Feast - Tucson
Feast is also a wine and liquor shop with twenty wines by the glass, a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence winner for the past eleven years running, and a full-service caterer.
This is one of the finest restaurants in Tucson. Every single thing was perfect. The decor was magnificent. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The food was some of the finest I've ever had. This was our first visit to Feast. We will definitely be returning for another grilled cheese sandwich and more homemade ice cream. Oh my it was to die for!
Food was great and it is so nice how the Chef comes by to see how everything is and then is there to thank you for coming in when you leave.
outstanding service with creative cuisine that was absolutely delicious!
Good food and big wine list. We’ll be back.
Feast has been my home away from home for over 20 years. Always a place to eat delicious food and feel welcome. The menu offers both comfort food and adventurous options (and everything in between). I LOVE Feast.
The shaved ribeye and poached eggs on succulent potato pancakes with bay leaf butter was divine. Wow.
Absolutely fabulous!!! Our favorite place of the entire weekend/. I can’t believe this place isn’t packed. The food is SO good!!!!
Always worth the trip. We visit Feast every time we’re in town (we live in PHX). Feast never disappoints. The red curry custard was fantastic.
Sommelier was wonderful. Server had little warmth, but was knowledgeable of menu. Owner/ chef’s visit to tables is great, unique touch.
We had a very hard time deciding what to order. The menu selection is not large but there were so many delicious items on the menu we had difficulty deciding which one to try on this visit. One of our party had the duck breast & escargot special. It was delicious. Two of us ordered the scallops. They were perfectly prepared and very delicious. We ordered a carrot cake to take home for our desert. It was very good. A delightful evening.
We stopped for lunch. Prompt service and waitress was friendly and knew the menu well. Our food was fresh and very good. I had two of the small plates - flat bread with pear, arugula and cheese - excellent and the flatbread was delicious. Octopus, crawfish with fingerling potatoes and green beans was a nice amount and very fresh flavors. My guest had the grilled cheese and eggplant with side salad and was very pleased. Highly recommend the drink specials - ABC and the rosemary infused vodka cocktail. Would recommend for fresh ingredients that change seasonally and if want great service, wine/cocktails.
The food was cooked to perfection and had a beautiful presentation. The taste combinations were creative and the dishes had a nice variety of textures (smooth, crunchy, crispy, sort, chewy, firm, etc.)
However, the main dishes could have used more seasoning (we had the game hen and the daily special, which was halibut). This was not a huge inconvenience since there was salt present at the table (albiet iodized). In addition, a little bit more acid would have been helpful to lighten the main dishes on the pallate.
The dessert was the star of the show. We got the cocoa roulade. The balance of it was exquisite. The tart of the berries, mixed with the bitterness of the ganache and the sweetness of the cocoa genoise and horchata whipped cream was beautiful. Thw little bits of crispy poha sprinkles were a delightful touch. Everything about this dish danced on the tongue.
The pear flat bread was the second best dish of the evening. The rosemary-smoked pears really elevated the dish. A tiny bit of acid may have made it better (like a mist of diluted aged Balsamic).
Overall, it was a great experience made better by the charming chef who stopped by to check in with us a couple of times throughout our meal. His down-to-earth vibe made us feel like we were guests in his home rather than his restaurant.
I wonder if Michelin restaurant critics would agree with me ... oh well, we might never know
A friend recommended Feast to me as a great place to take my wife on a special date. The restaurant delivered in spades. The food was unique and perfectly cooked and plated. The staff were pleasant and engaging. The ambiance was nice. I found myself recommending them to a friend of mine yesterday after this excellent experience.
Always a wonderful experience. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.
Delicious meal- the pork with sweet potato gnocchi was fantastic!
Lovely dinner for a group of friends. Food was wonderful, service was excellent. Drinks were fun. A good time was had by all!
Feast is the place that you take out-of-towners to, because they're not going to get such a well-rounded, delectable experience anywhere else. The service is top notch, and the ever-changing menu is a delightful blend of classics, comfort food and downright odd concoctions that always seem to turn out deliciously.
Great locally owned and operated wine bar/bistro! Best selection of wine and food in Tucson. Ever changing menu of well prepared delicious and original dishes. Something for everyone!
Food was fresh with seasonal flavors. Service was good.
From the moment we were warmly greeted at the door to the last morsel of our fabulous dinner, the Feast experience was exceptional. Each entree was cooked and presented to perfection - so flavorful! I love this place for a casual dinner or for something a bit more special. I’ve never been disappointed.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Feast over the weekend. The quality of the food was quite outstanding, and the flavors surprised at times. Do yourself a treat and order the carrot cake with Gorgonzola - the paring with apricot infused honey was a revelation.
Wife had the Brined Game hen and it had almost no taste, boiled chicken. Sauce over it was plain and less than basic.
I had the beef salad that I was insured by server it was heartier meal choice. Romaine lettuce with a dollop of plain yogurt. 2 slices of over cooked/burnt eggplant and 5 thin slices of beef that wasnt bad.
One saving grace was the delicious Gorgonzola cheese frosted carrot cake. The only thing Id go back for.
Ever changing menu. Great combinations and wonderful flavors. Been going here for decades.
PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST WINE LISTS IN TUCSON WITH MANY AFFORDABLE ONES.
Our server Samantha was so attentive and knowledgeable, she made excellent food and wine suggestions and was generally amicable to be around. Beautiful food.
Pleasant, homey atmosphere and respectful service even as a single diner. The Sonoran Restaurant Week special was well prepared and imaginative.
The food was excellent. The waitress enhanced our meal, as she was nonintrusive and pleasantly made recommendations. For example, when ordering a Vodka tonic, she introduced us to Feast's homemade tonic, which was a nice change from the typical Schweppes tonic water.
It was a nice evening. Thanks Feast!
I love Feast!! I wish I could eat there every day.
This is one of our most favorite Tucson restaurants!.
Food is always creative and delish here. I had to have the squash blossoms once last time while they are still in season. And the desserts, well wow. Cardamom and chocolate and cinnamon all in one. Just what you need on a hot summer day
I don't understand why there are not lines out the door for brunch. It maybe that were in the late group at 2 pm but I was happy to not wait and to have such grand food. This is the fourth time we have come to Feast and it never disappoints. There is always some new and delightful treat, this time we had stuffed squash blossoms with garlic honey, I am still thinking about how yummy they were. Great wine selection and the ambiance is urban but comfortable. Feast has it all so don't miss this place.
We are regulars at Feast. I wish there were more non-meat options, or suggestions as to how to modify menu items to exclude meat. Also, when we were asked if it was a special occasion, I responded that it was a birthday (my husband's 75) and was surprised --but not upset--that they did not do anything special. I'll be back for lunch tomorrow!
The back dining room is pretty noisy when it's near full. It was hard to have a conversation and to not be participants in the conversation of the next table over. But the food is WONDERFUL and the service was GREAT.
Always an unexpected menu. Always amazing food. We have eaten with Doug Levy for 20 years. What añ amazing gift for well prepared, delicious food.
Feast is our favorite restaurant in Tucson. We love the creative menu and the food is always delicious.
Wonderful food and ambience. Service was exceptional. A new favorite!
The best most creative chief in town. Ever changing menu
I love the variety of choices and being able to try foods I have never had. The service is awesome and Doug is always around to ensure that everyone is happy. Feast is my go to for an excellent meal
Very innovative and well put together food for someone seeking not the typical menu items you always see. Definitely one of my favorite new spots in Tucson and will surely return.
