular dining with the changing monthly menu, their wine tastings are always informative and fun, and their special holiday dinners are delicious. This time, we were there for the bastille day special menu. The food was fabulous and, despite being very busy, the service was impeccable. We never miss a chance to enjoy Feast’s Food, atmosphere and service.
The experience was uneven. The appetizer (squash blossom) was spectacular. The dessert (Sechwan mousse) was very good. The entree (coq au vin) was tasteless.
Dined here twice. Menu is very creative albeit a bit limited with top quality ingredients. Service is friendly yet efficient. Superior wine list. We’ll definitely return.
Feast is a great restaurant with a very innovative menu. The service is excellent. The menu changes often so it is always uses in-season, fresh ingredients. We joined them for Sunday brunch. We had an interesting cava drink with Aperol and Bauchant, which was not very strong but very refreshing on a hot, summer day. They have an extensive wine list, although we didn't have wine with our brunch. The brunch menu is diverse, with traditional breakfast items, such as eggs benedict (with ham or lobster) and omelets. In addition, there are sweet breakfast items, such as waffles and French toast. There are also a number of lunch items, including a soup of the day, sandwiches, salads, and some salmon dishes. I had the Croque Monsieur, which was delicious, and my husband had the Scottish salmon, which he said was excellent. My meal came with a simple green salad with a very good vinaigrette on it.
Yummy food, Doug did a great job, as usual! We love the wine list. There are so many choices and prices
are reasonable. One of our favorite spots in town!
Our first visit to Feast was amazing! Atmosphere was great. Food was SO GOOD and the chef makes his rounds with patrons in the dining room. We'll definitely be back!
Was recommended by friends-so glad we went! Excellent food and wine.
The special appetizer we shared was so good we were fighting over who got the most! It was a combination of spiced cured pork loin, sliced thinly and served chilled with slow-cooked egg, frisée, chickpeas and cured tomatoes. One of the things I love about Feast is their willingness to try new combinations of flavors, be a bit daring, and deliver a wonderful experience for my taste buds!
Go to Feast and live a little!
Our server was terrible. She was not welcoming or knowledgeable, she made us feel stupid for asking questions. She got a few things incorrect with our order including when things were served. However, The food was magnificent!!!! We didn’t let her ruin our experience but it did negatively impact it for sure.
This was the best overall dining experience I’ve had since moving to Tucson 6 months ago! The food was consistently Outstanding, the wine selection amazing and well priced. We were fortunate to have the chef available to help us with our entree and wine selections and were so impressed by his hands on attention. Absolutely fabulous! We can’t wait to return!
First time at Feast, I will definitely return! The food was inventive and delicious, and with the frequently changing menu, there will always be something new and exciting to try. The food is excellent, but the star of the show, in my opinion, is the extensive wine list. This list includes many outstanding wines, old world as well as new world wines and importantly, wines across the spectrum of price -- a number of full bottles for under $30. The fact that they sell wine at retail prices (plus corkage fee), but waive the corkage fee if you buy a second bottle to take home is, in my experience, a unique pricing strategy. It is a great way to try a wine with a meal before deciding to buy more for home. Thank you Doug Levy for a memorable evening.
Impeccable food and service.
Always interesting menu, great wine selection/shop, knowledgeable staff and doug levy rocks!
A group of friends enjoyed a special evening of Spanish food and wine offerings. The paella was exquisite and very tasty, that included an amazing chorizo. The recommended white wine was perfect with the paella, and the final course, a flan that was so smooth and well balanced, finished a fun evening.
We'd heard about Feast since we moved to Tucson 3 years ago but hadn't gotten around to trying it until this past Saturday. We've been missing out!
Our 7:30 reservation was ready when we arrived. Service was immediately attentive. We liked the casual, comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
After a cocktail we split a salad appetizer that was very good. My wife ordered the pork meatballs with sticky rice, etc., and I ordered the crawfish etouffee. Both dishes were outstanding. Portions were quite good for us. Presentation was nice.
We declined dessert as we were plenty full.
Feast has definitely shot to the top of our 'go to' restaurants in Tucson and we look forward to taking out of town guests there.
I usually don't like to give 5 stars after just one visit to any restaurant preferring to visit again and see about consistency over time. But in the case of Feast I am comfortable after just one visit. We'll be back soon!
Fried chicken salad was not up to par with other dishes
Very nice find for new Tucson residents!!
Extraordinarily good food in a relaxed, quiet, and beautiful room. Everyone's meal was creatively designed, beautifully presented and made with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. Great service, too. The cucumber-yogurt gazpacho with grapes and almonds was delicate and simply delicious. My new favorite restaurant in Tucson - I wish I'd discovered it sooner! I'll be back again soon.
Server was friendly and responsive. Food was slow to come and was only okay. I found my corned beef hash to be dry and bland. The appetizers were much tastier but the portions minuscule. For the price, I expected more taste and larger portions. Probably wouldn’t come back for brunch but maybe to try dinner.
We had a very good time. The food was both tasty and well proportioned, the service was friendly and helpful. We were there for brunch and will return for dinner. they had a store where you could buy gourmet items (balsamic vinegar, etc) and an eclectic collection of wines.
Feast is a wonderful, unique local spot. The food is delicious every time and the drinks are always refreshing. I went there for brunch for the first time! The croque madame was perfect.
Celebrating my husband’s birthday
I have eaten at Feast since the place first opened and had a takeaway counter. I have enjoyed every meal I have eaten there. My last visit was no exception. First, the wine values are significant. Feast has one of the best wine lists in town, and it is all very fairly priced. The tempranillo we had was perfect for our meal, and we simply really liked it. Doug and his team are great at remembering what you like, and can make great recommendations for something new to enjoy. All of us in my party were completely happy with our food, too. The softshell crab dish had a crazy delicious honey drizzle that my friend drag her finger across her plate so that she left none behind. My other friend had the scallop strawberry salad and was very happy with that, commenting on the refreshing quality of the combination of ingredients. I had a simple dish of chicken and grits. The grits were so delicious, creamy and flavorful, and they were simply well done grits! The chicken itself was very well prepared and had a tasty glazey-sauce that complemented the creamy grits really well. We always go to Feast for our celebration of things large or small, and we are always glad to have dined there.
Always a great experience!
The portions were reasonable given the price, and generally speaking, was very tasty. Would go again.
Everybody here at Feast is amazing from Doug to all the waiters and waitresses. Don’t miss this place top wine list and the best food in Tucson.
Lisa is a divine server. Take her advice on food and drinks.
The crepes and corned-beef hash were delicious and fresh. The service was welcoming and knowledgable. Great brunch!
It was our first time visiting Feast but definitely will not be our last. They really make you feel welcome and do their best to make sure you are satisfied. Very impressed.
This is easily the best restaurant in Tucson. The quality of the food is superb and they always strive to ensure your meal is perfect. We started with the happy hour wine and snack pairings which were expertly done. We then had the soft shell crab appetizer which might be my new Favorite. Our entrees were the salmon and scallops salad and the tenderloin. The salad was great and they made sure the tenderloin was cooked perfectly. Delicious!
Doug is great. Love going to Feast
The space is beautiful and service was great. It wasn’t busy at all on Thursday evening. The food was missing something - came across as very bland and under seasoned.
Could Feast possibly be getting even better?? Just found out we can go online to see a photo of the special of the day! The summer weekly request menu always has popular favorites that customers have requested, and I have bravely tried new things and been glad I did. Carrot and cauliflower fritters were loved by both of us, and then I tried a special of scallops and salmon with a frisé and strawberry salad. The food was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh and lively. Everyone who works there is friendly and accommodating, and we always feel warmly welcomed. Wish I could go there everyday!
Interior is a little dated but that’s not a big deal.
We arrived very early - not a problem. They were kind and thoughtful and our server made suggestions to get 12 orders so we could eat through basically the whole menu! Really amazing food. I’d order everything again tomorrow night
Feast is a true gem. Staff are friendly and efficient, the food is reliably delicious, and the ambiance is nice, but not overly formal.
We always enjoy eating at Feast. The food is great. Owner and Chef Doug Levy always comes around to make sure that his diners are happy and remembers those of us who return often. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and will help with wine selection. The staff is very friendly and many of them have been working at Feast for a long time.
I enjoy cooking and am reluctant to eat out just for the sake of doing so. Over past 18 years Feast has become our "go to" restaurant where we know we will get a superb meal, enjoy the ambience and leave happy. Menu is never boring, dishes sometimes off-beat but always delicious. I commend Doug for maintaining standards over the years, resisting falling into the 'same old" trap and constantly upping the game to delight diners. We'll be back. Thank you.
