Feast - Tucson
Feast is also a wine and liquor shop with twenty wines by the glass, a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence winner for the past eleven years running, and a full-service caterer.
The food and service were excellent.
It was quite noisy, mostly due to a loud foursome seated behind us.
We will probably use your establishment for special occasions.
Delicious food in a cool space. Great wine list! We met the owner!
Excellent ! Chef owner/ Doug/ was very attentive to make sure all was perfect. Which it was. My clients from Santa Fe and Ca were very impressed .
Amazing food. Excellent wine choices. Always top notch.
Excellent, as always. Unique food not found in most local restaurants.
Great place for a delightful evening
Owner is charming
Food locally sourced, creative and delicious
Don’t miss it!!
Great service. Great food! No complaints. Wonderful dining experience.
The food was excellent - beautifully presented and very tasty. My companion and I shared all courses at a lunch and were very well fed indeed. The wines are not so known (to me) and both the Pinot Grigio and the Cabernet Sauvignon matched well with our choice of food and would be very palatable on their own. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I think it is optimistic to suggest a dress code.
Fabulous Valentine's meal. The wine pairing was enjoyable.
Lovely Valentine’s Day date night. Great service. Only down side was not in control of restaurant. We were on time for our 6:30 reservation but couldn’t be seated until 6:50. We will go here again. And again. The food is delicious and not overly adventuresome—a mix of modern and comfort food.
Feast has been a favorite of ours for years: brunch, lunch, dinner, catering, special events. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and the food savory and always well-prepared.
I have been recommending Feast to friends and acquaintances since my first meal there three years ago. It is my "go to" place for great food and with a very reasonable prices as a bonus!
As always, the food was a culinary treat. While we did not order the Pris Fixe menu, we did order
individual items from it. They were creatively prepared and, the venison especially, was seasoned and
sauced to perfection. We will continue to visit Feast regularly.
Outstanding, all around. Our favorite Tucson restaurant.
Second time we have eaten there. Fish and meat were cooked perfectly, delicious accompaniments. Interesting cocktails. The chef visits your table! Number one on my list in Tucson.
Feast never disappoints! The Barramundi was cooked to perfection with perfect accompaniments. The wine list is the best in town. My husband had the beet juice cocktail and the neck of lamb--both were outstanding. I love that the chef comes around to the tables and gives you a detailed description of everything. We loved it!
Food was amazing and served as a work of art. Chef out in dining room checking on food quality and answering questions. Great service. Amazing wine selection.
Excellent choice of food. Seen it in Tucson for years but first time going. Looking forward to more meals every month as the menu changes.
Best fish I have had since we moved to Tucson.
Our waiter was great. Food was delicious. Four of us had an enjoyable experience.
Feast continues to be our favorite restaurant in Tucson. The staff is outstanding and friendly, the food is always unique and delightful and Doug Levy comes around to talk to most people dining there.
We like the fact that Doug changes the menu each month, experimenting with new and unique, tasty dishes.
While we haven't participated in the weekly wine tasting, we know wine room is stocked with outstanding and reasonably priced wines, as well as a knowledgeable staff/sommelier.
All in all, Feast is one of the best upscale restaurants in Tucson, in my opinion, and I would recommend it to any and all of my friends.
Steak was perfectly prepared. Seafood soup was very nice. Really excellent service.
Dinner with relatives visiting from New York Metro area. They said Feast’s quality would do well in Manhattan. We had a variety of entrees -fish, steak, sausage and all were excellent. As always the service was also excellent.
Feast is a special place in Tucson and we are grateful that Doug Levy continues to pursue inventive cuisine.
We love this place. Great food, knowledgeable, personable servic. Rounds by the owner chef ensuring satisfaction. A must eat at in Tucson
Really wonderful place. Great food and service. Not the cheapest, but maybe the best value. Great to see quality being so much more important than quantity. Portion sizes were perfect.
The flavors in every dish are absolutely wonderful. The combination of ingredients, the presentation, the service, all fantastic. Already looking forward to my next visit!
I went for a glass of wine and an appetizer with a friend. We went back for dinner the next night with more friends. It was......fantastic. I’ve dreamt about the Lobster, Corn, and Scallion Bread Pudding With Parmesan Cream Sauce ever since. I was so giddy about the meal that my better half (who never eats out) suggested we go for dinner. He was delighted with our meal. I have a guest from out of town and I made sure we went for dinner. The Charred Cabbage and Apples was delicious. The Hanger Steak entree was perfect (again!). The Green Tea Ice Cream was sublime, especially with a Chocolate Truffle Cookie. My friend was delighted and we’ll probably go back when the menu changes on Tuesday.
Just go. Be adventurous. Order all sorts of things. You won’t regret it.
I ordered the Salmon special, which came with a rice cake, greens, gooseberries and a seafood sauce. I am terribly allergic to shellfish, so I asked if they could improvise another sauce for me. The chef came up with a delicious beurre blanc sauce, and the whole meal was fantastic! I could not have been happier and I will definitely go there again!
Everything was great except the hanger steak was tough. I wouldn't order it again.
Feast is the finest restaurant I patronize regularly when in Tucson. The menu selections are varied and very innovative; the menu changes monthly. The wait staff is very informed about the menu, and they provide excellent assistance with both food and wine selection. The restaurant is beautifully appointed. The Chef (and owner?) Doug tours the restaurant chatting with customers about food, wine, and life. The total experience is very pleasant, and the food is excellent. Go there!
Sorry... steak in the “stake salad” was tough, steak dinner was super.
Service very good.
We know we are always going to have a memorable meal!
Truly creative menu: lobster bread pudding was delicious. Superb cocktails. Creative vegetarian and vegan options.
I got the sliders and lamb neck. The sliders were no more than pulled meat between two biscuit halves and one leaf of green. It had no flavor. The lamb neck was tender, but had no flavor and was had that lamby taste. It was pretty bad. My partner had the barramundi which was dry and over cooked. The best thing was the wine we had. Descriptions on the menu did not translate to taste on the food, sorry to say. I was disappointed.
The menu is always interesting, if sometimes a bit too exotic. The preparation and presentation gets better and better. It's a warm and friendly place with excellent service and a good wine list and sommelier.
The food was 'ok' but was much more enjoyable the first time we attended.
Note to Chef: Please add the filet mignon back to the menu. it was probably the best I ever tasted.
In addition to the wonderful entrees, Feast always has a few sandwiches for a bit lighter fare. I tried the chicken breast sandwich and it was fantastic! Chicken with mozzarella-type cheese and herbs on a very fresh artisan bun, served with a lovely side salad of fresh greens dressed with a simple vinaigrette. The lobster bread pudding was amazing as a shared appetizer, and we finished off the meal with the chocolate fudge cookies to die for. The bottle of wine was wonderful and reasonably priced.
First time we have had brunch. Outstanding, as are both lunch and dinner. Highly recommended
Menu varies from season to season but always includes new and sometimes surprising dishes. Always something to delight the palate!
