As always, Feast was fantastic. We travel to Tucson once a year, and our go-to restaurant is Feast. The food is creative and well-prepared. The staff is friendly and attentive. I like that they change the menu every month and take advantage of meats and vegetables in season.
The FEAST menu is most unusual which is nice as it departs from traditional blendings. I suggest to read the details of each dish to see if the blendings are in the range of your palate. A fine gastronomic adventure.
Outstanding restaurant, superb and well-priced wine list, a caring and attentive staff and a great chef. One of our all-time favorite places.
This is an amazing place. I can't say enough great things about it. Just go. You'll see.
Wonderful food and service. Unique menu with preparations not seem elsewhere.
This is our second visit in March and we plan another in a few days. The food is creative and the staff friendly.
I really enjoyed our dinner (despite some negative comments below) and thought the menu very appealing. Two of us shared the sweetbreads to start and no complaints there. My husband had the grilled ribeye, and I had the lamb loin. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked to medium rare. I was really looking forward to sharing some of my husband's cassava-Niçoise olive pancakes, but found the dish disappointing. Also, my hashed brown potatoes were really tasty but definitely had too much salt. The real disappointment, however, was the dessert I ordered -- housemade ricotta on a thin slice of chocolate cake. I was expecting a really creamy tasty ricotta, as I have always experienced with homemade ricotta, but instead it was dry and not very tasty; also, the candied kalamata olives really did not enhance the dish. Maybe if the ricotta had been better, the pairing would have worked.
Service and atmosphere was excellent! Our server was slightly unknowledgeable regarding gluten free options but did ensure that my plate arrived safe to eat!
There is always an interesting menu to choose from at Feast. The chef is very creative.
Brought guests to Feast for a birthday celebration. This wasn't our first visit. We shared an excellent appetizer. Two of us ordered the halibut and both thought it was very good. Another ordered the lamb and enjoyed that. I ordered a salad and thought it was very good also. We finished with a chocolate dessert that everyone thought was quite nice. My only minor complaint would be that our waiter was a bit inattentive. Not sure if he had too many tables or what? I asked for the scotch selections at the end of our meal which he gave me. But he never returned to see what my choice was. Regardless we will return.
A beautiful combination of delectable food and impeccable service.
The chef is fantastic. Never sure what hits combinations will taste like but they always hit it out of the ball park
Creative and delicious. Presentation of each dish was thoughtful. Appreciated the chef personally engaging with us to insure our satisfaction. Outstanding dining experience.
I think this is the best restaurant in Tucson, period. Doug does a great job with the menu, wines, and the bar is really good too. I eat here at least twice a month and have never had a bad experience. Service is terrific as is the ambiance in the entire restaurant. Everyone seems to enjoy being here so much that it's fun to meet and talk with those dining close to your table. We've met very nice people at Feast while enjoying great food and drink!
Great selections on the March menu and a superb selection of fine wines to complement every dish.
As usual, food was great. Four of us ordered three different things and all were great. Server was very good and we always appreciate owner Doug stopping by our table.
Feast continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Tucson. The menu changes every month to take advantage of seasonal produce. The food is always fresh and amazing and well prepared. The chef has a creative hand as he combines meats and veggie dishes. The plating of dishes is attractive to the eye. The wait staff is friendly and tries to please the customer. Feast is the first restaurant where we book a table when we visit Tucson.
The food was outstanding.nice touch with chef out mingling with costumers.
Problem: sitting too close to very noisy people..better spacing would be nice.
Wine selection is always so easy because the staff is so well educated on their selection. The owner is always very present, making sure all is going well and the staff are just the right kind of attentive. The menu was the right kind of eclectic, from crazy Asian spicy to simple comforting chicken with rice, in a thoughtful and well-executed way. If you are ready for a delicious meal in a well-run and lovely place, Feast is your destination. I had the Sloppy Mo' which was shredded dark meat turkey in a lovely and balanced mole, served on a nice brioche bun and a fresh and lightly dressed salad. My beloved had the fish special, which was paired with a lovely array of tiny vegetable in a miso based sauce. We both cleaned our plates. I also had the spicy green bean side dish, and it was off the charts delicious. Hot, tangy, salty, delicious -- and they were just green beans!
Feast is always fabulous, but whenever it has Lobster and Corn Bread Pudding with Parmesan Cream Sauce on the menu, it's a don't-miss! Really one of the best appetizers anywhere. It's the size of a cupcake, so maybe two of them could be an entree! The Mexican shrimp salad with chipotle-walnut dressing was the perfect size, and the dressing was unique and delish. The Long Island duck breast with whiskey-orange glaze was perfectly cooked. Maybe someday we'll save room for dessert.
Scrumptious as always.
My wife and I have dined at Feast a number of times over the past several years, and they never fail to delight! Last night was no exception. We started by sharing two great appetizers...a Duck Bao and Crispy Sweetbreads. For the main course, I ordered a Mardi Gras special, Crawfish Etoufee, which was actually better than any I'd had on visits to New Orleans. My wife ordered Ribeye Steak, which was done to medium rare perfection, and she let me swipe the accompanying marrow bone (I love 'em; she doesn't). For dessert, we shared an Exploradora, a rich torte based on chocolate Girl Scout cookies, accompanied by espresso and Sambuca. All told, it was a lovely experience, and we shall return.
The crawfish etouffee was impeccable. Very good dining experience
Feast never disappoints. Today, I had the crawfish étouffée and it was delicious. The suggested glass of wine to accompany was perfect. The service was outstanding. I have always enjoyed meals at Feast
Always delicious food and great service. This visit we had the crawfish étouffée. It was fantastic.
They had a special for Mardi Gras, crawfish etouffée, which was as good as any I have had down in the Louisiana bayous.
One of my favorite restaurants in town. I like variety and trying new things. Every month Feast has a new menu to try. I like the different seasonal things they do, and even though they're turning over their whole menu every month they still deliver great tasting and made from scratch food every time I go. I eat out fifty Saturdays a year, and eat all over town, but I go to Feast once a month to see what they have new. A really great restaurant.
The lobster and corn bread pudding appetizer was outstanding as well as the duck bun appetizer.
We went for dessert & drinks— were not disappointed! Wait staff— especially helpful.
Everything at Feast is SUPERLATIVE‼️
It is hard to know where to start.
It offers the most creative, culinarily imaginative menu possible to find anywhere. I have been to many top-rated restaurants. So, I am basing my statement on actual experience. I am in my 70’s and have traveled and lived on several continents. So, I do have a big basis of comparison. Therefore, when I say that - just to name one specific example - the Exploradora dessert I had there recently is THE BEST dessert I have ever had in any restaurant anywhere, I am basing that statement on a wide basis of comparison. ❗️Topping of mildly candied whole hazelnuts (yummy!!!) that blend magically with a filling whose rich dark chocolate flavor (with an ever so slight enhancement of pepper/peppers) is absolutely HEAVENLY. And then comes the equally heavenly crust- rich in crunchy texture and flavor . That is just one example !
Dinner was an excellent culinary experience. The menu was varied and vast. Serving vegetarian, seafood, fish, pork, duck and steak options there was something for everyone. Upon the arrival of each course, we were pleasantly surprised with unique combinations of flavors blended perfectly to fully satiate even those with the most discerning palates. Our server was pleasant, attentive and prompt. I highly recommend Feast Restaurant if you're looking for a high end meal served in a low key atmosphere.
Very Tasty Dishes. Happy with everything we ordered.
Wonderful experience celebrating my birthday. Great food and drinks. Try the Gilded Lily!
Good restaurant for date night. The food was tasty although the ribeye I ordered had too many nerves, other than that, I would return. Editing! I forgot to mention that the desert "EXPLORADORA" was super delish! A wonderful way to finish our meal.
Food is creative and very tasty! Very accommodating to modify dishes to order. The wine was excellent. Definitely a pricey meal but a unique experience!
Valentine’s Day and on vacation. Great food.
Great food, as always. Great service, as always. Great ambience, as always. Our favorite Tucson restaurant, as always.
Food was inventive and good. I had the mussels, clams and lobster. A little pricey for the amount given but very tasty. The chocolate bourbon cake was fantastic.
Had a lovely dinner with very attentive service.
So I visited on Valentine's Day and there was a special menu. . The food was good, but it was very overpriced. The portions were tiny and we both left hungry. The restaurant was cute, parking was easy. The service was good. The chef was nice and came out and greeted us. Maybe on a regular night it might be better.
